It’s so funny I was just recommended this game to play and my first thought was “how accurate is it to how real Vikings lived?”

Jackson Crawford put out a video today discussing authentic Viking hairstyles and used the same letter as evidence. Nice coincidence.

they did have a valkyrie or a winged woman carry you to your spawn point at the beginning of the game but for some reason they changed it :)

but since the iron age was before the viking age, wouldn't the runestones still be around?

I got to say, Eiktheir got electricity because it looks cooler than liquid, plus all the fights are easy if you just run away and use your bow.

Love your videos, you should have a lot more followers! 👍 I've been playing assassins creed Valhalla, how about doing that next? It's mostly Hollywood Vikings, but good fun Hollywood Vikings! They manage to get some nice touches in there, then give everyone leather strapped outfits!

Regarding the runes. Why would it be wrong to find an outdated set of runes during the viking age? Not everything the vikings saw came from their own, short, historic period. It would kind of be like me finding an outdated nokia phone and making a call with it in 2021. Not all that weird for a viking to find some outdated runes in a world past death. As a matter of fact, we still find the same runestones today! And they are even more outdated now. Why would you think that the only runes vikings would see on stones would be the most recent ones? I'm sure Odin installed some magic stones before the viking age started and didn't bother to update them all with the latest font.

The valkyrie is not a bird, if you look it has a womans face and is wearing a bird mask. It has was woman's legs too. Its a half bird half woman.

I think comparing a helmet to owning a sportscar is a little exaggerated. Haven't only 2 helmets been found in viking graves?
