If you do NOT have a minidump folder or a minidump you either didn't turn on minidump (in the video) or the crash just can't generate one. Also, I will be making a new video which makes this process a lot easier.

Yeah I get these random crashes while playing any game on my PC and the audio will make a loud buzzing sound while it's frozen. I don't know everything about Prime95, but whenever I use the blend test, the PC crashes.

I have faced the Blue Screen of Death several times on different computers. Needless to say, I was the cause of these misfortunes. Long story short, I was able to undo and repair the malfunctions that caused this malady with much time, patience and endless retries and variations of on-screen instructions....My advice..."DON'T MESS WITH WHAT YOU DON'T KNOW"..

You saved my laptop from getting destroyed. Here's the thing, I have online school and the school has a "policy" to always have your camera on so I only had hand-me-down laptop from my sister. The two biggest problem with the laptop is that it crashes randomly and it always crashes when I'm in class. The second problem is that the wifi card in the laptop is from the 1 cent store. It is always horrible.

I have never had this happen to my 2-yr computer until the Microsoft update on Feb. 12, 2019. Now it happens constantly.

Very useful, I had found that power settings had an impact but on another parameter, and now W10 just upgraded and I can't find my way back to that set of options to look-up others (W10 is so much fun, I've been at it for 5 years as one of the first with an enforced dual GPU from Hell). It gets complicated when you have intel's processor built-in graphic core combined with a Nvidia GPU and use Physx to drive rendering, because W10 decides it's the Nvidia card that's at fault and deactivates it, doubt it analyses a minidump, but It's great there's a analysis tool out there (it's not much use without the source). Incidentally this info only tells you it crashed while executing a program, doesn't tell you the program was the bad guy. It only says the system state was such at the time that it crashed. The intel graphic core uses 2Gb of your RAM, if you only have 4Gb, that leaves only 2Gb for windows and that's not enough, I've upgraded to 8Mg and that reduced the TDRs. I also have two monitors and I just realised looking in DirectX that the intel graphic core requires ~ 1.8 Gb/monitor where W10 only allocates 1.7 for each in the cache (shared) memory, So now I know why I get TDRs out of the blue just watching a tiny video streaming… it's called waiting for to the virtual storage swapfiles, far too slow for anything 24 bit High res x 2 video related activity. Best one can do henceforth is reinitialise Ram with a daily restart. Virtualisation as any middleware goes, probably doesn't help.

Good video, I hope it starts to help me. I get multiple errors: - first was the 0xc000005, then the 0xc0000022 - now I get the c0000005 & 0x000000b (Which causes both games to crash after playing for a few min, but also is the most recent Blue Screen code as well). I get different stop code notices too like, "memory management", the "IRQL" message and some others. It always says something different. Some of the things I have done to try to rectify this is: - change my GPU fan settings and monitor temp (which is all good) - Windows Auto-fix does nothing! - Ran Memtest86 for four hours plus the memory checker in win 10 a couple times, no errors found - Ran system file checker in CMD - Increased file permissions (for the games that were crashing) - Turned on Legacy Direct Play & tried repair on DirectX - Tried Compatibility mode in Win 8 & 7 & running everything as Admin - Reinstalled all drivers - Also tried reinstall of win 10 - I shut off my firewall after FW exceptions didn't help - Tried disc cleanup Next I'll Try: - cancel overclocking, which I think this is fine, GTX 1060 is set only at 265 MHz - Try to update UEFI or BIOS firmware - Re-seating RAM, even though all tests came back good - I will of course be looking at the Mini-dump files now that I know how to open the reports * I do not expect any of these to work anymore, I suspect my GPU is not working correctly but it is passing the tests. A NEW NOTIFICATION that is popping up on game crashes says "APPLICATION CANNOT ACCESS GPU HARDWARE", starting to assume my GPU is broken. Insights anyone? Thinking I may have to spend quite a bit of time with a Tech Support agent, even though they will try and redo the list of things I have tried already.

Thanks, I've been building my own PC's for almost 20 years, and this high end gaming PC I built keeps crashing and I cannot figure out why. My minidump file is empty, but maybe the small memory dump will give me something, it was setup to automatic, and it's automatically doing nothing!

Most frequent reasons for the BSOD crash 1. Overheating 2. RAM problems (Have to change the RAM altogether) 3. Driver Issues (Can be fixed like in the video)

Awesome video brother! Pointed me to the main issue causing me to blue screen. Thank you! To all others - since the OSRonline site is no longer usable, the site BlueScreenView is the way to go. Here is the link: www.nirsoft.net/utils/blue_screen_view.html 1. run the .exe file in the zip 2. BlueScreenView should pop up with Dump File - right click the file (e.g. 050620-9265-01.dmp) and select properties 3. See "Caused By Driver" and "Caused By Address" lines You can use that to Google your issue. Good luck!

Now what if you cant access the internet or anything on the desktop?!? As soon as i log in and home screen opens up after boot it goes straight to error message. I dont have time to go through any settings etc.

My laptop was getting slower and slower for the last two weeks I noticed that the backround was really lowering the fps So i changed it to just one colour to reduce lag But my pc is still lagging time to time with internet disconnecting And crashing with "unexpected store exception" And the windows security is alerting me virus dectected Im not sure if its just the games i downloaded which is pretty safe

PC Crash related most of the time to a hardware issue rather than a software it could be either one of the Following: 1) Memory 2) overheating 3) Video Card not Functioning well 4) power Supply 5) Sata HDD connection lose or the Sata Cable no functioning very well 6) CPU Fan not functioning well 7) Thermal paste on the CPU dried out 8) CMOS Battery 9) DVI-I to VGA Adapter not secure if someone still used As for the software it could be one of the Following: 1) Video card driver 2) Internet Security not Functioning 3) Bad Windows update 4) program outdated 5) Spyware, Virus, Trojan 6) Browser not programmed very well 7) Corrupted software 8) Flash player

My computer is relatively new, meaning nothing bad has happened to it up until this point. It wasn't crashing until we moved where we are, which has been about 6 months now. It is freezing constantly. It hasn't been bad since last month, because every time I boot up the computer it freezes at a shorter period of time. Now it takes around 5 minutes.

My freshly installed Windows 10 PC kept on crashing about every hour.... After I updated the Nvidia drivers for my graphics card, instead of relying on the Windows auto installed version of it.... It solved the problem.

I decided to put my PC Parts in a smaller case Only thing new is the Motherboard, CPU Cooler and Power Supply Same RAM, Same, GPU, Same CPU and now my computer blue screens and crashes when I’m trying to run a game It’ll legit Crash when trying to play Rocket League on Medium but this is the same CPU + GPU that ran through Jedi Fallen Order on High Settings with no problems on my previous set up

No one will probably see this but my problem is that I’m not able to get out of the blue screen. I’ve tried restoring my pc, continuing my pc. After really thinking about what is causing this I’ve come to the conclusion that the razor synapse app is broken (I’ve had this happen on my laptop before and since it was new I just decided to reset it). If anyone knows if you can delete a single app through command prompt or something idk.

This is funny..I have yet to experience a crash of any Mac computer I have ever owned..yet all the PC Windows 10 computers my family members own all crash weekly in Windows 95/98 fashion.

Yeah so I had that minidump but it was placed in D drive and I had no idea what it was, so I deleted it, 10 minutes later my computer crashes twice in a row so I come and watch this video, what a coincidence.

Make sure you guys check to see if you graphics card needs any installations or updates. Just right click and open your graphics card settings, It should say *insert your graphics card here* settings.

I SOLVED . I just roll back from a last video card update. If you install a International version of the graphic card drivers fixes the problem. you can use GURU (from Guru3D.com) to uninstall all drivers you currently have, then install a fresh driver like (441.12-desktop-win10-64bit-international-whql) . The driver that give me the BSoD was the 442.10. Just make sure the driver says "international-whql"
