Squiffer main here, I am honoured by your opinion. Also putting all shooters in mid is the only true way to rank all weapons.

As a Hydra main, I'm pleasantly surprised at how high you placed it. Most people put it in sleepy tier because they think that you just stay in one spot and shoot with it, but good Hydra players know how to push with this big gun of mass destruction. I can see why it's not super high tho, I totally get it. Definitely a hit or miss weapon for a lot of people.

W tier list!! I love Explo and I think it’s super fun, but I completely understand putting it a tier lower since it’s just so damn slow. I think what really kills it is the whitening frames that make recovering ink on this thing so annoying.

In my opinion the custom Jr is a ton of fun with lots of swim speed up. But fair to put shooters low

I def agree with squiffer and naut because those are my two best weapons, but counter point for goo, if you play it more like squiffer, going for close range shots, then is fun to be squid rolling all over the place with the lengthy charge hold and then blasting an unsuspecting opponent in the face. It's also the least missile spammy of the four missile weapons so it at least is better then them.

Imagine adding a tier for spamming ZR and then not putting Squeezer in it

i think every weapon that heavily features pink in its color scheme should move up one tier for being my favorite color. completely perfect otherwise 10/10

What you said about the s-blast is too accurate, I love it as a main weapon but the kit is painfully disappointing, you're just working with it.

Haven't finished yet but if squiffer isn't top tier this list is invalid

Glad to see vanilla tri slosher so high, I actually chose it as a main over the nouvau bc I found it more fun for me but I can see why you would put the nouveau higher. Overall good tierlist! I would have to agree with some other people that cjr deserves to outrank all of the other shooters though.

Squiffer was my main in the previous game and I still play it at occassion when I just wanna tear a lobby apart, However this time around I've decided to go with Tri-Stringer and V-Slosher, Nifty is a perfectly reasonable tier given their nature of going for assists rather than splats but they definitly have a lot of complexity behind them once you get familiar with the basics.

Getting one shots with the splatana stamper is the most satisfying thing ever.

I used to play scoped chargers because I somehow consistently performed better, but I can understand where you're coming from. I'd personally move blasters above shooters. Brella needs to drop. I currently main Expresso Roller and I'd move it up a bit. It suits my play style really well (a sort of support/slayer type thing) and angle shooter is my favorite sub. I also would put the meta weapons (Machine/Splash) in the bottom-most tier because I always feel guilty playing them since they're kinda brain dead. Ballpoint can stay because you need skill to play it. Other than that I agree.

I will defend the Bloblobber, launching wide arc shots by turning when firing and tossing the blobs off of walls gives a lot of variety during a match, and it's one of my favorite weapons as a result.

i think squeezer and the nozzlenosers deserve to have their placement recalculated!!!!!!

As someone who plays the base tenta brella, it is THE defender weapon. I mostly play it in rainmaker as a bodyguard and that's where i get the most satisfaction from it's kit.

Inkbrush not being in the top tier is rambunctious and I don't even main inkbrush

It's really sad that everyone considers the Gootuber has a "missile spam weapon"... The weapon has so much potential without doing that spam but that nobody want to understand... (Also Nintendo please give me another Goo kit)

As a Squiffer Main since Splatoon 2 I can say I play it because it so fun! I am always finding new ways to splat opponents with trick shots. Nice to see Squiff getting some love. 👍

I would have moved inkbrush to fun or even best. I main squiffer and inkbrush and the absolute RUSH you get by flanking and nearly wiping out the team feels so amazing with brush

Undercover's place is valid, but it's such a rush doing well with a weapon that's supposed to be low tier. Plus there's shield flaring, dodging bombs, and slider combos to consider

Nautilus and Heavy main thank you so much for positive splatling representation lol thank you Nintendo for this Kraken Heavy bread I'm still absolutely horrendous at the Nautilus charge hold but I feel like it's the single most underrated splatling in the lineup weehoo yippee

tbh i expected Squeezer to go into ZRZRZRZRZRZRZRZRZRZRZR cuz that's the whole gimmick of the weapon

Stamper makes me feel like a combination of Chainsaw man and Spiderman. Its feels so damm powerful!! I ranked it as the most fun weapon to use in the entire series

The SIN tier is good for disney villains. Edit: i love how the 2 kits of wiper are LITTERALLY on opposite tiers

As a guy who religiously uses Splatlanas, Vanilla Wiper feels SO MUCH BETTER for my own play style than deco. I will confess, I do enjoy Tenta Missiles, but there's no better rush than chasing a foe with a comically large hammer for me.

I dominated squiffer in splatoon 2 but it feels like the controls in splatoon 3 have changed a lot and haven’t really given it a try again

While the fact I am using tenta missiles makes wiper deco slightly less fun to play, I really like using the beakons with it and I don’t feel THAT bad for using missiles. I’d still put it in mid tier though. Also hydra is Zzz

Goo deserves more love regardless of missiles. The main weapon can do every thing a Squiffer can in the fun aspect. Squiffer and Goo the only chargers I run because they are so much fun in close range. Love it when players think they can rush me because I’m a charger 😂

I never agreed so much with something as when you just dropped all shooters into mid. Nice straight forward weapons that get the job done but lack any particularly fun trait to play around.
