I don’t think respawn intended her ult to kill. Like you can if you want to but I think the main goal is to apply the damage bonus and let your team or move in yourself with amped damage.
They intended to kill in at least 2 shots (1 body, 1 head) while shooting alone. Which is possible but hard. She's op only with a coordinated team, which is more elusive than heirloom shards.
Vantages ability to single somebody out is insane. If you coordinate with a teammate, you can absolutely delete someone before the real fight even starts.

Tip with her tactical: Keep the bat in your pocket. When you want to jump, look at where you want to jump and hold your tactical. This will deploy the bat and make you jump at the same time. It is much faster compared to separately deploying, moving your bat and then jumping. It is also more accurate and you won't have a hard time trying to move the stubborn animal.
I need to had , if your bat is out and you need to reposition quickly, dont call it back , cause it need to reach you before you throw it back , which take a lot of time. Instead: click where you want echo to go than right after your click hold it, echo will always (or almost always?) Be at the spot you wanted him when the tactical animation is done (he only need to be in your line of sight the moment when you jump) Ps. You do realize it depends on what shields they have right? Kinda making me lose brain cells by saying why does it have to kill them with 3 or more uh its not a KRABER if it knocked them with 2 or 1 shot it would make the kraber a useless gun like if they made superman faster then the flash then flash would not be the fastest man alive
@@iiTzLurks lmfao literally like every sniper takes more than 3 shots except the kraber. If she had a kraber on cooldown (with a scan and dmg buff) itd be so insanely broken☠️
It’s pretty damn annoying that’s Forsure cause a lot of squads have access to lots of long range weapons now. It’s been annoying to play but if you can close the distance they’re usually not too good
Since you asked for our opinions, in my experience vantage is stupidly fun when you can hit your shots, I knew I would play vantage pretty often when I basically carried my friend in duos by sniping the other team to death with her ult. Her spotting ability is super useful especially for knowing shields and legends, and her tactical is fun to use as well as being a useful relocation and escape tool that you can throw out and leave somewhere just in case

I love Vantage's kit. A cool jump, a cool gun, useful recon passive, and charming sidekick. She works great in that mid-range, and the "free" sniper lets you mix up guns in a season that is otherwise very long-range focused. No crazy full-squad mobility, no overloaded wallhacks, and no abilities that feel useless without combo-ing with a teammate.
Yeah, this has been my favorite season since 9, phenomenal launch legend with a sleek launch bundle, changes that make the game interesting if nothing else, and more players than anyone knows what to do with
honestly I think the fact the headshot multiplier on her ult being less helps it a bit more, cause you're not inclined to pop them there, just pop them anywhere. Plus the helmet protection has less effect on overall hit damage. Heck two headshots on a purple helmet target will still down anything blue armored or less.
Honestly my new fav/main, I love snipers in any game I play and being able to carry regular weapons AND have an additional sniper at all times is really nice and fun
I like her kit so far; if I was to change or add anything it would be, camouflage. Maybe her kit and a few tweaks to the sniper like, it can be setup on a bipod with a larger magazine and, she can camouflage with the laser being visible.
She’s such a satisfying legend to use honestly Edit: The only janky bit is using ult accelerants when you still have sniper ammo (I have crashed my game doing this), accidentally recalling echo when thanking someone and moving echo when trying to boost up to him but that’s just me 🤷🏽♂️
I just wished her ult tagged them for longer and made it so your allies could see they were tagged by her sniper ult. It's a solid support ult since getting tagged by the sniper makes them take more damage from everything as well.
Vantage is a weird blend of Yes and No for solo players. The mobility is crazy with the shield cancel, but her ult is meant for teams that communicate. The extra damage to targets from the tag that your team mates can do makes any gun deadly.
for me vantage may be best legend in game. great movement close to level of pathfinder and the sniper is fantastic. also the passive of showing you info and bullet drop with guns is great
I think vantage is good her ult I mainly use to put pressure on people and to make them use Shield heals her tac I very useful you can get anywhere you want and her passive is useful for both snipers and marksman she can play both aggressive and sitting back

I think she is OP , a bit like seer when he came out (seer is the only example I got since I started in season 10) she got so much in her kit: scanning people from far away (a bit like seer but for far away ?) It's almost better but you cant wallhack, a good repositionning tactical, that is even better than path or horizon depending of the situation , And a high damage ultimate. It's almost if seer, valk and rampart did a baby together, I love her, I dont want her to get nerf to the ground , but she can do so much and as good or better then the other legend that got similar abilities, she kinda the new valk for me , I hope they make her more balance , at least nerfing her ultimate would be a start!
