Mult scales exponentially with xmult. Chips only have linear scaling. Beyond a certain point no feasible amount of chips generated is worth the opportunity cost of a joker slot. It's why I find the utility of chip adders to be weirdly situational. Early game is all about scrounging up any bit of +mult you can since it's the lesser side of the formula, and in endless chips lose all value to getting outscaled by infinitely larger amounts of xmult. Chip adders pretty much only shine as midgame options that have meaningful value just long enough to comfortably get you through Ante 8.

Thank you, I've been looking for this comment for so long, it would have added 30 base mult (so basically another X3) to the start.. I think it might even work with moving the rightmost king

That's incorrect actually, if all the Kings were red-sealed it would have only been equal value to copy Baron, and not all of Frost's Kings had seals anyways. Having 4 multipliers (Steel, Baron, Baron, & Blueprint) + 3 triggers (Mime, seal, & base trigger) is the same score as having 3 multipliers + 4 triggers because multiplication is the same forwards and backwards. Unless my logic is wrong.

Im pretty sure retriggers don't retrigger retriggers, so blueprinting the baron would be better, as the mime won't make the red seal trigger twice
