ngl going singleplayer instead of killing the game that seemed "dead" was a great idea for them, cause the recent steam reviews has been mostly positive. so the game healed.
True! And from what I've seen they are still updating it since on steam it has the "early access" label. Who knows, maybe in 1 year this game will be even better than it is now.
@@_Super_Dad_Anthem is a bad example, the hate it got was super deserved The game had/has numerous gamebreaking bugs. It hasn't been finished, and I'm not talking about missing side content but the MAIN story line was just left undone. And a massive problem was it would kill consoles. Often enough people would boot up Anthem, play it, and their consoles would die
Honestly I am glad they made it a singleplayer game. always felt like this game had to be singleplayer or something similar to Remnant and I believe that's what it is rn
That's a good perspective! Yeah, this game feels a lot like Remnant but instead of randomly generated maps, you have the same mechanic but with dungeons.
game's underrated. I also did buy the cheapest founders pack I guess it was around 15$ or so and I don't regret anything. I am actually glad that they didnt change much so I can just pick it up again too bad my progress was lost loool
As someone who knew nothing of the game before it came out as an MMO and was immensely sad to see it wasn't a single-player or Inkbound-like cooperative PvE game... I can only say I love what they've done with it. 5-star Venomess with 5-star Nightshade so far, and I'm working on maxing out everything. I absolutely love this game, and I can't recommend it enough. On the topic of difficulty scaling rewards, I'm actually happier this way. Otherwise, what happens is that the default way to play is at max difficulty. Personally, I messed around with the difficulty settings and couldn't really notice a difference, so I'd just recommend people go for Heroic right away :)
Thank you for the detailed comment! I am glad you enjoy this new version of the game. I personally still would have liked the difficulty scaling rewards to be real, but maybe lock the higher difficulties behind some progression levels or story so they're not accessible from the start.
while i was excited for the game to be an MMO, i could see where it was going. the "open world" was not really open and the "hero" based character selection felt really limiting for an MMO.
Oh totally, I can understand where you're coming from. Before the Echoes update, the game was very Warframe-like, similar to how The first Descendant is today. Yet I believe that it's better to make the game singleplayer if needed rather than completely canceling it.
💯 Single Player Games are up! Wayfinder is much better now!!!Months ago I bought the Most expensive founder pack on Ps5 & the Echoes update was soo good I Just bought it on steam too to enjoy it with my PC Friends. ❤️❤❤
That would be great but the game should also have crossplay soon so it's going to be a nice experience for all platforms since you can play with anyone you want, literally.
It's a great experience. I always wish for a game with MMO experience but playable offline and now there is Wayfinder. There is coop and LFG which is great as well. Lot of stuff supposed to be in the premium store now free and earnable in game, which is great.
I’ve been recently trying to get into this because I love the art style. I do wish we could have created our characters for the specific classes, but still fun nevertheless. 😄👍🏻
I can understand that but since this works the same as Warframe/ The First Descendant, we have our own "heroes" to level up and customize. You can unlock outfits through gameplay though!
I really hope they consider bringing back the ability to see other players in the hub and open world similar to other arpg's especially diablo 4. If anything atleast let us see other players in the hubs if not both hins and open world
Yes. This setting makes it so every mob on every map will always be at least your level, never lower, while higher level mobs will keep their level until you reach it as well.
when I saw it came from the same creators of Battle Chases, Ruin King, I decided to pick this game. I do hope this game would pass at least 5 seasons / huge updates.
Hi Zeth...i'm a founder too (over 2000 hours)...lovely video to a game that i really loved... But it kinda died for me now. Maybe one day i will play it again. It hurts...i don't know Q_Q.. FoxyDaddy out :)
Hey there fellow founder! I can see why you might believe that the game died for you, I kind of feel the same way but who knows what future updates might bring, right?
In my personal experience single player mmos dont last vary long and considering they switch it midway is not good because now they really dont have any content to carry it being a single player game unfortunately i wont be surprised if they shut it down in a year or 2 hell i looked on twitch and the game had 1 viewer so its not looking to promising witch really sucks because the game had potential and it feels like its a waste
This game cant shut down, it doesnt run on servers as it is not an MMO anymore. Its like Elden Ring or the Remnant games, they will be available forever.
Made by the same studio that made popular games….. Then proceeded to name two games I’ve never heard of. I am admittedly a somewhat casual gamer, not some hipster indie game player so I’m sure I’ll get roasted in the comments by people that live and breathe those two games I’ve never heard of.
Haha, no. I don't think anyone has something to say, especially when it comes to never playing a specific game. You know, it's never too late to play them! Add Darksiders Genesis to the list too (also made by them).
Surely you’re not talking about warframe? I’m not even a player of that game but I thought it was well known in the gaming community.. maybe you’re a bit less than casual lol
I can understand why it would make you dislike the game, but this season pass is permanent, never goes away. You can take all the time in the world with it! And it comes with the game so no separate purchase needed.
Yes, it has a co-op option. You can make your game public and others will join or you can join random people like I did in the video. Or well, if you have friends, you can create your own friends-only game.
