Meteorites were often used as metal sources.

Misleading headline. The metal in the dagger came from an iron meteorite. What is impressive, is the craftmanship of making the dagger.

That props up the ongoing theory that it was indeed a "heavenly object". Pretty amazing what science can prove all those years later. A Cosmic dagger indeed...

Old news. Without watching this vid I know it was established several years ago the dagger is made from a meteorite that fell to earth

Thank you for sharing these fascinating news; they open to new fields of research. Meteorites passed through atmosphere and this, obviously can modify their molecolar structure and/or composition. It could be quite different from what is called outer space material.
@bengray5013

No, the internal structure of meteorites is always the same as it was in outer space. This info is not new either.

If they had made that the drill tubes and other tools to shape rocks would be made just as good as now and add some diamond dust on mm, cm sizes and maybe higher that were used in cutting and details with art. They are still in Egypt or were melted down later after or transported outside Egypt and misplaced someplace on land or oceans and seas or are locked up and safe.

No, Tutankahmun's dagger didn't come from outer space. Please, do not feed the crazy people minds. The material the dagger was made of came from outer space. Which is a very different fact.

I have heard of meteorite metal knives used by Arctic tribes, so this is fascinating. It makes sense that the Ancient Egyptians would use meteoric metal for a Pharaoh's knife, because of their religious beliefs.
