Nice looking bike ! As you said - it's all the bike you need for most UK riders, and coming with top end parts makes it special.

@theheadangle does the Bosch sx motor rattle over the rock gardens and rough terrain?

Yes it does. However as someone whos gone from a Cube stereo hybrid 160 to an e-lyte, I would say the rattle is far less noticable. The way the bike handles massivley outweighs small niggles like this. Genuinley superb lightweight!!

What is the weight with the range extender?

The "150 works" itself is 19.2kg for size m, range extender is about 1.6kg on top, so around 20.8-21 depending on the frame size + pedals

The guy who breezes past you in yellow top at the end. Was he on a full fat demo bike ? I.e unchipped or not ?

Doesn't make sense to pay over $3,000 for an analog bike when that's about when you'd get into an e-bike. real expensive analog bikes will probably become a real niche.

It's a sport. People buy expensive analog golf clubs, definitely more expensive than a cheapo air cannon. Essentially does the same thing, yeets a ball down the range. I get ebikes, but it's a good second bike, not main bike for me, and for a lot of mbk-ers on the higher end as well. You know, the ones actually buying the expensive bikes.

@@TheRybka30 That's fine, but it was niche pre-covid and it's going back to niche. I like to do cross country myself and do it on an $800 hard tail. I'd go as high as 2 grand for an analog bike, but any higher than that and I could pick up something like the new Trek Marlin+. Go a little higher and an Orbea Rise can be picked up for $4,000. Then you have the used market which is another topic.

@@45graham45 right, but you can buy a hell of an analog bike for under 3k. Youre going to get just as good of a workout on a cheaper bike if that's all you're really after.
