Your lungs are one of the only organs that will self repair as long as its not extreme. Also, 99% of the "vaping is bad" studies are funded by tobacco companies and also tested to parameters that no person would use the vape at. The studies also use the cheap knockoff gas station e-juices and not the big name brands that do QA testing of their own. But overall, I'll take not smoking over the infatismal amount of damage that vaping for 6 months caused.

Scar tissue reserves in pockets of aveoli in the lungs for years, decades, even post smoking. Pna can cause longterm tissue scarring as well. We see it all the time on lung VQ scans. The figures you quote you dont provide a scientific source. Where areyou getting this from? Its anecdotal, which doesnt hold much value.

There's also the fact that 9/10 studies will end up being what they are looking for. I'm not saying there's not risks associated with vaping. I'm saying you have to pick and choose. The lesser of 2 evils should be an easier decision. Tobacco: thousands of chemicals that would kill you on their own all rolled into a cigarette or Vape: only a handful of chemicals 90% all of which are food grade. 🤔 🤷

No same. Ive been vaping since i was a kid. Not a proud thing to say but it is what it is. I still have really good lung capacity, dont cough much (besides hittin the pen). Breaks also help a lot.

@@JohnFaulkner56 Respecticfully, vape coils do not heat as hot as a cigarette burning. Is every cig super heated? In that case yes, a cig when inhaled is super heated to 1652 F or 900 C . Meanwhile a vaping cole only reaches 200-250 C. Hence, it is a trigger word. I don't vape anymore but it irks me when they use trigger words like this.

So it happens when the vapes start running low on liquid... Use mods and juice you add yourself change out the coils often like weekly minimum and don't push the mod past 150 watts and you should be ok. but most of the lung issues are coming from weed vape pens not nic mods.

My story is almost same like yours. Smoked almost 14 years, tried nic vape, quite smoking. Now only nic vape, it way better then cigarette.

Not for me, with cigarettes I always felt like there mucous in my lungs during a workout, with vapes I still got exhausted quick but not nearly. Now I’m on nicotine gum so I’m all good.

Well yes because your body needs air to function if your lungs are damaged you will make less air for your cells making you tired and exhausted faster.

I’m not a doctor but I think it’s a good way to get of cigarettes and vapes but it isn’t very good at it because it doesn’t feel the same as smoking something and the nicotine takes longer to get to your brain. Also nicotine isn’t good for you so the best thing to do is to quit completely

That is why I am reading these comments!! I don’t smoke, but I am considering vaping with zero nicotine to entertain myself because as you said, vaping is healthier than diabetes. My only addiction is sugar and I cannot stop eating ice cream or chocolate bars or condensed milk. This is going to kill me. I used to smoke 20 Marlboro red in a day for 15 years and I used to be slim: never ate candy or any sweets. I am at my wits end. I guess you made a point and because I feel supported, I will go ahead and get my zero nicotine vape.

No. I vape, been vaping for 6 years as a means to get off and finally quit. The finally part didn't come yet. I have seen so many benefits from not smoking that the so called health risks of vaping doesn't even bother me. I can run, cycle for long distances without issues, I feel more fit and healthy and I am more fit and healthy from my last medical report and for the most part I think all the issues people have with vaping stem from sphycological issue. The comment I made was sarcastic with intent. There are alot more airborne hazardous chemicals coming from exhaust fumes, but people are OK with it and OK with breathing it because it's mostly invisible.
