Lee, I know you are not a gambler, but I recommend try your luck at one zero European roulette at Crockfords inside Resort World.. Just follow the pattern on the display screen! I won $2,000 last year while staying at Hilton there for a week.

Welfare check is normal for rooms not cleaned daily because working as security found people deceased or the rooms trashed. Either way it is the poor cleaners who has the surprise. And with that comes with many stories about hotel rooms which would scare most from staying in a hotel and bed bugs is the least of the problems.

I went about 5 years ago. Only went on the strip once. Stayed around our hotel, the strat and ate in local mexican and Venezuelan restaurants the area was less shit that the strip. Got a bus to freemont st then a cab back. No probs.

I’m a Accor club member which means meals are half price. We live a few minutes walk from an Accor Hotel so makes it very reasonable for meals including the buffet when you cannot be bothered cooking.

Why in usa do you have to give a tip off 20% to a server who isn’t there it’s a buffet lol

I worked on a cruise ship and we had the same policy on checking rooms. The other reason is to check that you aren't making bombs or stuff like that. It may seem weird but we had that training to check room that weren't allowing cleaning or stuff like that after a couple days. And they weren't doing it because it never happened before. 100% they have the same rules there.

I was in nyc and Lindt chocolate was behind a plastic locked door. Everything is locked in tourist areas now. However ice cream wasn’t and it was half melted lol

When we stayed at the cosmopolitan. We got the wicked spoon for free for 6 days. Food was fab.

I’m glad you did a buffet video,been wondering what they are like there. Been to several casino buffets in the southeast US years ago and the key to getting your money’s worth is to avoid filing side items and go for the main course foods like crab,lobster,shrimp and the quality meats. Buffets seem to have gotten expensive now😮

When any of my friends come out from the auld homeland to visit me, I always take them to Vegas for a week, and yes they all come down with a cold. Caused by going from heat to air conditioned buildings back to heat, on and on and on. Just big Jessies.

$47 is pretty steep for a breakfast buffer.

Your cold symptoms are caused by the poor air filtration in the hotel/motel rooms in America. Whenever I stay, I get a room that has windows that open. Take a fan to move air and turn off the room ac. America's standards are very poor when it comes to motel air quality.

Basically the punters are paying a big percentage of the staffs wages.

Service charge and tipping for a serve yourself buffet is a bit rich! Found America to be stupidly expensive when I went last year, ruined it a bit.

🎻 Great video I remember I went for brunch buffet in Caesars palace on the 3rd of October 1980 the day after I saw the Holmes V Ali fight, in a old fashioned room with individual booths with red velvet seating the venue was also used for live concerts Frank Sinatra and all the greats have performed in that room. I dont like people in my hotel room either. I dont change my sheets daily at home so why at a hotel? At one stay they actually replaced my wifes perfume in the bottle with cheap perfume

Buffets best maybe the Wynn lovely place and good food. Close 2nd Main Street Station (value for money). Biggest let down the Bellagio (all frills and no draws). But we sort of got sick of them after a few visits and stuck to Restaurants. Reason you tend to stuff yourself silly and never found one with a decent atmosphere. Thats why i said the Wynn was maybe the best we found. Best night we ever had was Mothers Day at Main Street Buffet. Great atmosphere full of normal folk and entire families enjoying themselves.

Mac it’s not man flu it’s Air Con and desert heat deadly combination . You need a mobile fridge in your room for supermarket bottled water .Stay hydrated always

The Wicked Spoon was superb for the evening buffet, which for some reason, they have stopped. It was always 2-4-1, with enough points on the players card and $15.00 for unlimited wine and beer.

We never want our room made up because we like our mess! But we always leave it near spotless when we leave. We just don't want peeps around our laptops etc. And besides, less work for the staff!

Best way to get your money's worth is go for the big ticket items like seafood & riast meats etc. Ive not been to Vegas since 2019 and remember they did away with a lot if casino buffets during COVID. Day late catch up. Another buffet video. Getting up to reach the said buffet, could easily kill a lesser man🫡😵‍💫🥴so for that. Well done. Round one. Only winner. The ham, brilliant thick cut. Just needed a brace of fried eggs 😋😋👏👌Have to say, I really like the layout of this restaurant. Has a homely atmosphere and sort of laid back vibe. Loved the streaky bacon, cooked to perfection. Potato wedges (rather than roast) can't beat a British Bangers. Have never had a dessert in a buffet 😒just can't get the brain around that. Would have tried maybe one or two savoury items. I was last in LV in 2006, but the Riviera was my favorite buffet. Not sure it is still, as things change quickly in the food industry.

Looked lovely with plenty of choice but a tad expensive for a buffet.

Try the Luxor Buffer if they still have it. I remember it being pretty good when I went to Vegas for my first and last time back in 2003.

Damn I must be getting old been there 6 times the last time I was in Vegas about 14 years ago I complained about 12 dollar buffets,still the greatest entertainment capital in the world ,going to have to win the lottery before I ever see it again ,btw your videos are brilliant ,keep it up

13:25 The tastiest mac 'n cheese is Heinz Macaroni Cheese in the large can. Baked in the oven and sprinkled with breadcrumbs, you can't beat it.

Wicked Spoon is not one of the cheapest buffets, it's on the more expensive side.

The room checks are mandatory because of what happened in Mandalay Bay I believe…if your paying damn resort fees get every available resource bud

I have never been to a buffet in Vegas that has a time limit. I would not stay all day but several hours in my mind is reasonable.

We always make it a point to visit the Wicked Spoon buffet at least twice during our visits. They don't have a huge selection, but what they do have is great. Staff is very welcoming and attentive and the buffet is always clean.
