Céline has a Grammy appearance and an Olympic performance this year. What if she also releases studio versions of Hymne A L'amour and THIS SONG this year? Heaven and a renaissance of the 90s for us fans.
@@TalDion I'd be interested to hear that if you ever come across it! I much prefer this mix (1996) over the 1995 one (not as much orchestra and differing ending) or the one named Take 7. There's 3 versions that I know of this particular song in circulation from a funded project by a group of fans (myself included) but you're always going to get someone that leaks it. I just wish her voice in this one was clearer amongst the orchestra!
I’ve always loved the choral backing vocals Spector used on his records, think it was him playing them on a synthesiser in this one, proper celestial and angelic. This would have been her greatest record.
I just listen to this song 5 times I am 75 and I listen to Celine every workout for 25 years I truly regret what she is currently dealing . My prayers are with her
For those who don’t know… these songs were shelved and never completed because Phil Spector was problematic during the sessions so her husband/manager Rene Angelil shut it all down. It worked out well for Celine, who went on to record the record-breaking Falling Into You album shortly after. Celine will probably never agree to officially release these songs… but they are such a treasure. Various versions of these Celine/Phil songs are out there… on tapes. Such an interesting chapter in Celine Dion’s English recording career. I do hope they’re officially released someday.
Knowing Spector, the tapes are probably locked in his vault in an undisclosed location, never to see the light of day unfortunately. This sounds like someone recorded it sitting in the studio whilst she sang it with the musicians as the vocal doesn’t sound recorded onto tape and it isn’t engineered or mixed.

I personally think it’s selfish not to share this with the world. Music is the international language we use to communicate no matter what the actual language it’s being sung in, after all how many people know what Pavarotti is singing in Italian? The joy is the passion that is being expressed by the artist. When you feel the goosebumps then you know the passion has hit you. Come on Celine, please release this, incidentally the Diva Dion has just released a new song, welcome back lady❤️❤️❤️🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️👍
My father Jimmie Haskell arranged and wrote the music for all of these Tunes I was in the studio when they were recording. I have all the original music

yes this sounds like it was taken off of a cassette. I wonder where the masters are. I know Phil Spector actually kept some masters in a box at his mothers house lol
@@mattmammone2338 I suppose his mama died before 1995. Anyway... maybe someday his children wil release some unreleased stuff incuding this one. Ora maybe somebody will do better quality versions ot unreleased stuff with Artificial Intelligence.
