In what way would this be funny? The other soundbytes have actual uses that make the stream more interactive and funny but this one is just a gotcha meme that would need buildup to make sense like in the media share streams

Chilean here! Just to make a small correction, the movies did came out here in 1978 just like everywhere else. It's just that the George Lucas special editions where brodcasted for the first time in public tv in 2003, it was sort of an event, since there are a lot of old die hard fans of Star Wars in Chile.

Oh, and after every "Cerveza Cristal" it would cut to commercials, that way, when they got sued, they argued that there was a milisecond blackscreen between the movie and the ad, and it was just a part of the cut to commercials.

I have to come clean, while I did watch the broadcast at the time, I was like 6, so I remember seeing the Cerveza Cristal Ads, I don't remember if it had a cut to commercials or not, I did read however that the Ad companny argued there was a blackscreen in between so it was part of the comercial break, so I am going off of that

@@SpaceAtomz Cerveza Cristal is... Cheap, and it's almost emblematic, but unless used to make another drink, like a "Fanshop" or a "Terremoto", is the nastiest beer you can have. Specially since Chile has a lot of better options, and has a huge craft beer culture.

Actually, the original Star Wars Trilogy arrived in Chile in the early to mid 80s. My dad actually recalls how popular it was back then, and all the local dub censorship and tone changes that caused controversy, and how a lot of his friends misheard Darth Vader as "Dark Vader"... Star Wars was later retransmitted on open TV in 2003, of course though, it was the Cerveza Cristal version

Like, embed it into the story, where the characters would suddenly talk about how they wish they had some instant mashed potatoes or whatever. This was done by the translators, without asking the original authors, who got pretty furious...
