@@jacoboranday7078 idk what game you were playing but the game ran well for me. Not to mention literally ever call of duty has the same problems you just mentioned
@@CaffreyPlays brother that's by far the most copium comment I've heard all day. My brother in Christ you can look it up yourself it's all over RU-vid. Stop the cap and actually put out some truth in your based ass content you have here. Cause as of rn this game is gonna be doa if it releases in the next month or so.
@@jacoboranday7078 how is that copium... I played mw3 and literally lagged out of a game with many other games having packet loss and desync. If you don't like Xdefiant thats fine but the things you just listed are literally problems in many triple a titles and it doesn't ever stop them. I'm not saying it's great but if the core gameplay is good and the game works well "enough" it will do well. Call of duty, apex and battlefield all have proven that
My honest opinion, YES. It's ready! I would much rather have them release it now in it's current state, with them working out all the bugs and issues as we go, instead of 2-3 more months of silently waiting for things to happen.
I really love this game. I had some problems that can get fixed. Some hit reg issues, getting killed even after i was already behind cover and 2 errors ("Delta-01" and "Mike-01") after some matches. I didn't try the party system because none of my friends play XDefiant (they're kind of limited when it comes to games, they only play those 2 or 3 games an that's it). But overall i'm loving the game and i'm looking forward for it to release. Let's just not compare it to CoD, because this one is free and CoD is an overexpensive game. In fact, i wouldn't mind for Xdefiant to have a 10$ battlepass system or bundle with skins.
I quit CoD like 2 or 3 years again and have been playing Apex almost exclusively so that might be why but I felt like after 2 or 3 wins it was almost unplayable. It was so sweaty and I would die instantly from even some ranges by auto weapons. 😅 could just be me and my buds. Skill issue? Maybe
If you played on Friday the servers were rough leading to alot of inconsistent feeling gameplay. Things seem to get smoothed out for Saturday Sunday a bit. The betas also tend to be sweatier because usually better players are more interested in limited game tests. I also mailed apex for a long time and that game seems more difficult to me haha
@@CaffreyPlays yeah we played on Friday. I want XDefiant to work because I’m so tired of Apex ALL the time lmao but after Friday night none of my buds I play with seemed like they would even consider it again 😔
@@jaceb3106 ya I think they rebuilt the entire networking system from scratch and so the server test was to get info. And the fact that it got better each day is a good indicator. It seems weird to me that cod can have the worst servers or bad servers all the time and people won't stop playing it. But if a new game has a bad day people cry
If you can play with an adaptor against console then no it’s not and it needs to be fixed until release. I’m aware you can toggle cross play but there are people who have a superiority complex and just need to win, and toggling cross play won’t fix it. That was my main reason why I didn’t enjoy it as much especially during the test phase and beta.
@@eltrashooter2578 i mean for a popular braindead game as call of duty having a big fan base. It doesnt take much to make it fun with this kind of shooters. And plus free2play with tomclancy branding
I doubt it. Indie games that release on pc only find a way to have success with little to no marketing. So Xdefiant may not be as big as call of duty but it will for sure find it's player base.
@@CaffreyPlays there’s no way you just compared indie games to a AAA company who’s currently reputation right now is shut down a whole game, not just it’s server. This is also the same company whose reputation isn’t well known for staying with the games, through thick and blood.
