I’m also a super loyal customer of zZounds. If you’re just starting out with the play as you pay plans, what you need to do is buy something first so the site will recognize you as a customer. it can be a guitar pick or strings or anything cheap, just buy SOMETHING outright FIRST. The very first thing I tried to finance was my EVH Iconic 40w combo amp for about $899. The transaction kept getting cancelled so I contacted them and the gal I talked to was super helpful and walked me through the process. She’s the one who told me to buy something cheap just to establish a client account. After I did that, BOOM! My financing went through and I never had an issue after that. A quick breakdown of the financing here: 4 and 6 month payment plans have no credit check, you can use your own debit or credit card like I do. They don’t even run a soft pull on these, no credit activity whatsoever. The 8 and 12 month plans require a credit check and I haven’t done this yet. You can finance up to $1,250 If, for example you have $1,100 that you owe on current items and you try to finance another item that is $200, that $200 order will be cancelled or denied prior to setting it up as you’ll be over the limit. But if you pay your debts down beforehand, you’ll be able to get that next item, so long as you don’t owe more than $1,250. I was surprised to get an email from them after being a customer for about 6mo or so, making all payments on time and paying some items off early, that they had moved me into the “All Access Club” which I didn’t even know was a thing. The All Access Club gives you financing up to $3,000 instead of $1,250 and also allows you to finance in the 8-12mo brackets WITHOUT a credit check! I haven’t used my all access perks yet as I’m trying to pay down some things, but I love zZounds and wish whoever reads this the absolute best in their musical endeavors! Go get that gear! And don’t worry, zZounds is the best company I’ve dealt with in the music world by far, the customer service is absolutely amazing. I found this video actually looking to see if zZounds has remote positions available, I love them enough to even go work for them!
They’re one of the OG places back 10 years ago when I got started out in music they let me breakdown the payments no credit check and sent the gear next day. Definitely recommend 🙌

Yeah they for Sure Legit! I've been shopping with them for Years. I brought me a PA Bose Speaker a couple of months back! Love the fact that you don't even have to pay the whole thing just to get it.. just payment plans and then they're shipping right on out to you! No credit check or Nothing!
Just finished paying on my Live 2, that I got from zZounds, last month. With music equipment typically being costly, those monthly payment options are a Godsend. It’s also dope that you can get the item before having to fully pay it off. Wish I would’ve waited on the MPC since it’s $300 cheaper now, lol.

When I first seen the website I was a little sketchy on putting any type of credit card information in so I just typed in zzounds in RU-vid and of course a video of my favorite producer pops up on how it's legit went back place my order on a few things and it should be here any minute thanks Bolo
Very legit, literally just finished paying for last year's Christmas gift, I chose 12 months and it was the fastest shipping from anybody I ever used, definitely recommend and yes I'm a human being 🤣

Sweetwater got more options but I check with Zzounds first every time just because as long as you got a legit debit card you can get some good equipment

Definitely LEGIT!! Ive got a lot of gear from them. Been using them for years! All gear came in a couple days too! I would advise that if u do got a credit card, use it instead of a debit card. Because the company doesn't help ur credit even tho they take the payments out on time. By using a credit card u can build ur credit up, just pay ur credit card on time!!
Straight legit. I have been a customer of zzounds for as long as I started making music and I love them. Great customer service, will go the extra mile to help you with all your needs and to be honest, this is the best place for people who are just starting off with credit, don’t have none, or have bad credit. They will give you a chance and it’s easy. 💯💯💯

Been using their payment plan for 15+ years. Probably over 10k spent after all is said and done. The best part lately, is that they ditched crappy UPS and now use FedEx. Just had a Korg Nautilus from them(3rd korg over the years). One of their warehouses is in Ohio, so most of what I order gets delivered very fast. Great company. As soon as I get this balance paid down, I'll be buying more 😉
With my first ever purchase with zZounds, I used a Play as You Pay plan for my Korg Kronos 2 61 late in 2017. I applied for the 12 month plan and the very next day, I had the Kronos in hand. I have also used their plans for other high dollar equipment and have never had any issues! And as you mention, I live within a few hundred miles from their Nevada warehouse and I get things delivered the next day. Zero complaints with zZounds!
I've never gotten anything from them...but i don't see anything wrong with them...I actually rep the one I know to be the first to offer payment plans which is American Musical Supply....I started with them way back in the late 90's when the internet was really starting to pop off!!! Zzounds for me is the backup plan if AMS doesn't have it.
Never used them. But American Musical Supply is another similar service I’ve used. I think they share a warehouse or something, their addresses are the same. 😂
I always use it when buying gear but i cant count how many times my wife sees music gear and goes “Again? How much is this one?” You better lie about the price.

Question? I had purchased from them in the past and recently got a couple of new toys, and i did got a credit check cuz I bought me some gear that’s value at 1k and up. Does that mean they’re going to do a credit check every time I purchase something within that price range?

Don't know but I use American Musical Supply longer monthly terms but lower payments up to a year. Sweetwater is good too but they do a credit check. Thank God for these type of places. I wish other places would give people credit with no credit check . Like the Rolex store at the mall. Lol
Basically things like this can actually damage your credit if you miss one or two payments. People have to read the fine line. What happens if you become unemployed and unable to make payments??? These companies that do pay as you go are insured and do not need to reposes the equipment. They just f*ck up your credit score. Then that affects other purchases you want to finance in the near future. It's never happened to me, but it does happen.
@@itsrelativ3967 As you mention, that's why a person needs to read the fine print. I also can't fault zZounds for reporting to a credit agency either. The zZounds FAQ does state that they will work with you in the event of not being able to make a payment due to circumstances. As for my experience, I have used the Play as You Pay plans for numerous high value items - the latest being a Roland TD-17KVX2 purchased earlier this year - and have always paid off my plan early and not once have I ever had any type of issue with them.
They will process the first payment and processing fee upon approval, and then spread the remaining payments out depending on your choice of plan. In other words, zZounds is absolutely legit!
No... The plans you mentioned are still credit based...zZounds is not going to check your credit to validate your purchase. All you need is a valid debit or credit card to be charged monthly for whatever monthly amount/purchase you agreed to pay for.
