The wonderful actress Isabel Sanford who played the role of Mrs Louise Jefferson of the Television Show the Jeffersons was literally a late bloomer, getting her big break at a later age. She was born in 1917 and passed away in 2004 after a stellar career and having won a Primetime Emmy award in 1981 for best actress in a television comedy series. She played roles on the stage, television and films, including Guess Who's Coming to Dinner. Isabel Sanford is best known though for her 10 year portrayal of Mrs Jefferson in the Jeffersons between 1975 and 1985.
