During the Escape from Tarkov Streamer Challenge, I've been using some weird kits & guns.
The SAG AK-545 was a viewer suggestion, and I was wildly surprised at how fun it was to use.

AK 545 is so solid, good ergo, good recoil super cheap to buy and build out. Only downside is the ammo but even that isn't too bad aside from inconsistencies

Honestly, the AKS-74UB is probably just better. The problem with the 5.45 caliber as a whole is the damage to armor pen ratio. Good pen ammo has virtually no damage so a single fire variant of any 5.45 weapon tends to be weaker than most. AKS rifles this patch are a laser beam and come out just as cheap I think (assuming no waffle suppressor), so I recommend these over the 545 SAG AK's.

@@PingachuS 100%. I always recommend the Full-Auto variants over the single fire, no matter the caliber. Unless we're talking 7.62x51. But the full auto 5.45 platforms are NASTY this wipe. Some of the most recoil friendly builds as well. Super easy to land a ton of shots quickly.

I've been using this gun for a while since it's the nicest ak looks wise and I'm always surprised by how well I do with it.

Surprisingly, I had a ton of fun with it. I’m not sure I’d call it the “best” at anything, but it was a ton of fun to run.

I like it also but the 545x39 suck. so Using the RFB and the Vepr Hunter. Much more lethal in my opinion.

2500 hours of Tarkov and the RFB is still one of my favorite “fun guns” to use.🤘🏻

Wanted to ask do you use any EQ or anything like that for your IEMs , and if yes what ?

Nope. No EQ. Just plugged directly to my GoXLR on standard EQ. Only my microphone is slightly EQ’d to sound better for videos.

Honest answer, build it cheap. There’s not many “wrong” ways to build it. The gun performs decently regardless of how you do it. Just pick/choose how you want to run it. (Loud, suppressed, red dot, scope, etc)

For the meantime, I haven't been making much Tarkov content. I haven't played much this wipe, and stopped making content surrounding it, because honestly the game got over-complicated with the new ammo/armor rework and all the new content. Something about this wipe feels 'off' so I haven't messed with Tarkov much! I hope to get back into it once the changes reach a stable point though!

I still can't figure that one out! No spark off the helmet, nothing. Same happened earlier in the vid on customs. Guy ate 3 clean head-taps with BT. I agree with you on it in that regard. 5.45 seems to be mad inconsistent.

@@Wubbziee idk if there's stats for this or not but it just feels like 545 has crazy dmg fall off even at somewhat close ranges. Feels like I'm shootin bb's at mfers I stg 😂

@@dripdaddydolluz2856 I can't find stats either, but iirc 5.45 has a slower speed than 5.56 so it should in theory lose damage earlier than other rifles. Also, getting a headshot through their helmet as a penetration shot will also lose some damage, again, not sure how much. But I think this clip night be desync or a bug because 5.45 PP, BP, BT, 7N40 and BS should all have enough damage to headshot at that range. Especially through class 4, unless he is using BP or lower pen in that clip.

@@PingachuS 5.45 does have slower velocity than 5.56, but not by much. Only about 40m/s slower. Not enough to notice under 200m. Ammo does have a damage fall-off, but for BT that's not until around 200m. It still holds 35 damage at 250m, which is enough for a headshot. Obviously SOMETHING is incorrect (probably my math), because there were a few times where it was NOT a 1 Tap headshot, at closer ranges.

AK-101 is one of my favorite guns in the game. Only issue with it is being stuck to 30-round mags. But, i've been grabbing clips here and there with it to do a nice build video for it, similar to this one!

Why not spend your time learning the game and different angles, versus commenting weird shit like that? It's okay if I seem "better" than you. There's people 10x better than me. No reason to call me a cheater for it though.
