Is This the Cheapest Luxury Apartment in Thailand? 🤯 

Chicago here, I looked at facebook market place today and saw a unit for lease in this apartment complex for 8,500 Baht / month. I can't believe you get a place like that for $270 US dollars / month. That's crazy. Apartments like that start around $1600 a month here. I need to move to Thailand.

Thanks to Mark for allowing another apartment tour. Anyone know how I can get in touch with him? The gym prices in CNX are very expensive so anyone who uses the gym regularly would find this a great deal. I think Mark's previous apartment had more space which is nice when teaching English in the apartment 4 hours a day. No mention of internet. Did Mark hard wire internet into this apartment too? Does the apartment come with internet included?

Even though that is in CM,, I was guessing 10,000 BHT max a month. You can rent 3 bd 2 bath houses in Phuket for 20 these days. You know that area very well but that is what I would expect to find in CM. Honestly it looked Small to me. I didn't catch the Sq Meter size. 25 ish ?

That looks like a great location and building based on the other videos I have seen on condo tours. But his apartment is a little to small for me but that price is amazing and I could live there no problem.

Can you suggest which months should folks with breathing issues avoid ? Which months have the freshest air. ? How much.does A 1 Bedroom really cost in Thailand APTS

Brett I'm a new follower of yours. You popped up I guess because I subscribe to other expat channels. I'd like to ask you a question pertaining to whether or not you think I could be a digital nomad doing something like web development or digital advertising. My degrees are in Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering. We had a few programming classes. C++ and Matlab. Never done it outside the classroom and yes, those were hard classes. C++ was a monster. I didn't like it 20 years ago but I may now. Having some programming background, do you think it's worth it for me to pursue doing something like what you do that requires programming skills? How long would it take for me to get to a proficient level? Or should I pursue a different online work path. I currently work for a telecom company so I spend my days both selling and doing tech support for mobile devices. Your advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

That's big enough for me. Gym, pool, bars and nightlife. Some people save up all year to holiday 2wks and pay about £1500 with flight. On my way cheers guys

Why do you want to buy a condo? Renting is much better option.

What does he teach online

A friend, UK Chartered Accountant, now. Passed away, told me that Condo owning firms, prefer to rent then sell, the individual Condo. Rates paid by banks on savings are and have been very low for many years now, over ten I will suggest. He had a deep knowledge on CM and used to say there is a lot of “ Undeclared “ money in CM and one use of this money is to build Condos which pay a regular high return, far more then one could receive from a bank. His other name for CM was the Washing Machine of Thailand, when asked why he would say Don’t Know. I will go to my grave saying he did know but that was a subject he would not talk on. John

We Air BnB'd a one bedroom condo there at Christmas for a week, and it looked to us like there were a lot of short stayers there at the time. I walked everywhere from there so it was a great location, just wished we had known about the back entrance, we spent a lot of time walking out the gate and around the soi to get to the 7/11 when we could have just gone straight out the back.

Is August 2020 now, and still... :(

Hi Brett. Hope you are well over there mate. I Stayed in d’vieng a year ago and I’ve stayed in different condos in Santitam many times. It’s the best location in CM for me. It’s always my first choice... 95% Thai, which means friendly people, great Thai food and ice in ya singha (yes, ice in your beer!... strange for people not familiar with Thailand, but think about it, you actually hydrate whilst getting pi**ed! 555) I paid 15k for one month in d’vieng. (Going rate there for one month before the virus hit). I made friends with the Canadian owner who has two condos there... he’s currently offering them for 10k a month on a year lease on Facebook. Funny thing is, I never even knew those were roof top gardens! Hmmmm.... I’m beginning to think this vid needs taking down tho ... too much exposure and it’ll be full when I get back to CM!! 5555 Take care mate and all the best.

Luxury? More like a shoe-box. D Vieng apartments are overpriced for what you get. There are better places to stay. I am living in a 2 bedroom, 1 1/2 bathroom HOUSE near wat phra singh for 12000 baht, wifi included.

I stayed there for about a month on Air BnB, you just need to get your face registered with the agent. I used to go to Oxide Pub nearby to have fried fish and look at cute girls.
