The Razer Basilisk v3 Pro is a feature loaded mouse. For the person that wants one mouse that works as a gaming mouse and a productivity mouse, it has all the bells and whistles. But how does it do for everything? And is it worth that high price point?

hey man, ive been using the basilisk v3 pro for a week now and its been awesome. I stumbled across your video recently and love the stuff your doing, can't believe this only has 500 views!?? It’s a super premium mouse for real. And thank you, I appreciate that! I try and give 100% in my videos but I still have a lot of room to learn and grow, so it means a lot for me to hear that. Still trying to navigate the algorithm overlords haha. Till then I’m having fun with it 🤙

@@GekkoTechGaming yeah, im also trying to grow my youtube channel. I also have lots of room to learn and grow. Since youve got 500 subs, do you have any advice or tips for a small time youtuber like me? How could i gain more subscribers? What software do you use to edit etc.

So there are a few things. First, thumbnail design gets views. Never use the default thumbnails that YT makes. You may have the best video ever but if the thumbnail doesn’t catch them then it doesn’t matter

Next, the actual content editing, I use Adobe for everything since I was already using them before starting YT. Premiere and Photoshop, but they aren’t cheap. There are a lot of alternatives, a quick internet search will show you more than I could. I’m not familiar with alternatives though there are a lot of cheap or free alternatives that will get the job done.

Lastly, just go for it. Don’t wait for the perfect idea, or the best equipment or software, just make what you want to make. That’s what I did. As you make more videos, look at the analytics. What videos do better? Is there a pattern that certain thumbnail styles get more views? Or do certain topics? That sort of thing. I’d suggest checking out Vid IQ and Channel Makers, those channeled have great video guides on figuring out YT

Bought this mouse as an early birthday gift for myself. It's better than I thought it would be and I actually really like the shape. I realized a while back that weight doesn't matter as much as people act like it does (looking at mouse reviews subreddit). Sure, lower weight is nice, but once you get used to the weight and shape, it hardly effects you at all. Us as humans are very good at adapting to things like this. As long as using the mouse isn't physically harming you.

It’s a super premium feeling mouse for real. And this is the way 👆 I got some crazy good plays even on this mouse, didn’t have any performance issues with it. Can get fatiguing depending on sensitivity but 100% agree, unless someone has muscular dystrophy or carpal tunnel they should be able to adapt at least to a degree.

Lolol 😂 I didn’t get too much fatigue myself but yeah if you are planning to use this for intense FPS’s, it isn’t the best for long sessions at all. The shape feels pretty nice for palm grip during long casual use sessions though.

Is that metroid skinned viper a retail release? If not, how did you change the face plate?

Nope I painted it myself. You have to remove the bottom half first. Then the back plate and mouse 1 & 2. I painted them separately from the whole mouse. I don’t think paint will adhere well to the rubber grips anyway.
