Is worth 14lakhs? || Better than POLO? || The pro's about the Hyundai i20 Nline || Part 2 of 2 

Proud owner of the Hyundai i20 nline n8 dct recently purchased on my birthday 21-08-2022 and I am extremely happy with my purchase

The only part where i disagree is on the imt. IMT is much better than the dct on the i20 nline as it can hold on to gears, gives you full control, easy when overtaking and on hills as well much more fun. This dct on the nline is good for calm driving as the gearbox is tuned for efficiency. The dct upshifts so fast and the downshifts when on full throttle are not quick. Also on hills, the dct breaks momentum of the car as it upshifts and you dont get a downshift as and when needed. The paddle shifters gives you un upshift/downshift at only certain rpm/speeds. This may sound counterintuitive but the fact is on this i20 nline if you want to drive in a sporty way go for ths imt and if you want to drive calm, go for dct as the shifts are smooth. DCT is also performs better in flat out acceleration

My i20 N line had a breakdown last week due to fuel pump failure. Not only mine, many other N line owners experienced it. It's a hidden problem and check yours too.

IMT is better than DCT in terms of performance and control also reliable

I love this car but only thing is stopping me from buying this is it's safety ratings. For city use this is perfect but on highways safety is a big concern looking at the speed this car can go . I test drove this and it handles really good. I will go for Taigun GT for better performance and handling coupled with safety.

Doesn't engine tuning affect the car 's life? Do we need to change the coolant or the cooling system post tuning? As it would generate more heat as before.

Hello Sir , I have a query regarding my I20 which I want to ask. The model of my I20 is 1.0 TGDI DCT Asta O (3 Cylinder Engine). My Query: When I start my car in the morning left metal side of engine mounting of the car is vibrating and when I the open the doors they also vibrate and even after 5 minutes of engine on still vibration is there but when I accelerate the vibration is gone. Also , when car is drove say 10-12 Kms and after driving when car at home and if I check for vibration then the vibration is still there in the same areas but again when accelerate the vibration goes. Do you think it is normal or anything to worry about. My car is 1.5 years old.

Hyundai cars are horrible cars and money spent on it is equivalent to throwing it in garbage: Build quality is the worst among other cars Turbo charged engine isn't as reliable as a naturally aspirated engine, expensive to maintain and tends to break down faster. There are several articles published on high maintenance costs of turbo charged engines DCT gear box is expensive to maintain and isn't as reliable as a torque converter. Unit is a pleasure to drive as long as it works but once it breaks down its a pain to get it fixed Interior space is less compared to competition Hyundai pushes inferior quality products to Indians at a premium price
