Ok so if they deleted 100 videos that means they’ve been talking smack about BW, which means BW have most likely seen that content. Therefore why is there an abundant audience of BW there? N why is it NOWW, after they have a huge platform that they’re being exposed? BW dooo betterrr and more research in whom you support!! Bc this is getting old, usually these types of dudes tell on themselves super early, sooo how did they receive ANYYY support from the group that they’re disparaging. This WW was like “they’ve been soooo disrespectful to BW, I’m surprised it took this long etc.” I’m sorry but that doesn’t make sense! BW STAND UP! Geeez

The ‘Black indigenous’ theory is a very, very fringe idea that most Black Americans have never heard of and most of the ones who have have dismissed it. It’s the type of the stuff you hear discussed in rabbit hole rooms on clubhouse.

I 100% feel AK. Looking after my mum since her stroke has brought up lots of resentment - I'm doing for her what she hasn't done for me. And I grew up with my mum, but pretty much on my own cos she was single, and constantly working - so I can't imagine doing it for a parent that was totally absent. Resentment is a huge problem!!

Don't forget that black Caribbeans seemingly believe/act like they are indigenous to the islands. When they get asked where are you from and reply Jamaican no one bats an eye forgetting that the islands were just busy stops on their way to America from Africa. People love to say black Americans don't know where they're from and never bring that same heat to black Caribbeans.

When Teena Marie’s first album was released Motown Records purposely did not have her photograph on the cover, because they were concerned that Black Americans would not accept a white woman as an R & B artist. Teena grew up around and was totally immersed in Black culture. Her audience and supporters were almost exclusively Black. She was never really a crossover artist. I don’t think that she engaged in cultural appropriation. What do y’all think?

I just finished listening to the podcast and honestly the part about Tyla being bullied is partially right. I wish we had this same animosity towards 🖐🏻 who use our culture as cosplay while Tyla comes from our original culture. We have been brainwashed on many things but we have a VERY complex history. Most if not all of Black Americans are not 100% African. Plus we don’t know our original culture from any part of Africa cause it was taken from us. And no not all dark skin people are African. Native Americans are only called that because they walked over some ice but Vikings, Africans, even Asians came over to America before Europeans washed the dirt off their bodies. Humans all know that the original man came from Africa and spread out to all the lands. Scientists say they only changed due to environment and food sources.

I think your comparison of Mya to Tyla is wrong and unfair. Mya came up in a different industry where they were media trained and had different gatekeepers who you couldn't speak out against. Literally the same environment that Diddy is being indicted for now. You've seen what's happened to women from that era. Mya was blackballed because she didn't want to play ball behind the scenes and quietly left the industry, took her initiative and started her own label and went independent. How is she 'quiet'? There is strength in her actions- she took control of her life. There's no comparison between herself and Tyla other than being of a certain phenotype. Two different women with separate ethnicities, nationalities and identities.

Ok so r.e. the indigenous to america point, what I took it as meaning is the black american race is indigenous to america. They are made up of a mix of different african and european ancestries as a result of slavery. They are indigenous in that their unique ethnic admixture and culture was founded in america as a result of slavery. It is a unique black identity in the same way nigerian and Jamaican are.

1 of 2/ I just came across your Podcast because of your Title. I believe that some of you were wonderfully balanced and the others were unfair in their approach to this subject matter. As a British Black older woman in my 60s, who is also a fan of SNG and a Member, I think what is happening to them now is massively unfair. Until they went on that show, I had never heard of Andrew etc. It is strange that the focus seems to be on their reaction but not what was said: 1. Andrew called Jams a "Double Sl*ve", because he is mixed race and his heritage is Irish and Caribbean. Where is the outr@ge? James and Fuhad had to grit their teeth professionally, smiled and moved on 2. Andrew implied that because our British boys did well the time they went to a G*n range -It was to be expected! Whatever stereotyping that man has about Black American men, he put it on our boys. We don't have g* ns here. What we have sadly are kn# ves amongst our youth. James and Fuhad grit their teeth, smiled and moved on. Where is the outr@ge 3. Andrew asked James and Fuhad who they thought the most beautiful woman in the world was? James and Fuhad named the Black American Female singer (named after a male horse - YT Guidelines prevent Mr from mentioning her name). Again - that man would not have it. However James and Fuhad, gritedt their teeth, professionally, smiled and moved on 4. James and Fuhad started the conversation about "the black girl friend effect". WHY? because they were extolling the beauty and graces of a black woman and the effect she has on partners of other races. AGAIN - this man was negative. James and Fuhad gritedt their teeth, smiled and moved on. Where is the outr@ge Those of us fans who know James and Fuhad and are members - not just watching Episodes on YT - know and understand these guys - hence many black women - despite it all - are supporting and backing these guys up. I saw the first 100 videos - those were not moved recently as someone on your panel tried to imply - these were moved months ago - so now we members can carry on watching them on the other Social Media. These boys are old enough to be my sons - I would not hesitate to say if they have done wrong. They have apologised yet our own (People of colour) are still trying to be negative. Why do we do this to ourselves? The person who made the comment, should be the one everyone should be raising concerns about because until I watched SNG on their Podcast, I'd never heard of Andrew, Flagrance etc. James and Fuhad for quite a long time, (over a year at least), have been known to support black female businesses, so our British black sisters can benefit from SNG's success. SNG have done over 800 Videos at least here on YT, and other Social Media Platform where fans like me have Membership and other Platforms- their good work isn't being highlighted! These boys saw me through 8 months of Sick Leave - because of how much their videos made me laugh etc. And people of colour (especially Americans who know this man), raising concerns about this "Comedian", people are being negative about SNG's apology! Many of these Podcasts criticising them start off by admitting they don't know SNG! So any discerning spiritual person out there begins to wonder - so what is going on here?! - SNG should never have stepped foot on Andrew's Podcast. I wish they had never gone to America and just stayed here doing their work. I say this with respect to fellow Americans who support SNG and are also fed up with this negativity. Sorry guys but I just don't understand why that man is not being pulled up on the way he treated our boys and instead our boys are the ones being blamed. What is this?! There is a learning curve - Next time our boys are invited to an American Podcast- they better get their Team to do a proper homework- because now we have all these Americans appearing on Social Media saying they all know this man and his content. Well I'd never heard of him and I now wonder if our boys knew what they were walking into themselves 😢 Maybe if they plan to go on tour in America again, they need to have an American on their Team who can advice them because even when I watched them on that Podcast- this Comedian had allegedly barely watched SNG - It was his co-hosts who seemed to know more about SNG than this man. Please give our boys a break. If SNG had reacted the way some people are suggesting we would be having a different conversation! Someone once said to me - and it relates especially to public figures: If you overreact in an uncouth manner to a statement, that justifies a firm response and over reaction - sadly people will not remember what was said - what people will remember is the way you reacted! The "R" Word in Britain as all of us know is more subliminal and underhanded - from being sniffed at (meaning you are acting above your station); to the psychological games being played by sections of our Media and Press - everyone knows Meghan has been treated negatively because she is mixed race and American (White American Koo Stark went through awful Headlines, for those of us who remember in the 1980s) - Why because both women were dating a Royal. Yet no where would you see the "N" word blatantly plastered across some of those Right Wing rags - yet what Harry and especially Meghan have undergone is worse tan that: The misogynoir, "R" Word; Elitism; Anti Americanism (Koo and Meghan) etc have been sad to say the least. How many of us - let me speak for myself - How many times have I watched myself clearly undergoing an "R" word moment, which is so subtle yet so devastating -that you know what it is - The other person knows what it is - but you just are in shock and just either let it go (as some battles are not worth fighting); you walk out; you even smile but you don't start shouting and throwing stuff. Those of us who know SNG saw how uncomfortable those boys were during that interview. We have watched them on other Podcasts where they are more relaxed! Yet here in this land we have the Law to back us up if there is any kind of "R" word - even I with my legal training - I know if I walked into a Police Station and said someone sniffed at me - Even though the Officer might know exactly what I mean - the reality is - He would rightly ask: "What if the person was sniffing because they have a cold?!". "What if the person looked at you a particular way, because of your hair cut, or followed you in the shop because he happened to have been going the same way?!"Hence many black people I know - and even me - just let things ride. I had an American friend visit me and she was different. She was feisty, in a polite way, would not let you get away with ..... I admired her but we Brits (like it or not) are different from our American cousins! They are very direct and don't take...... As for whether they prefer white or black women. How Fuhad reacted could also be read the other way - Not because there is anything wrong with a black woman but - Why did she want to be a black woman when white women are treated as princesses and black women are - (and the following words - I heard when I was studying for the Bar): "Black women are deemed to be at the bottom of the rung of the ladder!" We have all heard of the power of the White woman's tears! So why would a white woman want to be black with all the privileges that come with her colour?! FACT! We may not like it but it's true! I know how I'm treated when I am walking along with my best friend who happens to be a white British woman. the irony is she sounds so posh, but if it were possible she knows more about the black culture, black music etc than I do - and I'm the black one. We have been friends for 44 years and that woman does not have an "R" word in her bones and because of the bracket of society in which she comes from she has lost friends because of me. Not because they dumped her but because she would not stand for any negativity towards me. Even when her French boyfriend now husband met me back in the 1980s he knew I was her best friend. As bold as she is, there have been times we have both stood in shock (as though frozen in time), as we have observed an "R" moment being levelled at me - It is that flight or fight moment. It happens when you least expect it by the time you recover from the shock - its not even worth responding - sometimes the moment has been lost because the person's moved on.
@G254611
@G254611 2 дня назад
2 of 2/ I am a wordsmith (as you can see) and I can respond in a way that will make you come close to tears - in a professional manner - but there are times when you just want to keep it going and just leave! I believe SNG when they said they were shocked - they probably were praying for the Interview to be over - laugh, smile and leave but never go back! I would have loved to have been in the car as they were driven away from that studio and the guard was down and their SNG cap was taken off (so to speak). Although I now live a celibate life, which I have done since 1992/93 - (because of my religious beliefs) - I can confidently say - I have dated White, Black and Asian (Chinese) men. Does that mean I don't like Black men?! What a conclusion to draw - it's like going from 0 to 100. People have their preferences and quite frankly as a Born Again, Bible believing, Tongue speaking Christian - Today - Your colour as a man, would not be doing the dictating as to whom I choose to settle with. I may have my preferences but you better have the Godly qualities I'm looking for! I have to live with that person and be compatible with them spiritually, emotionally and physically! It's not just about colour! I admired my American friend for standing up to people, politely but firmly - I wish I had her boldness, but not defending in the moment does not mean they h*te black women! Fuhad speaks fondly and with love about his mum, sister and her child. James and Fuhad have invested in supporting businesses on Social Media belonging to Black women. James needs "Inner Healing and Deliverance" from the b@llying he experienced from black women when he was young - right up to his early University days when he was always addressed as the "Light one" - with no names. But following those moments James has dated black women! We are humans, lets not pretend. Someone on the panel did not like what he said about the women who bullied him - he was hurt - what would you say -"Oh! but they were really beautiful, even though they b@llied me!". Anyone who has followed James for a minute knows he has no filter and is honest. He was hurt and he had a come back - everyone at that moment - would! You don't praise those who b@lly you! You may pray for them but you don't praise them, and to knock him for pushing back at b@llies and then concluding he does not like black women is a great jump! An erroneous one. James the 'hurting one' at that moment - reacted. If he did not like black women he would not say - time and time again (for those of us Members that follow them) - that his ideal woman is that Black American woman with the name of a male horse! I have heard James say that at least THREE Times on different Podcasts and their own Podcast! He is also attracted to white women - so what?! James cannot deny himself - he is part white - so something in him must like people who look like half of his family and heritage! Anyway can we just let this go. Where is grace? Even God said the following powerful words in John 8:7. But for people to say our boys do not like black women as some Podcasts (no one has ever heard of) have suggested is so untrue 😢 That statement (31:07/1:44:21) - about "ShXting on people they have st@len from" - Wow! was with respect - extreme, harsh, unkind and unnecessary! Wow! God bless that lady in the panel for highlighting that SNG have supported black businesses - and this is what we know of them. God bless the other lady for showing grace! People of colour need to stop tearing each other apart and - Yes - black women are always being put down - people need to start reacting to those making those comments not the reactions. And Yes - I do accept their apology. That man was negative about BOTH Black women and the TWO black and mixed race men whom he invited to his Studio. He was not just negative about black women - The outr@ge should be about that - not the way the boys reacted! The apology was never deleted. It is still there aft the beginning of their "Her inside of her mouth skin" (Episode 427) and I'm glad they did not delete it. I accept their apology. these young men are being given a hard time whilst Andrew allegedly gets away with this! Apologies for any typographical and grammatical errors.

@@MarianneSunshine I agree. This is from Wikipedia: 'Indo-Caribbean people or Indian-Caribbean people are people in the Caribbean who trace their ancestry to the Indian subcontinent. They are descendants of the Jahaji indentured laborers from British India, who were brought by the British, Dutch, and French during the colonial era from the mid-19th century to the early 20th century." And this: 'At the time of first contact between Europe and the Americas, the Indigenous peoples of the Caribbean included the Taíno of the northern Lesser Antilles, most of the Greater Antilles and the Bahamas, the Kalinago of the Lesser Antilles, the Ciguayo and Macorix of parts of Hispaniola, and the Guanahatabey of western Cuba.'
