Thanks for watching my little adventure in this surreal place! The touch of European influence and the cooler temperatures kinda made it feel like home to me. I highly recommend anyone in Da Nang to visit - and not just for the Golden Bridge! My favourite part was actually the cable car! Back in Bangkok now and filming some of the incredible markets around the city - keep an eye out on my channel for new videos and don't forget to SUBSCRIBE!! Sawadee Krup ~ Sam
Wonderful Video, I get so much information from your video. May I know, do children need tickets too? And from what age does a ticket require? Am so grateful if you want to answer 😊
Thank you! See below for ticket prices. - Ticket fare of Ba Na Hills for visitors: • VND750,000/adult • VND600,000/child (1m - 1.4m in height) - Ticket fare for Danang locals: • VND450,000/grown-up • VND350,000/child (1m - 1.4m in height) - Children who stand over 1.4m are subject to grown-up fare. Children below 1m in height are exempt from ticket fare.
Hi, as per your video, booking a tour is unnecessary, right? We can directly take a grab, visit the place, and buy the ticket at the counter, directly? No need to pre-book,? What are the timings? Also, you took 3 cable rides, if I am not wrong. Were all the rides included in the entry ticket?
Hi there, booking is unnecessary, unless you'd like to stay overnight at a hotel there (in which case you book the hotel and i presume the park comes with it). You'll arrive at a parking area where a shuttle bus will take your 2 mins down the road to the ticket office. You can buy tickets there on the day. Ticket prices include the price of the cable car, as many times as you'd like. Ba na hills is spread across the mountain at different levels and are accessed by smaller cable cars within the park itself. Opening times stated on the website are 8am until 10pm. If you stay over night I'm sure you can access the park 24hours. Also the last cable car down from ba na hills to the foot of the mountain is 5pm. If you miss this then I don't actually know what to do. There is a shuttle bus that runs at 9:30pm to transport night visitors down, but I'm not sure if that needs to be booked ahead of time.
I spent 3 months in Vietnam and ive been to Ba Na Hills and it is not worth it imo. Its the biggest tourist trap in the country. Fake, crowded, Unauthentic, and overpriced.
I agree that if you're after an authentic vietnamese experience then Ba Na Hills has nothing to offer. But for me, the cooler temperatures and spectacular views on the cable car alone made it worth the while. But it does feel like a giant theme park without all the rides. Still, they are continuously adding to it... Could you suggest some other places people could check out instead?
Sunny I don't know, that will differ depending on weather but temperature will be fairly cool around 18-25C probably. Will also feel a lot fresher than the humid air down below.
Same taxi driver will bring you back. Just get his number and send him a text when you're at the top of the cable car on your way down. They'll usually suggest this to you when they drop you off as they want the business.
If you're staying at the hotel, you can ask for the hotel's own private cable car. You'll take an elevator from the lobby up to this cable car, where you can bring your luggage in. I've never done this, so not 100% sure on where this elevator is, but im sure you can ask someone. Hope that's helpful.
'There is a free luggage store at Ba Na Hills. The storage facility has no size limit and is located to the right of the ticket booth. You are provided with a numbered ticket linking you to your luggage which is privately stored under camera surveillance at the ticket office. The luggage storage desk is open from 8.a.m. to 9.p.m.'
Researching Da-Nang for a trip. This is the third video I’ve watched and again it is foggy/misty. Is there a better time to visit when its actually sunny? 😅
I went in April. May and July have the highest number of sunshine hours on average - so those two months are you best bet. Other than that just check the weather report while you're there. I personally really enjoyed the clouds, it was much more atmospheric. Plus you get to see the view as you ascend in the cable car, before you enter the clouds.
Yep it's included in the price. All the rides that i saw were also free, but you'll have to pay extra for some of the carnival games. Prices increase slightly during peak times of the year (usually summer). Hope this helps!
