I can't remember the name of that little band, but we used them to blouse or boots in the Marines. My memory sucks, but that was fifty-three years ago. It would be easy to tie a small fishing weight to the throwing end of your Go Pro strap so that you could toss it around the tree easier.
Well said. I actually stopped hunting from a tree for the longest because I didn’t have a vest/safety system. The saddle got me back up but still prefer redundancy. Also let’s not overlook the fact you’re wearing tactical slides

I wear my pack up the tree too. Dawg! That muddy arm is HEAVY AS HELL! Unless your camera setup is over 15 lbs you dont need that heavy ass arm. Look into DIY BOWHUNTING Camera arm. He made it to compete with the Lone Wolf Custom Gear Pocket Arm. The DIY Bowhunting arm is like 2 lbs and cost like $90. I gotta get me some knee pads too. Last season was my first in the saddle and my knees was weak after the day LOL
Thanks for watching bro! My camera is about a pound lol. I really don't mind the weight of the muddy arm. As long as everything thing is compact, and doesn't get caught on anything hiking in I'm good.

I tried pulling my Eberlestock X1 up into the tree with my bow and quiver..... ONCE.... then had to one-stick back down because it was all WAY TOO HEAVY.... for this "over-60" geezer. So now I wear my pack up the tree...
