All the people complaining about the edt performance must have bought fakes. Eros has always had beast mode performance. There aren't many fragrances with better performance imo
I had watched your original eros video about 20 times before I bought it (just this year lol) and it was one that blew me away. Projects like crazy and lasts a good amount of time. A 2019 batch. And it sparked an interest in trying out sweeter frags for me.
I've gotten hints of Eros within Herod, Carlisle, and Oajan. Crazy how similar fragrances can smell, until it comes to the dry down, longevity, and sillage.
sorry for the multiple comments, but this is the only fragrance that i've worn recently where i actually notice people smelling it and reacting to it in real time. it's actually disconcerting to me. i like a more subtle and masculine barbershop type fragrance that just blends in and adds to the ambience of the scene. but i am 40 years old so this really isnt my type of frag, right now. i bought it mainly for sentimental reasons, and just in case i want to wear it for fun. i got a 6.7 oz bottle so i will never run out. ever.
I get bangin' performance from my 2016 bottle, paid £30ish for a 100ml and 30ml gift pack at boots in the UK Still love it. I wear it all seasons and just use one spray in the warmer weather.
I love Versace Eros and all its bubble gum loudness (lol). Haven't tried the EDP but I did try Eros Flame and honestly wasn't a fan of it. Bought my Eros batch around 2017-18 and it still performs pretty well at least on my skin.
I got this in 2019, and I love it! It gets compliments every time I wear it. Not a fan of EDP or flame. I don’t normally like most women’s fragrances, so I’ve been experimenting with different men’s fragrances.
I never liked this one nor the flame version either. To me the Flame version smells strongly as anise. Can’t stand it. I bought the biggests bottles and ended up giving it as a gift to my son immediately. I prefer the Versace Pour Homme a million times better.
I'll be honest, I bought my Versace Eros about a month ago at a local Walmart, and I tried it out, and was pretty much blown away by it's performance, it's longetivity, and projection overall. I use about 4-5 sprays on my skin, sometimes 6, and it can last anywhere from 8 hours to 10+ hours. Of course, I also use a unscented lotion before applying the cologne to my skin. Also, I heard it's always good to look at the ingredients and make sure that it follows this lineup in this order: Alcohol, Parfum, Aqua. Not sure if there are some bottles with variations to that or not.
@@yungmimi5325 i have a older batch it gets like 10 hours... Newer ones closer to 6 but its only 40 45 bucks so who cares... Most of us own atleast 20 bottles ... Spray it
I applied this EDT with 3-4 sprays around 9AM and went for my gym workouts 6 hours later and people were complimenting how good I smelled even with their masks on 😅😏

i have a 2022 bottle, 6.7 oz. it is a projection BEAST. i took 2 sprays into a wide open store and big mistake it practically filled the store and the weather way too hot for it today. man i can see it smells nice but the power is unbearable in my opinion, at least in the hot weather, i was choking myself out and so paranoid of people smelling me too much. but yea definitely 'performs'... my problem is there seems to be a smoky vibe to it that i find particularly cloying. i am going to try to wear it again in the winter, or maybe pawn it off. And by the way i know it is a legit bottle, it passed all the tests of inspection. it's just extremely powerful. and if i wear it again i will definitely keep it on my wrist or even on my feet, far far away from my face. this is the kind of fragrance that wears YOU!!!

I’ve got a 2020 batch, and YES...it has officially been reformulated. Even the atomizer is weaker. Not sure if I got a bad batch, but this is in no way the same fragrance I got in 2018.
They destroyed the fragrance.. I'm thinking about getting the flame but I'm not sure cause I didn't really like the smell as the original eros that I just love a lot..
I bought versase eros edt in 2022, Fragrances is awesome but it has zero performance and no projection, it becomes close to skin within 45-60 mins, I have tried everything spraying on skin cloths , in almost all weather conditions, 15-20 sprays everytime but nothing worked, forget about compliments I have to ask people whether they can smell anything, they can't (if I meet them approximately after 1 hours of applying the fragrance) I have bought it from a reputed seller so very less chance of it being a counterfeit

I'm definitely grabbing the EDP at the Versace store. I've been traumatized getting counterfeits. Perhaps, I may purchase several bottles before they reformulate.
I’ve just been buying and reselling new bottles until I get a good one. Just got one in the mail today directly from Versace.com . I will see how it is when I test it out tomorrow.
For anyone who has the edp, how is it?, I don't really want to buy the edt if it has been reformulated and so I'm hoping the edp performs better? How similar is it to the edt - I've heard it is less sweet and a bit more mature?
EdP is crap! Had a 100ml bottle, official store and... toothpaste mixed with eros, 0 sweet. 2 hrs. Longevity 0 projection, poured on me and had 0 compliments 🤣 Issey Miyake (any) is better and cheaper than the EdP crap.
Hey i need advice, i have the eros edt 2019 verison and i dont know if it performs good or not (because of the reformulations rumors), its currently half full, should i buy the edp or wait till the edt runs out?

I heard that original Eros last like 2h.. So i bought 200ml bottle and Eros is still projecting like a beast..(2019 batch) And sometimes smells like lemon cake or something. And the girls trying to get your attention when they smell you is priceless 😂
Or try find versace Eros as a gift set cus Eros in this set have old batches (2k13 to 2k15) and maybe more.. my friend bought this set and he has (2k13) batch that last 12h+.... or buy(la nuit de l'homme électrique) smells very similar to Eros and last about 6-7h but but has weaker projection.
Ok I bought Azarro Wanted by Night a few weeks back. My next purchase would be this Eros EDT but I heard rumors about reformulations. Would like it to be strong as the 2012 batches but idk. What are your thoughts guys?
It's still worth it to me because of the value of history, which is more valuable to me than fleeting fashion. For the same reason Dior Eau Sauvage EDT will always be preferable to Sauvage.
Hi I tested this fragrance in the store and also the Dylan blue one,I want to buy a 200ml to be my signature fragrance but I am not Shure Wich one to buy I want to have good performance from it and not only for 2-3 h. I really loved both of them but I don't know Wich one to buy to smell great all day. I saw that there are some problem with batches on the eros one so I am a little afraid
Waste a few sprays of your 2020 Eros batch and let it sit in a dark cool drawer for about a week. You'll defo realize a change in performance.Enough of the Eros performance controversy lol. Clearly, we all need to pray more attention to Maceration 😅
Bought a 100lm bottle in 2018 and went through fast. Wore it every day. Just bought a .17mini and the performance was really weak. About to buy a 200ml bottle but want to see what you have to say 😬 I have a feeling the 200mls are less popular so the ones still in circulation may be from 2019???? Idk
I tried edt recently. Bad performance. The edp was a little better but just mediocre at best for a new release. For years now finding a cologne with great projection is like finding half a needle in a haystack

Stephen, What do you think about Cuba Paris cologne? they sell very nice affordable cologne. Cuba gold smells just like la male by jean Paul gaultier. Cuba Shadow smells just like IIcologne and they are supper very good. I feel like i'm stupid spending all that money on blue de chanel parfum from Macy's. I couldn't find the website for Cuba Paris. is it a legit company? can you talk about that company plz. I cannot believe that I was spending all that money on designer cologne. smh

So I did a blind buy and I came across Hugo Boss Unlimited. I’m interested with the Eros Flame but I’m still holding back cause I haven’t really heard of anyone complimenting it. I just wore it last night did not last all nigth its so weak. Not worth it for me stuck with a 200ml bottle now will have to re apply all night with a travel atomizer.

so I bought versace eros edt on ebay for 30$ and I don't have the box anymore but idk if its a fake or not its the 100 ml bottle so how can I tell it does have a batch code but idk how to check it can u help me out
Just bought it and I'm like ehh lol but I've been wearing happlyland studio frags the last few days. I bought it at Walmart for 38 so I wasn't breaking the bank. It smell good but I have oxford bleu lol and smells just like it. Idk about the longevity yet.
Just bought a EDT eros, I am extremely disappointed in the performance. In fact so disappointed that I had to do research comparing a fake one versus an original one to make sure I had an original product. :(
I’ve bought the Eros edt 2020 batch but I’ve not had a chance to use it as I am in a lockdown, some people say the 2020 batch doesn’t perform well and some say it does, my batch code is LA2015 if anyone could help and find out if this is performs well
@@yungmimi5325 projects very well, can send you nose blind so I guess that's why people think it doesn't last... You should get at least 6 hours don't know why you'd want anything longer.
People who think it’s weak after reformulation are crazy. I gave some to my friend n he came into my work n I smelled him pretty far away. It was surprising

@@wyro3350 i bought a 2019 bottle bro and it's not a beast anymore. don't get me wrong it is still pretty average around 6-8 hours max. either find a vintage bottle or any bottle before the 2019 formulation or just head straight to the edp one.
EdP: 0 compliments, 3 hrs. longevity after stays quite 1 inch from you. Toothpaste, dog bad breath on top of good old Eros. Too bad they reformulated it....
