Silly, and please don't take it seriously, but bagcharms? I see quite a lot of people talking about bagcharms but for the simple and humble person I look at for example the well known cherry charm from Coach and I die a little inside upon seeing the pricetag. Then on Amazon there are dozens of remakes for less than 10% the price and I always wonder what the difference is. Are you paying 95 pounds and 90 of it is the Coach tax? Is it a different material? I have no idea..
Thank you for this review. I've seen these bags a couple of month ago, and i've immediatly disliked the "hands", because they look like forks 🍴. Once you've seen it, it can't be unseen 😂
Disappointing that a $200 bag is showing signs of wear so soon. I have a $50 leather bag that I have carried every day for about two years and it is not showing any sign of wear at all. I like minimal design without embellishments. But i would pay up to $200 for a bag that was good quality leather that i knew would last. I wouldn't pay for a brand, but for quality.
I work with precious metals and would hazard a guess that one of the reasons that a luxury brand such as Chanel would avoid gold plating is that it doesn’t look good once it starts to wear off. Many luxury handbags seem to be made to be used (a lot) rather than just put on a shelf and admired. Most gold plated items that I’ve seen are looking decidedly non-luxury after being scratched/scuffed with regular use and, if the metal is incorporated into something like a handbag, may never be able to be cost effectively replated.
Thanks for this informative video! Ateliers Auguste produces exquisite handbags with 3-micron-gold-plated clasps at very fair prices. Their leather is exceptional and meets REACH and LWG standards.
A sign of quality is (I'm told) YKK zippers. Riri is also very good. If an item is made without good zippers, then it leads you to believe the rest of it was cheaply made. I look for YKK zippers in everything now: clothing, boots, and of course bags. I'm curious about your bag... can you see if the label on the zipper? BTW, I love your channel.
Thank you honest, they are nice and 'glamourous' yet we take our bags everywhere and even in being cautious things happen, also notice that the zornna bag had not feet
I would never spend more than $100 bag that didn’t have feet! My designer bags always have feet. Even luxury bags will wear out on the corners if they don’t .
The design reminds me of Schiaparelli with the hands, I was about to recommend Lalage B. :-) I think it is not worthy experimenting with these cheap ones..
I’d rather pay 200$ to get a Micheal Kors bag, which is higher quality and will last many years. I still have mine since 2007 and it still looks amazing!
I like Dooney & Burke bags and they are well worth the price. Most of my bags are more than 30 years old and look like new. They were used eclusively for work. They were about $150 at the time. I don't know if the company is still in business or the current price, but I bought one per year with birthday $ until I had all I needed (one in every color and the new styles at the time). I'm retired now so I probably won't buy anything but casual bags from now on. It's not the brand, it's that they were luxurious to me and I knew they were good bags. Single mothers don't often spoil themselves with expensive things, so the bags were very special to me. Edit: the kind of bags I have retail for $450 - $750. I guess I made good investments
This question isn’t in relation to this video but to your videos more generally… honest question, how do you dress elegantly if you’re a) not slim, b) can’t wear black, beige or white as it’s horrendously unflattering and c) can’t wear heels and for that matter only a very narrow range of footwear, so far only Blundstones or Birkenstocks don’t make my feel hurt
