The problem with paying people more is that leaves the business owners with less, so they downsize or raise prices. Usually both. Then people are left where they were originally. Economics is hard yo.

Actually not really that much less but less in profit not their income, yet they still downsize and put profit ahead of the worker's welfare, including health and safety, which is why we need regulations. I think we need a maximum wage to go along with ghe minimum wage, which sould be a living wage.

Know I'm a little late to the party, but that's why business taxes should be a ratio of income, employment, and salaries. It already is in Europe, but that's because they morally have the backbone to have enough government influence to simply not work for anyone taking that big of a cut. What ever will the business do, won't they all go overseas ect ect? Yes. Good riddance. Euro gets along just fine without oligarchs. Funny how producers can only rip off their workers if someone let's them operate and sale and buy from them, and America is the worst because it's the worst opposite extreme, the government actively protects and encourages companies to pay or treat their employees as badly at possible.

This came out a long time ago, even before smash ultimate was a thing, so they were referring to smash 4. At the time, most people who were playing new leaf stopped playing it for a while to play smash 4. That's what this parody is about.

And I think this animation was back around...2015...? Around the time of Animal Crossing New Leaf in 2013, and Smash Bros. Wii U in 2014 or 2015.

Actually Carl is related to Isabelle in some way maybe there friends or something? But Carl wanted to be the mayor so he told Isabelle to do all these crazy stuff and then when the mayor came back, they planned that that the villagers would kill him( that's why we saw the octopus burn the doll of the mayor) and after the mayor was gone, Carl and Isabelle would take over the island.
