He's also one of the most mechanically skilled players on this list by far - he has an extremely aggresive playstyle and seriously makes the game look easy. Discovered him through his T. Lost streak. Extremely underrated rig potential too, he's known for getting infinite death certificates and stuff on his runs before he pivoted to modded content (which I don't like that much, so I stopped watching).

@@supchefofficial I haven't watched him for very long but he does miss out on a lot of chances to min-max and rig, which I find infuriating. But hey maybe that's what thousands of hours of Isaac did to him cuz rigging might get stale
@@TheFallenXLSin is very anti rig unless it just lands in his lap. He's gone on record many times saying he is not a min maxer so he probably won't be one of your favorites.
Mattman is usually my go-to cuz hes just the right dose of isaac content, with creative ideas that dont stray far away from normal isaac, is casually entertaining and is pretty good at the game, he hits all spots in perfect balance
Lazy mattman should be d for range of content, he also do mods and occasional special runs like when he took a hit for every hit he took in game, id also say he does mad rigs so at least A for rig potential
@@Dorthedoor1344 but the only thing he does are isaac runs, range of content is made up of different types of isaac things like tier lists, runs, and isaac content that isn't just playing the video game.
@@novo2648 while that may be true, consider the variety within his runs, yes he only does runs but every run is something entirely different, whether it be a mod, a challenge, an experiment, or just plain ol isaac, theres so many different kinds of run in there that you gotta give him at least a C for range of content, but hey, thats just my opinion :)
Honestly I'd put Grayfruit up on knowledge. He always seems to know all the more obscure details about items, and he's good at taking advantage of some of the more niche mechanics

Good job dude 😎 Personal nitpick, Cobalt Streak's rig potential score could be higher because that man is always trying to find a way to rig the game to keep his win streaks up. I remember a run where he had an amazing trinket, cancer or something, but gave it up for Swallowed Penny just because of the money generation it could provide later on to rig the game. Overall a good tierlist, fair and respectable. The only person I didn't know was Chunobi and completely forgot about RealGuyWhoIsReal until now. Surprised I didn't see Retromation, DarkViperVODS, PentaHybrid, and Sinvicta (though I understand not including him with how controversial he is) 🤔 Retromation especially made some fresh unedited Isaac runs lately where he played in a fun and unique way contrary to many other Isaac RU-vidrs. Have a good, long RU-vid career, Cheers 🥂

Honestly lost interest in his content when he started streaming frequently. I think simple off cam runs where he just talks to me, the viewer, instead of engaging with a live chat feel more authentic and personal to me (obvious, but I prefer it that way)
The problem is he has been making Isaac for so long, that he doesn't even react to what's happening, he is only sharing his real life, that I couldn't careless, it's even worse than normal podcast content, like why would I cares about what's happened in your life trying to watch a gameplay video
@@Aki4Z I don't agree with NL's placement on this tier list, pretty sure he's placed low on purpose for the sake of engagement bait in comments. However, I do agree with you that NL has been less interesting/entertaining ever since he swapped from being a RU-vidr to being a Streamer. His RU-vid series were gold. But his Streamer content is mostly him talking to chat and letting chat influence the content, which I personally don't care for. I watch NL for NL, not for Stream Chat. Also the fact that some games got dropped because of the fact he couldn't focus on Chat (Rogue Legacy 2) was the nail in the coffin for me. The NL I grew up watching isn't around anymore.
Man, I've been watching Hutts for 8 or 9 years now, seeing you praise him so much gives me such joy. He truly is a pillar of the Isaac community, so glad he's been around all this time
People don't like him because one of his videos outed him for cheating on his win streak. Nothing has come out since repentance on cheating I think, and people are mad because he liked a "transphobic" tweet. He's also seen as a person who newcomers to the game watch. I personally come and go watching his videos for the main reason is I forget about the game for a while.
@@goattrees227 I'd put cheating in quotes as it's all speculation. The timeline also aligned with him getting a new pc and having a lot of trouble with it, which he documented along the line before the incident (complained in a lot of his videos). Maybe he did, maybe not, but it's kind of shitty to ostracize someone over something no one knows for sure, especially when they have been a long time member of the community and the potential "cheating" was not done in a competitive arena.
@@FredCracklin there is a pretty damning clip of the cheating, and I totally agree with that you are saying but he is usually very transparent and he would have said something about losing a run due to technical issues. The main thing is he started a really bad run, did half a room and the recording turned to black. And then he started a new run from the beginning like nothing happened. Not even an Eden token used. It's as if he backed up a save from before. I really don't care about it because I find him entertaining and it's his streak but it's pretty solid evidence that he cheated

@@katanathewarrior9305 has multiple cases of him cheating his eden streaks back in afterbirth plus(im not saying repentance cuz i just stopped caring so i didnt keep up) because he was scared of losing his streak he also has a really fragile ego from what i see
nyantuber or magicaleye were the og Isaac RU-vidrs for me that were just posting regular repentance runs before ppl like matt took over ofc hutts sinvicta etc did it way before but not as entertaining imo

I'm glad you put rigging as a criteria, because I always get annoyed when whoever I'm watching skips rigging because they think it's bad content like wtf do you think I'm here for? I don't care what synergy you get, I've seen them all, and you certainly aren't dealing with incredible (in game) challenge in your standard daily upload. On the other hand, seeing someone turn the most garbage, 24 karat run of bad luck into a pure gamebreak with aggressive rigging is absolute prime entertainment. My second favorite rougelike is Noita.
Sad about tear of grace's (brett) love in here, hes the one who made Isaac on my radar and his synergy run showcase is the fact why i want to play isaac and get amazing synergies. last but not least his unhinged jokes are amazing and its not just unhinged its actually pretty funny lol love him

Cobalt just does the most painful possible runs and somehow wins them like 90% of the time without ever complaining about the game. He only gets upset at legitimate buggy shit.
Honestly good tier list. Mattman and Albino are kinda the dream duo because one is consistent quality content while the other is the once in a few weeks juicy rigging video. The perfect balance you need to have.
Its a nice tier list, but i missed two RU-vidrs. The absolute Isaac GOAT Sinvicta and the returner Retromation. (Reto was playing Isaac back in the days when Isaac broke out from the flash games and now he returned to rig some runs.)

I started watching Isaac from green9090, and then I was introduced to northern lion from him. After that, NL introduced me to CKII and now I don’t have a life.
welsknight (yes, the minecraft youtuber) introduced me to ab+, and i found olexa, hutts, sinvicta and tog through him. id have never have found isaac if it wernt for minecraft LMAO shocked that sin isnt here though
the literal only thing i remember about tear of grace is his tetrachromacy video...thats it, for whatever reason that video specifically has been engraved into my memory, ive watched some of his other videos too but...i dont remember them at all, it was so long ago xD
Giving mattman arange of content as E is criminal. from dead gods, to mod/item showcases, challenge runs i would say thats varied. still good to see him in A, main guy i watch
Nyantuber stopped uploading because he had to go for the mandatory military service since he is Korean, actually uploaded every single day and tested out a lot of mods and kept on the ones he found fun, i cant wait for him to come back :), also he is actually INSANE skill wise not ONLY rig he did hugeeee tainted lost win streaks with constant rigging and aggresive gameplay
I know it’s not a huge deal but LazyMattMan E range doesn’t really make sense to me, he does modded item showcases, modded characters, he’s got a full playthrough from new file to dead god on his channel, he has tier lists…. that’s pretty good variety.
