I’ve had a lobster clasp on my chain that was handed down to me from my great grandfather and I wear it everyday and have so for over 15 years and it still has yet to fail on me 👌👌👌
you have two flat curbs, one bb curb. What’s your 4th everyday chain? also, you need a catch phrase like benballerdidthechain or shouldawenttoelliot. you're gonna be world famous one day.
LOL I i know i was just about to say that that goddamn fish is Jack Larry when we going to do about that you guys.? Well that's one thing we could do get a bigger tank for this full totally bad influence for my man Larry the Lobster.👆🤓🤷🤦😄
Thank you,I was about to spend one thousand and some change on a gold bracelet and decided to do some research before purchasing this item and your videos sure helped me make my decision. Thank you my friend, you,,,da,,,,MAN!!!!!!!
Informative as always. I like that you make good content, but don't overly push your store (it doesn't feel like a commercial, unlike some other content creators), it gives off a really professional vibe. Keep up the work!
Since I started metal detecting I always carry a magnet to give my gold findings a quick test, I noticed only the clasp would stick to the magnet and only the clasp. Thanks for the info. It finally makes sense.
The problem for me has always been the super tiny clasps on the super thin chains, manipulating those little levers hurts. Moral of the story, buy bigger chains. 🧐
WantSome Mor that’s a tough question, depends on the look you are going for and your build. I’m a slimmer dude looking for a low key look, so right now I’m looking at 2.5/2.7/3.5mm baby curbs. If you’re not sure, lots of videos on this channel to help you decide.
Easy fix if that little hook 🪝 dislocated just pop it back it place like he said its like shoulder socket.. and press the lobster clasp body slight pressure so the hook 🪝 piece doesnt dislocate
I have an 8mm figaro. And i just hate how the chain kips flipping on my neck. And i dont get a straight look of the chain on the curve. How can i fix it or what type of clasp can i change it to, to stop that. I imagine it would to be rotating capable.
I simplified my 5mm rope by removing the lobster clasp, checking weak spots, cutting the ends, and soldering them together. Still fits around my head with an inch clearance.
Question plan on buying from your site soon, am I able to order a different type of clasp than what’s in the photo of whatever chain I decide to buy? Even if it’s a little extra.
IMO if it has a lobster clasp your jump ring should be soldered closed. I just recently bought a 22" 9mm miami cuban and even that had an open jump ring. I took it and had it soldered closed for the peace of mind. I have heard though that the benefit would be if it did get snagged on something and pulled the open jump ring would just break or deform instead of your clasp or chain breaking... but 🤷♂️
A place wants 125 to replace my clasp. With keeping the old broken one. Seems like a rip off. I'll buy it myself, then bring it to a different store and have them melt the jump ring. And then i still have a small piece of scrap gold to add to my scrap and sell eventually.
I have a question, my lobster clasp broke but what broke was not the mechanism but where the clasp ends that the makes it close, I’m thinking I could Bend it or should I just take it in and soak like 50 bucks for a repair, it’s like a millimetre large break it’s so small,
I got a question about something. If any of my gold jewelry or silver jewelry gets scratched then I can just take it to a jewelry and they can just get the scratches or nicks out and make it look brand new again correct?
Please help me I need to know how to fix it please please please I’m about to cry my moms gonna kill me idk how to fix it and I don’t even know how it happend please
Litzy Jimenez what part of yours broke the circle that holds the chain and clasp together tore apart of mine but I managed to fix it if u need help still add me on snap @its_andrewjay
Thanks 'JACOJE LYNX' for sharing your knowledge with us all ! You mentioned in the video that the spring inside a gold lobster clasp is not made from gold since it's too soft. 1) What type of wire is the spring made from typically in gold clasps? stainless, plated steel, nickel or other.. please specify? 2) Does the steel type matter (compatibility wise) if its a 10K or a 14K or a 18K gold lobster clasp? 3) What gauge wire usually are these springs made from? Thanks again & God bless!
I got a brand new gold chain from italy and the spring popped out just like this. I took it to a jewelry who tried to charge me 100 bucks telling me I need a new clasp. I asked if she could just pop this back in because I want the original clasp and she said it was broken, is this true?????
I have recently snapped my lobster clasp and am going thru the process of getting it replaced, is this a hard job or is it fairly standard. Also I have no idea about chains so does it have to be a lobster clasp or can it be any clasp. Help would be appreciated.
The spring popped out for my rope chain that I purchased from you. It’s been a few months since I ordered it can you fix it free of charge? I understand that you must be super busy with Christmas orders but I can wait until things settle down. I DM’d you on Instagram.
Hello. Jaco. Craig lobster clasp did just what you said... Lucky not to have lost my chain guy here:) How are you? Thanks for the good info to take better care being gentle rules. My lever went down probably going to hard opening to wear. I only noticed when taking off. Now I know. It was under warranty so it went off immediately. Thanks. From GB.
I lost my gold bracelet my grandfather left for me when he died. I cant get over it and its been ten years. I tear up about it once in a while. I lost it in pacifica by san Francisco. On a date with a horrible girl that tried to ruin me. Should have beeb a sign from my grandfather when i lost it...
Recently I had a problem with my lobster clasp. I have a rope chain with a lobster clasp, and the spring came out with the wiring. But I was fortunate enough to fix it myself and now is working like new once again.
My grandma and grandpa have had their rosaries on goal chains with that kind of clasp and you just reminded me of how I never knew how they got their necklaces on since I was a very young child. Only now I found out how, you bend them close. 😅I guess I am still curious about getting it on and off often? Lol
Very helpful and informative information bro. Keep up the excellent work and the grind of growing your business. You're gonna be huge one of these days like on that TV Johnny top level. Smash button hit!!! Smash!!!
@@dorion5963 I was thinking about possibly being robbed. Bought it for daily wear but I also frequent bars and clubs. My chain is expensive to me so I'm thinking cautiously.
