On Todays episode, Tom and Jas are in Dartmouth visiting this incredible riverfront home! It has its own private access down to the water and offers some amazing views towards Dartmouth castle and out to sea 🌊 Let us know below if you want to see more coastal homes! 😄 enjoy!
Just an aside, so you don’t embarrass yourself, the name is pronounced Pettit, not petite. I know that for sure, I’ve spoken with them. I know the site well. It awkward to get there, but beautiful once you’re there.
Nobody can become financially successful over night. They put in background work but we tend to see the finished part. Fear is a dangerous component, hindering us from taking bold steps we need in other to reach our goals.
Very small house with tiny rooms, kitchen looks straight out of a cheap apartment, and the property just lacks any character. At this price I think I would expect a lot more. Great location and views though!
The decor is probably because it’s been used as a holiday rental. Price probably reflects the money making potential, and the location adds to it. You could easily make a lot of money from the property which is probably why it’s priced so high
@@zahraharrington4614 The thing is you could def do a full renovation, but with the size of the rooms I don't know if it would be worth it. As it is you can only fit a double bed in the principle bedroom? That's is not enticing to me.
This house is the definition of you can't judge a book by its cover. Looks amazing outside, but underwhelming inside. Still lovely, but would expect much better for £3Ms.
£3,000,000 ?? I really don't think so. There's nothing outstanding here except the waterside location, but you can't settle down for the night with that. Ordinary fitments in ordinary rooms. Just my two penneth opinion.
I think to many people are misunderstanding the value, attributing kitchens and furniture as the value in a property. Styles and fashion will change, but this property will always have its location which is fantastic.
Definitely a good little fixer upper. I would remodel, and completely gut the interior design to change the floor plan. All those tiny bed rooms would be more than nice as one large bedroom with an extra large closet with an on suite bathroom. Those tiny bathrooms could be redone into one large on suite bathroom. Yeah, I wasn't happy about the furniture, lighting, or the lay out. However, the location looks incredibly beautiful. A lot could be redone to make this an elegant place. #moneypit
The most exciting thing about this property (apart from the location & exterior) would be if it were the setting of an Agatha Christie novel. Other than that? needs to be gut-renovated.
Like everyone, or most said way over priced .. The deco should be a lot better for the price so so bathrooms no nice tiling, no granite kitchen tops. Like everyone is saying ya paying for the location. I'm just thinking of the huge house Omaze was raffling off in Windermere. That was worth 3mill and that was in a stunning location and it was huge and luxurious. This could have been the shed for it. Sorry nice but nahhh. I'll keep me money :)
I think for those properties so close to the water the views are beautiful but my biggest fear is flooding so I just don’t think i could live there. The property is average at best but you can charge what you like for this location.
Unfortunately Dartmouth is very expensive. It’s where people want to be, but if you’ve got that kind of money you would be able to make it your own. I could see myself on that balcony x
It isa beautiful home and situated in beautiful surroundings but it is way over priced because internally I feel it is lacking my style of modern. If I had and was paying 3 million it needs to be all singing all danceing
This is absolutely beautiful and has a really romantic feel. I'm sure this comes into its own in the summer, with all the doors and windows open, but I imagine it being really cosy in the winter, with a storm blowing outside and you're curled up on the window seat with a good book!
Wash off the salt? It’s a river according to you guys, that’s fresh water not salt water 🤷♂️ unless it’s the mouth of the river where river and sea water mix I suppose. Anyway, the surroundings are very Italian-esque resembling lake Como a bit. The interior of the house is very nicely done too, has that coastal seaside feel about it.
Every now and then I go on rightmove and look at some amazing properties, I was looking at this house only a couple of weeks ago! But yeah this definitely about the location
I know the area. I know the house. Its not worth 3million. You are paying for the river Dart and views. The downstairs is small and upstairs is just one big room sectioned into a dated kitchen, dining are and small lounge. A case of 'we want 3million or we'll keep renting it out to city folk'. Oh and the handwash by Lidl is a nice cheap touch.
Actually and trully all of your unit was very cheap mostly we love the waterfront and beachfront for our bussiness Alphabet and Alpha Groups thanks, #Alphabet #AlphaGroups #AlphaTauri
Sweet house in a beautiful location. That view worth every cent! You guys do a really good job but characteristic doesn't mean what you think it means, 😁🥰
Rooms are far too small and the price is far too high. For someone with far too much money in their bank account and nothing to spend it on might take a liking to it but for the average house hunter your viewings are far out of reach.
You are paying for its location as the house is pretty underwhelming. The living area is pretty small as is the kitchen. I’d want an awful lot more for my (fantasy) £millions!!
Location is the selling point for sure. You know you are in trouble when the balcony is the star of the show...and it is....max price for me 1.5-1.75 million.
Location was amazing, the views and river were stunning. But the fit and finish? That was not what I would expect for £3 million! It would be better to change it to 2 decent sized bedrooms rather than the 3 shoe boxes they have currently. And install a bathroom which doesn't look like it came from a newbuild.
Thank you for this tour, I had seen this up for sale a while ago so was keen to watch this. As expected a great location but only a so-so property, would pay £2m tops for it. On a separate note, can I have £1 for every time you guys say beachy or vibe in ur videos 😆, just kidding, loving ur tours.
Hey watched a couple of your videos and you don't mention the details such as size of land where the property sits, the garage size....etc.these finer details really can help when searching for a potential home
