@@Emerald_Forge well westjett himself said in his video that he will quit playing valorant but won't stop uploading new skins/map content. Well he is westjett so can't trust him lmao
If you are looking for content then there are lots of games to kill time on or make great content. Yes you can also create content for valorant but I believe it should be more competitive
@@HenryJacobs-gj8vpIf a community doesn't have sub groups it's destined to fail earlier than necessary, literally every other game mode aside from ranked n unrated is literally just warm ups. Slash half of them and replace them with a rotation of actual fun modes with a mix of old modes like escalation or smth.
@@HenryJacobs-gj8vpCSGO is designed to be a competitive shooter, there are still custom maps and things like surf. All y’all saying that Valorant can’t be casual when CSGO is both competitive and casual are clowns
@@catherinrinecs has casual , surfing , customs games , workshop , community maps , party game servers and so much more. It's honesty so much better than the valorant BS
I feel like this should have been the case to begin with, making only valorant content is probably hard, yeah variety content is also hard but not as hard as making infinite content for valorant
It’s crazy how in every one of Riot’s games this is happening. It’s almost like there pure focus on the ranked grind and skins is not fully working for them.
@@CCriddy50 As in the overall sentiment of the community and its content creators is that of frustration and at best apathy. Their games are big but struggle to reach that global/casual appeal that would really push both the e-sport scenes and the overall enjoyment of the games into a non-catatonic state.
@@fallingarc8034the game is a decade old and massovely successful, what do you expect. Same with valorant, one of the top shooters for 3+ years. The company is very happy with what theyve created with these games believe me. They arent going to expend resources now to try to go even bigger with these games, they're going to ride out their popularity on autopilot for who knows how long while working on other new projects
@@fallingarc8034not really, casual players dont watch vcts lmao and at the end of the day its a competitive fps, if u want content theres plenty “casual” games for it
They should also add an in game programmable custom map creator and player, and like a rotating map game mode where you play random maps with the maps game mode
@@roastedwatermelon31 community servers are like a blessing to video games. scp sl community servers is just as fun, i think there are l4d community servers too. community servers are like a blessing to me.
Also the Smurfs, they are ruining the game. I start a match after a day of work with the intention of playing 2-3 games. There's at least one smurf in them. I can't rank up this way. I only win 1 or sometimes no match because of toxic teammates. These 2 things need to be taken seriously.
Its because the only thing there is to the game is ranked. And when they can't have fun in their ranked games...the only thing they can think of is smurfing. When a new friend plays the game...they have to make a smurf account since there are no casual servers where they can teach their friend. If there were more to the game than ranked and skill based matchups...aka more casual modes like zombies...or just teamwork activities other than shooting in PVP...you could teach your friend without smurfing...and nobody would be inclined to log into their smurf account after a bad game...bc they can take their anger out on zombie high score or something...
i’d like it if they’d add a little lobby you can just go and chat with people in honestly, i just switched to pc a week or so ago and just started valorant and am new to m&k. it’s really hard making any friends because 95% of the valorant community does nothing but complain about everything you do if you mess up and literally nobody will help me get a better understanding of the game, not to mention the only friend i have that could play it with me lives in another region so we can’t anyway
As part of the valorant community I give you some tips now 🙃, 1. If you want to find friends, don’t be annoying and follow basic social etiquette. Communicate a lot, be kind and laugh a lot. If you see something a teammate could have done better be constructive. 2. If you want to become better watch woohoojin one month to gold especially since you are new to m&k 3. Basic tips: Keep your crosshair up Don’t move and shoot at the same time (never do that plsssss xD) One suggestion: Use Low sensitivity for your mouse while working on the pc and playing on it. It is way healthier. I suggest between 600-800 Dpi and for valorant no EDPI above 290 EDPI is your mouse Dpi e.g. 600 times your ingame sens e.g. 0,4 = EDPI 240 If you have any questions, tag me (I use the Klim Blaze as a mouse btw 😊)
@@arjunk3706he’s good but don’t be afraid to look to other people for advice (high level friends once you meet some cool ones, or coaches besides him or you can have banana man really vod you if you want) I actually have been thinking about it lol but i just got vodded by another t2 coach so i’ll wait until i improve a little more. Also just prepare yourself for toxic people, you’ll run into multiple if you plan to grind valorant so having a good mental for that will really help you to avoid losing your temper in a game you want to win. I’d recommend honestly just muting people who take it too far. normally i started to lose my shit too so after a minute of having em muted i come back and apologize as the bigger man to try and get them to actually try so we can win. Getting mad at people who are mad at you is never truly the answer. And when people try and give you shit about how you play take any points of actual criticism and try to improve on it. If their just whining about bullshit tell them that. I’ve had to tell multiple grown ass men on this video game to grow up. You don’t really have to say anything back that’s why i said mute. Cause for me i’ll get mad and i understand that’s problematic for my gameplay. So i try and avoid that conflict if i really can. Other times i’ll just let out the pent up rage and flame the hell outta them. That normally just makes them quiet tho and now they’re definitely throwing my game 😭
A story mode would be cool. Imagine replaying all of the lore that valorant has to offer by yourself, fighting against mirror valorant and capturing radianite from them
It's no problem ! It could be optional to download. Valorant needs workshop like csgo or Fortnite community editor. If riot can't do sth they should allow ppl to do so.
bruh...Valorant is like one of the smallest modern FPS games in terms of file size. No one cares about file size when hard-disk space is so cheap... The game desperately needs more casual AI experiences for newer players. Too many smurfs and essentially the barrier to entry is ridiculously higher than 1st year Valorant...which wasn't that great to begin with bc of all the CS people migrating over. Think about a person's 1st time playing any FPS games...and they have to go against the try hard "i miss her" jetts in Valorant. Great way to push them back to "gamers are people who don't touch grass and just not for me"...
As a content creator, you should be involved in more than one game. Some content creators I know play Valo, CS2, OW2, and RPG games. Since Riot games are pretty competitive and addictive.
Be valorant > Grind for ranks, unable to do so Buy skins > prices are exorbitant Buy battlepass > very little effort put into it Play escalation > uh, bored already Play swiftplay > again bored
@@slightrpg9890cuz it’s an fps game not an rpg game. Seriously, so many fps games are like this. You want content? Play idk maplestory or world of Warcraft. No matter which fps game you play (csgo, rainbow 6 siege, battlefield etc), the primary focus is not the lore but the gameplay. I get cs has surf maps and community modes but that’s always been a part of cs. Valorant just cant implement something like surf or bhop maps cuz it doesn’t fit the game. And as far as I can tell, riot does try to implement some things the community wanted, like swift play or escalation. People just want things like search and destroy, hide and seek, zombies etc etc. but end of the day valorant has always been marketed as an fps and that’s what people signed up for. There are plenty of other games that have way more interactive game modes people are free to play.
It’s funny because I understand for people who normally solo queue but for me I normally play with 3-5 people so every match is just fun. And we play customs and games like hide and seek
@@empowered9496not just a platform. A breeding place for edaters and child predator but honestly more enhoyable than playing with cringey kids and screaming russians
Idk I feel like there is a good variety in the modes. They could go for even more variety like an abilities only mode, or maybe something weird like a swift play with random abilities. You could get Breach’s aftershock, Gekko’s wingman, Yoru’s tp, and Viper ult or something. Or they could let you pick your own abilities for maximum meme.
I hit a peak of D2 and was so worn out of playing Val. Then CS2 came out and me and my friend tried that out and even though it needs some work I’ve been enjoying it so much more than val, and knowing community maps will be coming soon idk how much valorant I really see me playing anymore
One of the examples is TF2. The new summer update was basically made by the community and one of the reason why TF2 is still alive is beacuse of custom servers. Also adding things like community workshop means limitless content for players and youtubers (which TF2 also has).
A simple and effective solution is weapon and agent level ups, and skin challenges. Something to grind other than rank. The agent level ups right now are so boring and more or less useless until you unlock the said agent. Gun level ups would help too with enticing players to use other weapons. Maybe a clan system and implement some clan v clan fights and leaderboards. With clan challenges/objectives. I would also love to see a in game LFT chat/room where you can post when you need a team or duo to play with and it shows the stats, rank, and main so you know who you want to team with. Few suggestions of mine…
I just want a party mode of sorts. Like swiftplay but instead of just guns, goofy modes like wingman dodgeball where last man standing wins the round. Or whatever the content creators are doing in their customs with cypher trips
Csgo had surf, combat surf, kz, bhop, zombie mode, zombie escape, only awp with custum maps, death run, hide and seek, prop hunt, jailbreak, ttt, flying scout, 35hp and shitton more. These were all community bulit gamemodes with insane amount of custum maps. 80% of my playtime is on community servers.
Community maps would be a good solution for that, just like the only up in fortrnite and other things that people are doing there, it's fun when you have a choice and not just the basic modes that the company wants you to play.
We knew this from the beginning though , this game was head to be an esports title and as you said , if you aren’t playing serious/to win it’s not going to be fun and there is little else to do.
i’ve found the most enjoyment in getting a group of people to either run customs or at least 5 stack in different game modes other than comp. but obviously that’s not easy to do and can still get boring after time. val really is a side game now comparatively to the other things my friends and i play (picked up league, tft, rainbow, cs2, bg3, etc.)
From someone on the outside looking in what stopped me getting playing is the style of the game (not a fan of playing csgo but can watch it) the visual clutter and the huge edater scene
I agree as a content creator. I dont even know what title should i put for my next video. I have so many videos that i recorded but havent upload due to no clue what to put into it.
my biggest problem is when I wanna play some casual unrated, just chilling, but no the enemy must have a high rank duelist main that makes it impossible to enjoy
Me and my friend would argue so much while playing valorant so we started playing apex and other games again and we immediately started having so much fun and the arguments stopped.
the reason why even now games like tf2 are still alive without any major updates for ages is because of their community driven maps and content and stilll has a competitive aspect although dying … i wish other games took the same “fun first” route because you can still have a competitive game even if you focused on having fun first
One issue with this is that valorent isnt meant to be incorporating aspects such as real blox customization and isnt meant to be a game you play all day every day. Its meant for a play a few hours, play something else. Valorent doesnt have to be 8 games in 1 and they already have enough content for it to be considered a grindable game. Riot doesnt appreciate people trying to roblox their creation. If you want customization and go to roblox or fortnite because riot has made it clear and this message is only puttings developers spirit’s down causing more depression. So please accept that Valorent isnt roblox for a reason and is unique. It just isnt and shouldnt. Things dont need to change this drastically and actions like this could lead to the game’s termination. I enjoy Valorent for what it is and appreciate how it isnt fortnite creative or roblox.
@@nsnsikdksksksospapap Yeah but a more progressive community type one. The one in the range is single player and isn’t created by the players or communities
Honestly yea I agree with u cus u have some valid points, cus u can’t do content unless you’re pro, but if you’re not pro and still do content for fun people are just gonna attack u and say u spoiling other people’s games just for “content” honestly valorant is a game that’s barely for “fun”
I know this sounds crazy but a battle royal mod would bring alot of content It should be like all the maps glued together somehow in one big map Instead of looting you consume orbs just like in spike rush, abilities and health renew for every kill, maybe every 3 orbs you get the option to upgrade to one of two guns When you die you go to a 1v1 arena where only the winner of the 1v1 comes back Add solo - duos - squads options No need to jump from the sky, just spawn like in deathmatch , but the difference is that you chose where you want to spawn when the match starts also maybe it would be a good idea that you have 500 hp instead of 150 cuz it's not fun to get shot 1 shot in the back in a battle royal
Sad to hear as I'm just getting into the game but when you want a game to do something it's not meant to do and be something more than it was designed to be. Next we're going to say Madden needs a drive to and from the stadium mode or cod needs a lunch at the barracks with the boys mode. Sadly we can't make games we love into more just so we can keep loving them when we get bored.
I think they should add domination/control. I think a capture the point mode would suit valorant and make both casual and competitive players happy. And they wouldn't need to make new maps for it either (it'd be nice if they did tho) because some maps already would work well with this game mode.
This happens to all games that were designed around a competitive game loop. Valorant in particular has to basically be reinvented to be viable as a casual-type game as it was developed as a arcadey Counter-Strike clone.
Riot should make a Radianite Mode players enemy was Reyna and her formed group in Future as a Boss and Reyna was Final Boss. It's gonna be hard because it happen in the far Future.
Something like this happened to the d2 community not long ago and it turned out that nearly all creators that said they would quit just straight up didn’t and only made vids like “I quit“ to jump on the d2 hate bandwagon. The closest thing to “quitting” only some of the creators did was do variety stuff like play other games one day a week. Although I’m not really familiar with the valorant community and at least in d2 you could do what was most fun for you and weren’t locked into being a sweat Lord
If you look at my older vids, I used to make D2 videos before Val when Beyond Light first came out. As much as I love the game, the drip-feed content was not sustainable at all and I got bored of it.
@@SenaVL real bungie sure do have interesting ways of giving us “consistent” content😔. It’s especially a shame cuz there’s no pvp game in the market rn similar to d2. I wish you well on your no more d2 lifestyle wish I could quit😩
Comparing a game like valorant too roblox is a bit of a stretch… comparing it too other fps games such as overwatch might be easier. Overwatch has player workshops, better costume settings, fun game modes, and has a replay system. Imagine if valorant did that.
I thrive in competitive games I don’t even play causally anymore cuz i find it boring with no actual competition i like it when people take the matches seriously
One game that does this very well is rocket league. There’s your competitive content creation but then there’s also things like custom maps which create a lot of opportunities for content creation. Having custom made maps/game modes would be really cool although hard and I’m not sure people would put in time to make them.
this is actually a great proposition, i think the community would benefit greatly from variety game modes. Although i dont think Valorant is focused on that, i think they have a business model that is making them a ton of money and like it how it is, so a part of me thinks valorant is...satisfied. Which IF val does serve their community, they would consider something of the sort but because the community is val's biatch i perhaps think they will not choose to involve variety games. personally i think a infected type gamemode would be stunningly fun, but... i guess we will see!
it really takes little to no effort to invent new gamemodes and cycle through them on a regular basis. They reuse the same stale gamemodes that they have been using since the games release. Team death match was the only new experience they have released as a permanent mode, (which is not worthy of any praise because you can play TDM on any mode. Like riot - infinite abilities mode - hostage mode - 1v2 clutch mode - battle royale You have all of the materials to implement just one of these modes per update with your McDuck ass fortune.
I wish we could have parkour maps, surfing, mazes with puzzles. Valorant is wasting it’s potential and everyday more and more people are quitting. Before I used to find competitive matches 30-40 seconds after queuing up (in diamond), now it takes 2-3 minutes. I see a dark future for Valorant with the release of CS2, they really need to step it up
If the game changes too much something bad could happen like that one game called fortnite, it used to be played a lot but they added some strange stuff that didnt go with the game theme and then almost everyone left the game
I kinda agree but at the same time you gotta get creative within the game you main . If grinding ranked delays the production of quality content then give it some balance . Some comedy , some challenges, some custom games
Eggwick is not quitting entirely, he said that it does not mean that I will stop uploading valorant content but rather start uploading other content more than valorant while making valorant content when possible
