They are really gorgeous birds. I didn't realise they are mostly Southern birds. I get a lot around me in Thong Pha Phum, but although they feast on those Ta-kop plants around my house I haven't been able to entice them to come to feed on bananas in the garden. My bird table has turned out to be an ant table!!!!

There seen to be only a few records farther north of Kanchanaburi.. as for the bird table I have the same issue but the main problem is squirrels that steal the bananas
