This feels like every game, either I have to fail carrying teammates or I do literally nothing the entire game cause the other four are already doing objectives when they have one guy left
I've played with golds and plats who on defense and throw stuff into the Aruni gate and are clueless. Or when it's ready to be reactivated and they just sit there when no one's pushing
Absolutely go with their recent average, I'd wager you're being set up because they want funny content about you failing. Y'know, people choosing to submit solely because they're deranked and know they play better. Or they just want to feel better about their losing streak, either way. It happens with other Guess Your Rank/ELO/MMR series on RU-vid.
It's going to be skewed no matter what. People can cherry pick a clip where they popped off but are normally trash, or show a hilariously bad clip when they're normally good. I'd say It shouldn't matter if hes right or wrong as long as the clips are entertaining.
that secure area clip made me wanted to go back to y1 and play secure area in ranked. now that we have operator bans, we can avoid the montagne/clash stalemates if that are still possible.
That first guy is every solo queue player ever. Dude played 14 straight hours and lost 800 elo. Guaranteed that more times than not, he was left to clutch. At least he had a hard breach for that game. That’s rare in solo queue 😂
I played siege at launch for a few months then didn’t come back until phantom sight and man did I get pissed at people leaving sight, I thought it was so stupid. I also preferred secure area over bomb. Boy did the game change a lot form launch to phantom sight and from phantom sight to now 😂
It’s kinda a shame that everything posted recently has just been stream highlights (with the exception of the console series which he might be ending early) because now if I watch his streams I’m not going to want to watch the video because I would’ve seen it already or I don’t want to watch the stream because it’ll be a video later anyway.

I know this is a year old but at 42:30 ish he roasts a guy for doing a run out as Pulse. One of his newest videos on the new map he informs us of a GREAT runout we should do this season that he gets a triple kill with… as Pulse 😂
I was crayon 🖍:) glad varsity thought I wasn’t complete noob. I was 3011 (gold 1) Elo during that game. The loss from that game dropped me to 2892 (gold 2) so varsity’s guess was spot on.

On unranked I prefer the scorpion because I don't have people rushing in often in games that I play. It is always players breaking reinforced walls instead. It isn't often that I even have players entering the actual building.
Did varsity miss the mozzie in the second clip reinforcing the wall that aruni had just punched? Cause I think if he had seen that, he wouldn't have guessed gold.
Everyone always asks me why I wont play ranked and what varsity said about sweating in plat is 100% it. I just want to have fun and enjoy the game. Meme a little and joke around. I just generally dont enjoy ranked, because I can have really bad games and that just sucks for my team and I feel bad :/ I love messing around with people!

You see yourself quite highly 🙄

How about changing the rules so that you have to send in a ranked match and you have to include the rank it was played in in a separate file so there's no confusion about what counts (unless you expect people to rate themselves higher than they are or something).
it looks like some of the people either derank to troll you or have a bad week before you check out the replays. Doing the average or even just picking the rank they are normally are would work better.

Should definitely change what counts as being correct when guessing a rank. Imagine if someone is Plat 3 during the match/round they submitted but then drops to Gold 1 afterward. Saying they're Plat would then be "incorrect" despite actually being accurate. So I would say to go with their highest MMR of the season, rather than the MMR they have at the moment they're looked up.
the amount of MMR you get from winning a match is so high that match making rating or ranks really doesnt work, 1 win gets you 1 rank higher, they should reduce the amount of mmr from winning or losing to 25 like in other games or double the amount of subranks to 10 or just add more ranks
I believe it's the way it is cause no one likes being bad at a game, so they make it easy to get out of copper. Meanwhile most other games have each rank be the same size so it's a challenge.
53:10 i don't think the lesion was genuinely trying to shoot through the shield. i think he was basically just fucking around since he knew neither could kill the other at that angle. that said, i have seen people in casual "platinum" have no idea that "a clear shield" was the new op's gadget so idk
You always say: He saw. But not everyone has hos eyes rest of the middle of the screen. Maybe because adhd, but i as exsample watch the whole screen, wait that not right. I switch to spots on the screen. So sometimes i look to the left, even my aim would suggest i look to the middle. Also, i am kinda a sound whore and the aiming on silent moments don't show often, what's going through my mind in that moment. Just as little reminder, often maybe if only a little bit is seen, he doesn't realize that. On the other hand, because of adhd i am also very inconsequential in my action. But i also played less the last years. XD My statistic doesn't show how i played on my high day.
I’m a hard stuck gold player when I solo q but I was in gold 3 yesterday, and dropped 17 kills in 5 rounds, and we lost 4-1… the only round we one I aced😂 my team had a combined 3 kills the whole game bruh. I wasn’t even mad I was just laughing at how fucking bad they were
