Being that I had never heard Chris' original. Now that I did, I feel like his is the cover! Cakra's version is just so much more colorful and nuanced. Much more in tone with the lyrics. Gritty and soulful. Just love it!

I am more of a Blues lover than Country. Chris Stapleton is one of the few country singers I will listen to. That being said......I just found Cakra Khan 2 days ago. (My mother called me to tell me about him and she never does that regarding ANY music.) Needless to say, I've been listening to all his music and reaction videos nonstop since. There are no adequate words to describe how absolutely amazing Cakra Khan is and how much I love listening to him.

I agree this is the absolute best cover of this song that I have ever heard. Even though I love Chris Stapleton's voice, I agree that this has a much more bluesy sound than the original.

Nice breakdown, Andreas! You are the first reactor to add Stapleton`s voice along with Cakra`s, so we can easily compare and hear the difference. I really like Andreas' method in critiquing these performances. The way that he points out a difference between CK and Stapleton and then proceeds to demonstrate it with clips from both artists. Really contributes to my understanding and appreciation of the music. Many Kudos, Andreas!

Your video stumbled upon my timeline by chance. At first I was like, let's give it 2 minutes on this, since I never really paid much attention to this kind of videos. Beside It's an Indonesian singer who I like since his first single. I always thought that his voice suited more to blues or gospel type of music. Anyway I watched till the end. Great reaction, unlike most reactors I've seen on internet, you also were able to analyze the presentation as a whole. There's another reactor, a German lady lives in Singapore who also did great reactions. She is a pro. Congratulations 👍👍👍
