Great video. Good timing because Volair has 20% off on these paddles plus you can get an additional 10% with your discount code. So the price is $129!!!
I bought the Mach 2 Forza today. Should arrive in the mail soon. Thanks for the review. Just started pickleball this week. I didn't want to start out with a $40 paddle, and have to relearn the feel and techniques of the swing from a cheap paddle. So I decided to go with a decent starting paddle.
If it's price, you're not going to beat Volair. Volair has a 20% Off sale right now and you can use my code BK10 for an additional 10% Off at Volair.com, it's an absolute steal!!
@@bk_pickleball mainly looking at performance and all court. Currently have a DBD 16 mm and I have been mainly debating between adding a Mach 2 forza or a Ruby to the rotation. I appreciate the help.
@@juansantiago1441 the Mach 2 is much different than Ruby; DBD and Ruby will be more similar. If you want something different in the rotation, go with the Mach 2.
I’ve been playing with the Mach 2 Forza 16mm for 6 months and love it. Bought the 14mm as well but haven’t played much with it. Got the Spartus Apollo in the mail last week and played several times with it but it just doesn’t compare to Mach 2. I wish it did I love supporting the smaller companies with affordable options. Selling the Apollo if you know anyone I’ll take $75 just to get back a little of my money:
Arnold has not played with a volair for several tournaments.. There was a disagreement over money as usual.. From what I've read, Arnold felt the original contract he had signed, was not adequate any longer since the company has grown so much. I guess the people that funded this startup didn't agree with Arnold so he quit playing with it. He was part owner, not just a sponsored player..
Yeah, essentially Volair bankrolled Arnold's career and he was part owner and he weighed in a lot with the Volair paddles. The deal said something along the lines of once you get your career going and once we grow as a company to a certain point, we expect our money back. Arnold said uhh hell no, yeah you bankrolled my career but im not giving you this money that you fronted me for. This was in the middle of a tournament, he went to the Pickleball Central booth and has been playing with the Joola paddles, though not a sponsored athlete for Joola as of now
