Tiff, when I was taken to church as a child, I was taught that I would not get to heaven if I didn't get baptized. My dad still believes this today. Even more-so than he did. I appreciate this lesson. I have been baptized but I know I was saved prior to my baptism because God's spirit gave me an inner peace that is not describable. Some churches focus solely on water baptism being the only way to heaven, as if Jesus death on the cross and resurrection isn't enough for our sins. Again, thank you.

You are not saved eternally. No one is. To claim that you are eternally saved, you play god, of which is idolatry. To claim you are saved, you presume that you have already been judged to be righteous, however you have not yet finished the race of life and you have not yet stood before God at the judgment seat. Romans 2 states that each of us will be judged for what we had done in this life. You might be converted and hold a promise of inheritance, that you may one day receive that eternal salvation, but only if you have properly been converted and live according to what is required of you.

@@Daniel12.4Ministry that was not what he was saying. Read Romans four versus 11 and following and you will see that the imputation of the righteousness of God in Christ was given to Abraham as well as new covenant believers today, versus 24:25. There is a difference between justification and sanctification. Justification is the amputation of the righteousness of Christ to our accounts. once we receive this precious unmerited gift of God through Christ, we are to continue and sanctification, which is growing and holiness being more and more conformed to the image of the Lord Jesus Christ, Romans 8-29:30. There are a lot of terms for salvation in the Bible, and these are two of them. Both are salvific or part of new covenant salvation, but you can’t get the cart before the horse. If you are not righteous by God, you cannot grow in holiness. If you are not made new by the power of the Holy Spirit, it would be pretty difficult to grow in the grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, to Peter 3:18, because if you do not know that you were accepted in the beloved, according to Ephesians one, it would be pretty hard to live that way. In other words, we are called to become who we already are. If you study Romans chapters 3 through eight, you can see that, when once we are justified, declared righteous, we will be more and more sanctified, growing and holiness, and thus demonstrating our righteousness through growing in holiness, Romans 6:22, Galatians 5:6, 22 Ephesians 2:10, Titus, 2-11:14, one Peter 2:24. two Timothy 2:19…

1 Peter 3:21 NLT And that water is a picture of baptism, which now saves you, not by removing dirt from your body, but as a response to God from a clean conscience. It is effective because of the resurrection of Jesus Christ

I agree with Brother tiff on a lot of things. We need to stay away from biblical extremes and endeavor to be in the middle of the road. It just bothers me when people act like baptism is just a symbol and doesn’t do anything. Jesus and the apostles would not have commanded it if it didn’t actually do something and wasn’t part of the package. if you were not baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, you are missing part of your Hebrew six -1: three foundation.

“Jesus replied, “I assure you, no one can enter the Kingdom of God without being born of water and the Spirit.” ‭‭John‬ ‭3‬:‭5‬ ‭NLT‬‬ I thought this would have been important to be added to the video. I am in the infancy of my faith but I would like more context on this. It would seem to make it more controversial to me. Nonetheless, we should obey Jesus command and be baptized asap. I have been watching your videos Toff and I have learned a great amount in just a few weeks. I look forward to watching more in the near future! God bless you all and stay on the path!

Thank you Evangelist Tiff, just today me and my sister had this very same conversation, well more like an argument, she was saying that we are not save, unless we are Baptiste in the name of Jesus Christ, and that baptism in the name of the Father Son and Holy Spirit, is not the true baptism, those are not the Name of Jesus Christ. She use that very text Acts 2:38 said we have to be baptist in Christ name. I try telling her that she is taking the verse out of context, but she is firm in her believe and didn't want to hear any other reason

It would be well if we would distinguish between imputed righteousness, which is by faith, and the regenerating work of the Holy Spirit, which is the believer being made new. We should also distinguish between imputed righteousness, which is a credited to us by faith and continuing on in sanctification and growing and holiness. But baptism is definitely part of the package. I believe that a supernatural work is being done in water baptism, not the water of itself, but in Obedience a work is being done, but I don’t believe that someone without the knowledge/opportunity/ability would be lost, but I also believe that so much of the church thinks that water baptism is next to nothing, and that is false as well. It is a requirement, and I would not want to stand before the Lord, having not obeyed the very first thing that I as a disciple, and commanded to do.

Thanks for sharing brother! I love you man! You are a blessing! Im praying for you and your family!!! I am watching and expecting for the rapture/event to happen on Saturday, April 16th 2022 during Passover and the full pink moon, it will also be Resurrection Sunday/Easter on April 17th in the eastern side of the world. Right now Putin's heart is being hardened from all the hate from everyone on earth, he is like a modern day Pharaoh, this parallel's with the story of Passover where the Pharaoh's heart was hardened. I heard a few years ago that Russia will be the one to start global nuclear war. A few brothers and sisters have had dreams of Passover and rapture dreams with a pink moon. Sister Darla from "God's gifts" YT channel had a dream that "It was all over during Passover" and she said she had a dream where she woke up yelling "The 16th!!". I had a dream last year where I saw the date of the rapture engraved in a cement tombstone in Hebrew writing and all I could understand and remember was that the end date was the 16th of a month! And a brother from "The unleashing" YT channel had a dream that the rapture happened on a Saturday! I believe that 2022 (Up until May 14th 2022) is the year of the rapture because Israel is turning 74 years old on May 14th and the rapture must happen before then in order for the Fig Tree prophecy to be correct. And I believe God is waiting until the very last moment which is the last full moon before May 14th 2022. On my channel there WAS a video of a sister that had a very detailed vision of the rapture/event (RU-vid deleted it), she says that the rapture/event will be a bright white light lasting a few minutes and we will be transformed into our heavenly glorified bodies and brought up to heaven. I give full glory to God/Jesus for this comment because I have been praying everyday for God/Jesus to reveal this information to me so that I can share it with everyone. "If God/Jesus is everything, then we must be inside God/Jesus, and God/Jesus must be inside us" We will not experience any pain during the rapture/event. See you in heaven! Pray and repent of your sins to God/Jesus, not to be saved, but to show respect to God/Jesus and strengthen your relationship. God/Jesus loves everyone of you like as if you were the only person in the entire universe! Share this message with your family and friends! God bless you and your family!

while baptism alone doesn't save anyone, it is apart of the initial process of becoming a child of GOD. Is one saved without having the Holy Spirit? (Rom.8:9) Does faith without repentance brings salvation? Or vice versa? Repentance, Water baptism (immersion) in the name of JESUS CHRIST, being filled with Holy Spirit and total faith in the Lord JESUS brings salvation. What I have a great challenge with is you haven't disected Matthew 28:19, JESUS's great commission; Luke 24:47; Acts 16:27-33. The disciples that were baptized unto John's baptism, why were they re- baptized in the name of the Lord JESUS CHRIST or let alone, baptized in the first place (Acts 19:1-6) ? Why was JESUS himself baptized (Matt 3:13-16)? If baptism isn't necessary or apart of receiving salvation, why did it came about in the first place? I agree that if a person is baptized and has not repented and is faithless, and has not confessed their sins, salvation eludes them but if they repent, confess their sins, have faith towards GOD water baptism is necessary to complete that initial process of becoming a Christian. Is Romans 6:1-6 in favour of baptism or against baptism? What does 1 Peter 3:20-21 means? My brother I learn as I go along, hence my afore questions are not meant to be rhetorical. I believe while JESUS was on earth He did demonstrate especially to the Pharisees, Scribes and Saducees his position as being GOD manifested flesh. He taught them the true meaning of for example the Sabbath but they did not grasp His teaching, they said he blasphemed for healing a man and for claiming to have the power remit sin. He did save the thief on the cross, but after He died and was buried and subsequently resurrected and was ascending to Heaven He gave his desciples what we call the great commission and that commission has baptism being apart of it. Whether it comes first or last or in the middle of the process.

John's baptism was the baptism of repentance according to scripture. 1 Peter 3:21 and this water symbolizes baptism that now saves you also not the removal of dirt from the body but the pledge of a clear conscience toward God. It saves you by the resurrection of Jesus christ, who has gone into heaven and is at God's right hand with angels, authorities and powers in submission to him. Not the removal of dirt from the body is talking about water. Baptism of water can only clean the dirt from your flesh and it cannot save you in anyway. We are pledge of a clear conscience toward God by being baptized in the spirit my friend.

Paul writes to Timothy, "from childhood you have known the Scriptures which are able to make you wise to salvation. Those Scriptures were what we call the old testament. In the beginning of Israel being saved out of Egypt, we can read what happened from Exodus 3 -14. Moses meets with God on a mountain. God CALLS, and SENDS Moses to Egypt. Moses PREACHES to the leaders of Israel in Egypt, and Pharaoh. The people BELIEVE the message. The people call on the name of the Lord. The people are SAVED These are the steps that Paul speaks about in Romans 10. In Exodus 14 is the account of Israel being led to and through the RED SEA. it is there they call upon Moses who calls upon God. It isvhere that God works salvation for Israel. It is here where it is recorded that God said, And God SAVED Israel the day. See Exodus 14:13, and 30. This event is what Paul says is Israel's baptism unto Moses. 1 Cor 10:1-4. We are not baptised unto Moses, we are baptised into Christ... Romans 6:3-5.... into His death, burial ans raised to newness of Life. This picture in Exodus 14 is very descriptive of our own water baptism. Salvation is God's work. And it is God who worked salvation for Israel when they went through the Red Sea. This is a precedent for our understanding of NT practice and teaching.

What if someone was born sick and couldnt get into water due to health devices or was physically impaired and held in the iron lung health machine or what if someone older in age was in the same position of being sick and couldnt get baptized by water to be saved would they go to hell?.... Couldnt they be saved by being baptized by the spirit by calling on the lord to save them hence making this Bible verse true For God so loved the world he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believeth on him will not perish but have everlasting life. We are saved by Grace through faith and not of ourselves it is a gift from God and not of works least any man should boast..

I absolutely positively do not believe that baptism is just a symbol as many evangelicals teach today. Whether people like it or not, there are imperatives about water baptism in the scripture and Jesus and his apostles did not command it just for the fun of it. It does things, it doesn’t mean you have to believe that people go to hell because they did not yet get baptized, and some tragedy happened since Abraham believe God, and it was counted to him for righteousness before he did anything other than believe. That also does not alleviate the necessity of New Testament circumcision And incorporation into the body of the Lord Jesus Christ through water and spirit baptism. Baptism is part of believing. Believing is not mirror mental ascent, but is of the heart. With the heart, man believes under righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. What a lot of people do not realize is that even Romans 10 could be alluding to baptism, since that was the public confession of faith in New Testament times so baptism in the name of the Lord Jesus is not insignificant. Many scholars believe that John 3:5, and Titus 3:5 both referred to water baptism. We know that baptism has to do with the remission/washing away of our sins, biblically, act 2:38, 22:16. it is a burial, Roman 6-3:6, Colossians 2-11:12. It is a part of our coming into Christ, Galatians 3:27. It is our new covenant circumcision, whereby we give the sign and seal of our faith, Romans 4:11, Colossians 2-11:12, and is a part of the salvation package, one Peter 3-20: 21. Act 2:38 is the full Package, and we need to preach and teach act to: 38 and if possible, endeavor to have People, get the whole Peter package in the same day, if possible, and not splitting them up over days, weeks, months, or even years. It’s not a matter of do we have to, but we get to, and if one is willfully, neglectful or rebellious concerning baptism, or the Holy Ghost infilling, that’s scary.

Baptism is not a work of the law, but a work of faith in Obedience. What about the Ethiopian Unick in act 8-305:39? Philip was preaching the gospel to him from what he was reading in Isaiah 53. I don’t know how in the world he got water baptism out of that? But we can infer that Philip said something to him about it, because he asked what would hinder him from being baptized when they came upon a body of water. So obviously baptism has something to do with it. I do not believe that it provides initial justification, but I definitely believe that it is part of the package, and if it all possible, it needs to be done as quickly as possible after repenting and believing. It is one thing to be forgiven. It is another thing to be washed and rid of the old man to have it buried so that we can rise to walk in newness of life. I believe we should expect deliverance when people are baptized in the name of Jesus Christ. If they have demons they can be delivered.

Sir in saying that there is no record of the apostles having received water baptism, is a lie. Apostle Paul was baptized by Ananias for the washing away of his sins- Acts 22:16. Apostle Peter said they were baptized- Acts 10:47.
@ryandawson2877
@ryandawson2877 Месяц назад
The point that Paul was making in one Corinthians one was not that baptism does nothing. His point was that he did not want people looking to him as their source, because he baptized them, or didn’t baptize them. They were not baptized in the name of Paul, but in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, who was crucified for them, one Corinthians one - 12:13, so one Corinthians one should not be used to teach, the baptism is not efficacious when done in repentance and faith. There are two extremes in the body of Christ, and both of them are wrong. One extreme as that water baptism does everything and you cannot possibly go to heaven without being baptized in water. The other biblical extreme is that baptism does nothing and is only symbolic, so we have baptisms once a year and you should sign up for it and it’s really no big deal. Both are extreme and both are error.

Where does it say submerged in water? it says water and spirit does it not? Water is the word and the word is the double edged sword that cuts the sin. The word is also God. Ephesians 5:26 That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word. That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle or any such thing, but that it should be holy and without blemish. Ephesians 5:27

In the prayer, turn from sin and turn to Christ. For remission and forgiveness. If you trust in the gospel as Paul preached it, salvation is not of works lest any man should boast. It is all of Christ's doing. If you have to turn from sin to be saved you will never be saved by the gospel of grace apart from works. Right out of the gate you are working and not Christ. You believe and let Christ work in you, lest there is something to boast about. He wants you saved so much that if you fall into sin and unbelief because you can not overcome your nasty self, you are still saved. 2 Tim 2 [7] Consider what I say; and the Lord give thee understanding in all things. [8] Remember that Jesus Christ of the seed of David was raised from the dead according to my gospel: [9] Wherein I suffer trouble, as an evil doer, even unto bonds; but the word of God is not bound. [10] Therefore I endure all things for the elect's sakes, that they may also obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory. [11] It is a faithful saying: For if we be dead with him, we shall also live with him: [12] If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us: [13] If we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself. [14] Of these things put them in remembrance, charging them before the Lord that they strive not about words to no profit, but to the subverting of the hearers. [15] Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. [13] If we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself. - There is a salvation process - Steps are out of order but Eph.1 [13] In whom ye also trusted (step 2), after that ye heard the word of truth(step), the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, (step 3) ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, There is not mention of baptism with water or the baptism with the Holy Ghost. Those were for Jews not you's.

Jesus' command was to preach repentance and Remission of sins in His name among all nations beginning in Jerusalem. Acts 2:38 is the fulfillment. Acts 2:38 is not talking about water baptism for salvation its talking about the baptism of the spirit. Paul was never baptized in water. John the baptist was never baptized in water. John's baptism was the baptism of repentance according to scripture. None of the apostles were baptized in water. Do you even know why Jesus was baptized in water by John? Jesus had no sin and since you believe that water baptism saves you then why did Jesus get baptized in water?

@@tractorman1946 - The “oneness” error is very easily understood, you just refuse to see it. If Peter, on the day of Pentecost, received a “Baptism Revelation”, which the Jesus only proponents claim is in the name of Jesus Christ, why are there variations found in Scripture? You see, there is no fixed wording to follow, and there is no regular or prescribed usage of certain or exact words. So the question has to be asked, should we baptize in the name of Jesus Christ, or in Christ Jesus, or in the Lord, or in the Lord Jesus, or in the Lord Jesus Christ? Which one is correct? Was Peter right? Or Philip? Or Paul? If you are a stickler for the exact words of scripture, and that everybody use the identical words of the apostles, which should we use?

They will never be able to show you because they are blind and could care less about truth. In Matthew 28 Jesus is talking to his disciples whom he picked personally and taught personally. And he commanded them to GO and teach all nations baptizing them in THE NAME of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost. He never said "repeat after me ". And for some strange reason the disciples went and baptized everywhere in the name of Jesus. Now either Jesus is a liar, or the disciples were so stupid they couldn't understand 🙄 the command...I'm going with ignorant false preachers.. And since the disciples wrote the New Testament, then it must be all wrong because they were too stupid to comprehend a simple command, let alone write the whole New Testament. There is going to be a lot os shocked and sad people very soon, when they find out they were misled and lied to by false teachers and preachers. The blind lead the blind.

Which "baptism" is a part of the salvation process for New Covenant believers? What did Peter say below? Act 11:15 And as I began to speak, the Holy Ghost fell on them, as on us at the beginning. Act 11:16 Then remembered I the word of the Lord, how that he said, John indeed baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost. Based on Luke 3:16, and John 1:33, and Acts 11:15-16, the most important thing about the word "baptize" in the New Testament has nothing to do with water. The Holy Spirit is the master teacher promised to New Covenant believers in Jeremiah 31:34, and John 14:26, and is found fulfilled in Ephesians 1:13, and 1 John 2:27. Unfortunately, many modern Christians see water when they read the word "baptize" in the text. Based on the above, what is the one baptism of our faith found in the passage below? How many times is the word "Spirit" found in the passage, and how many times is the word "water" found in the passage? Eph 4:1 I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called, Eph 4:2 With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love; Eph 4:3 Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. Eph 4:4 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; Eph 4:5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism, “baptize” KJV Mat_3:11 I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire: Mar_1:4 John did baptize in the wilderness, and preach the baptism of repentance for the remission of sins. Mar_1:8 I indeed have baptized you with water: but he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost. Luk_3:16 John answered, saying unto them all, I indeed baptize you with water; but one mightier than I cometh, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to unloose: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost and with fire: Joh_1:26 John answered them, saying, I baptize with water: but there standeth one among you, whom ye know not; Joh_1:33 And I knew him not: but he that sent me to baptize with water, the same said unto me, Upon whom thou shalt see the Spirit descending, and remaining on him, the same is he which baptizeth with the Holy Ghost. 1Co_1:17 For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect.

I appreciated this teaching. However, growing up under certain dogma, I noticed the absence of one scripture. I Peter 3:21 context Noah's family being saved from the flood... "Corresponding to that, baptism now saves you-not the removal of dirt from the flesh, but an appeal to God for a good conscience-through the resurrection of Jesus Christ" This seems to be in conflict with your position that baptism is not necessary for salvation. In addition, in every case given in scripture converts were immediately "that same hour" baptized. Even the Ethiopian exhibited a sense of urgency when he asked "here is water, what doth hinder me..." Could you please help me better understand your conclusion that teaching baptism is necessary for salvation is error.

Sir by starting with Acts 2:38 to prove that water baptism is not part of the God's plan of salvation, is a poor Hermeneutics. You should have started from the command of Jesus in Luke 24:45-47 were you would know where Peter got his message- from Jesus. The command was to preach repent

Sir do you know how to rightfully divide the word do you teach right division? Because not all scripture agrees with all other scripture because it was written under the law and then the other scripture was written under grace some applies and some agrees but some obviously does not agree because it is written for a different crowd in a different age or dispensation for example we are not walking with Christ under the law of Moses and they went only to the house of Israel and were told to not go to the house of the Gentile. but now! in the age of Grace after the death burial and Resurrection, we are told to go to all people everywhere and teach the gospel of grace by faith in the death burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ! this is just an example of how we must rightfully divide the word! we have a Heavenly home and restored Israel have a Earth ly,Home the fulfilled promises to Abraham Isaac and Jacob.... but we the body of Christ have a Heavenly home that's not the same !! what's is different is not the same.

Barnabas (circa 75 AD) "Blessed are they who place their trust in the cross and descend down into the water... We indeed descend into the water full of sins and defilement, however we come up, bearing fruit in our heart, having the fear of God and trust in Jesus in our spirit." Hermas (circa 110 AD) "Before a man bears the name of the Son of God, he is dead. But when he receives the seal, he lays aside his deadness and obtains life. The seal then is the water. They descend into the water dead, and they rise alive." Justin Martyr circa - (circa -160 AD) "But there is no other way than this to become acquainted with Christ; We must be washed in the fountain spoken of by Isaiah for the remission of our sins, and for the remainder of our lives we must live sinless lives." Iranaeus (circa 180 AD) "But there are some Gnostics who assert that it is unnecessary to bring people to the water. Rather they mix oil and water together, and they place this mixture on the heads of those that are to be initiated. .. This they maintain to be the redemption... But there are other heretics that reject all of these practices and maintain that the mystery of the unspeakable should not be performed by visable and corruptible creatures. They claim that the knowledge of the power of God is itself perfect redemption." Tertullian (circa 198 AD) "(Unless a man is born of water and of Spirit, he can not enter into the kingdom of Heaven.) {Quoted from John 3:3} These words have tied faith to the necessity of water baptism, and accordingly, all those that became believers were thus baptized. It was also this way with Paul, that when he believed, he was baptized." Cyprian (circa 250 AD) "One is not re-born by the imposition of hands when they receive the Holy Spirit; Rather it is through water baptism. Therefore, having thoroughly cleansed, he may receive the Holy Spirit." Archelaus (circa 320 AD) " If he (Jesus) was not been baptized in water, neither are any of us baptized. Yet, if there is no baptism, neither will there be the remission of sins. Rather, every man will die in their sins." Apostolic Constitutions (circa 390 AD) "He who, out of contempt will not be baptized in water, he will be condemned as an unbeliever. He will be reproached as ungrateful and foolish. For the Lord says, unless a man is born of water and spirit, he will not enter the kingdom of heaven. (Quoted from John 3:3) and again he said, He who believes and is baptized shall be saved. (Quoted from Mark 16:16)" Do you still not believe?

@@christianpulido8360 Since when does "water" not mean "water"? Only when the false teachers convince you that it doesn't! So according to you, what does Acts 2:38 refer to? Is it possible that all of the Christian teachers and Leaders of the first few centuries AD apparently got it wrong, and you and your teachers are so into the spirit that you have finally got it right? Acts 20:29-30 "For I know this; That after my death, grievous wolves will enter in among you that will not care for the people of God. @@christianpulido8360 Are you a sinner? Romans 6:1-2 "What then can be said? Shall we (after conversion) continue to commit sin so that the grace of God may be multiplied? (1 John 3:9; Jeremiah 32:23; Psalms 119:1-3) No, it is forbidden! How can we who have died to sin still continue in it?" The reason you are still a sinner is because you were never cleansed from your sins (Acts 2:38 - for the remission of your sins). John 8:32-36 "... and you will know the truth and the truth shall set you free. Then they said, we are of Abraham’s seed and no one has ever held us as slaves! How is it that you can say that we will be made free? And Jesus said, I tell you the truth, whoever commits sin (defiance - Numbers 15:30) is a slave to sin. (Matthew 18:2-10; 1 John 3:8; 5:16-18; Romans 6:22) But the slave will not abide in the house (of God) forever, but the son shall live forever; (Galatians 4:22-26) But he that the son sets free is completely set free! (Matthew 26:28; 1 John 3:3-10; Acts 2:38; Romans 6:16; Matthew 18:3-4)" When you first committed sin, you became the slave to sin. If you have not been baptized, or if you were baptized improperly or for the wrong reasons, you have not been cleansed. This is why you can not stop committing sin. You are a slave to sin. This is why you are a sinner. But when Christ cleanses you of your past sins through water baptism done properly and for the right reasons, you start life with a clean slate, no longer a slave to sin. You are meant to go and sin no more. Of course you will do things that are wrong by ignorance, but you are to never choose to do what is known to be wrong ever again. If you do, that is blasphemy of the holy spirit. John 14:15 "If you love me, keep my instructions." 1 John 5:16-18 "If anyone becomes aware of his brother having committed a sin not unto death (Numbers 15:28-31 - unaware sin), they shall ask God for forgiveness and God will give life unto those that commit a sin not unto death. There is a sin that is unto death, for such, I do not say that you should pray for it! (Numbers 15:28-31; James 5:20, Hebrews 10:26-29; Matthew 18:15; Psalm 19:12-13) All wickedness is sin, but there is a type of sin not unto death (unaware sin - Psalm 32:2). We know that whoever is regenerated of God does not choose to commit sin, because he that is regenerated by God guards himself and the devil does not corrupt him. (1 John 3:3; 1 Corinthians 10:13; Romans 6:16; Psalm 19:12-13)" If you are yet unconvinced, you do not want the truth and you will die in your sins.

@@christianpulido8360 Ok. If Acts 2:38 is only speaking of baptism of the holy spirit, then I have two questions for you to answer: Acts 2:38 "Brothers, what must we do to be saved? And Peter said to them, everyone must have godly sorrow that brings forth true reformation unto the deliverer (Repent - G-3341 + G-2229 + G-4991) and be baptized unto God (G-907 + G-2320) in the name of Jesus Christ (Yehowshuwa =Yehovah salvation = H-3068 + H-3467) for the pardon of your sins, and you shall receive the gift of the holy spirit. " Peter gives them two instructions and tells them if they do these two things, they shall receive the holy spirit. First question: If Peter commands them to repent and be baptized, how can you go and be baptized by the Holy Spirit? Show me some scripture that explains how one is to go and be baptized by the Holy Spirit! Can a man command the spirit of God to baptize him? If the command to be baptized is speaking of the holy spirit baptism, the scripture actually means and should read this way: {And Peter said to them, repent ye therefore and be baptized into the holy spirit in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of your sins, and you shall receive the holy spirit.} Second question: How does that make logical sense? How can they be commanded to be baptized by the holy spirit to receive the holy spirit? Do you not know that the Holy Spirit can only enter into a man AFTER he has been cleansed of his sins?

So I have 2 main miffs about this message. One is you dont differenciate that the gospels were pre new covenant books. You say we are saved by the blood of Christ, but His blood wasnt shed except in the very end of the gospels. Then you use only the gospels to prove you dont need to be baptized to be saved. Thats bad. Secondly, the doctrine regarding baptism couldnt be laid out more clearly than Rom 6 does. We are baptized in order to get power over the old man. So, we are saved from our sins through the blood of Jesus, that we know. But we are saved from the tyranny of the old man through water baptism. This begs more explanation but in short, thats it. Read Rom 6 esp. V6. Most messages on baptism dont even mention Rom 6, much less explain it. Read Watchman Nee's book The Normal Christian Life.

REPENTANCE is a MUST for SALVATION. YESHUA commanded: "REPENT or PERISH". He di NOT specify BAPTISM as the MUST "ingredient for Salvation; instead the Words of YAHWEH tells us that : "SINNERS ARE SAVED BY THE GRACE OF YAHWEH THROUGH FAITH IN YESHUA HAMASHIACH" and there's NO mention of BAPTISM! What IF I was in the middle of a desert and I needed WATER and a PASTOR to be baptised in order to be SAVED otherwise YAHWEH will judged me and CAST me into HELL because I died UNBAPTISED even though I repented of my SINS and BELIEVE in His Son YESHUA HAMASHIACH! I think WATER baptism is necessary s the outward proof of one's ACCEPTANCE of YESHUA as one's PERSONAL SAVIOUR, but NOT a MUST that in the absence thereof (of water baptism), the soul DEFINITELY goes to HELL despite REPENTING one's sins and BELIEF in the Son of YAHWEH as one's PERSONAL Saviour. So, pastor TIFF..., I disagree with you in this case!! However, I must admit that pastor Tiff's explanation on the requirement of Baptism as a proof of true Salvation is quite confusing as his earlier explanation seemed to support the requirement.

Unbelievable I hope that none listen and believe this message! Jesus said we must be born again. He said if we are not born of WATER and of the SPIRIT we CANNOT enter into the kingdom of God. Jesus said that REPENTANCE and REMISSION of sin should be preached in HIS NAME among all nations beginning at Jerusalem so Peter stood in Jerusalem and said REPENT and be BAPTIZED everyone one of you in the NAME OF JESUS CHRIST for the REMISSION of sin and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. Repenting and being baptized in water in the NAME OF JESUS CHRIST is for the remission of sin/the blood of the Lamb. You cannot be washed in the blood of the Lamb without being baptized in water in the name of Jesus Christ! The Bible says now why tarriest thou? Arise and be BAPTIZED and WASH away thy sins calling on the NAME of the LORD. REVELATION 7 these are they who have come out of great tribulation and have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

"Is Water Baptism Required For Salvation?" Wow Tiff, kind Sir...it depends on "liquid" water and/or "Spiritual"water...So, I believe... IF it's liquid water; ABSOLUTELY NOT!. But if it's "Spiritual water; ABSOLUTELY YES! Oh indeed. Let's look at 3 verses in the NT... Matthew 3:11 I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Spirit, and with fire: John 4:13 Jesus answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again: John 4:14 But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life. and one more... John 3:5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. Now verses Mathew 3:11 and John 4:13 and 14 corroborates each other. But John 3:5 does not. Why? Ok: for years; I could not corroborate that verse. But I felt it NEEDED to! Then a very smart person told me; that in the Greek language; "conjunctions" are NOT used like it is in the English language. And I jumped out of my skin. And I yelled, "I SEE it now". So... Just remove the conjunction "and". Now read it. For it plainly says; same as the other verses; where it tells us that Spiritual water MUST be done to be saved. But Liquid water; was nothing but to cleanse us. And that is why John the "Baptist" said what he did. And Jesus said to the Samaritan "Lady" at the Well. And this then; solves many problems; like this: Assume that an atheist, all of his life; finally on his last breath; he cried out to Jesus; saying please save me. And instantly he died. Now tell me that a quintessential loving God like Jesus; would say on "Judgment Day"; "Sorry Sir; you had to have liquid water to get saved"! And then Jesus casts the atheist into hell. Yeah Right! Not to mention the thief on the cross. When did he ever get Liquid Baptized? Huh? Thus, Jesus made it Spiritual Water; that can happen in a micro second; in ANY situation; any time and place. Praise Jesus' Holy Name. End of Story and I rest me case... ...In any case kind Sir, Please Pray OFTEN and Praise Jesus OFTEN; for He is the ONLY true "God Almighty"; there will ever have been. And may Jesus bless you and yours always. AMEN!
