Seeing Izzie with her shaved head when you first adopted her is so hard. She was so mistreated in China and I feel like the fuller her pigtails got the more herself she became. Love the laughs and smiles this little girl has. She is just so alive in a way that none of us will ever be.

I’ve watched Isabelle flourish in this loving family. When you first got Isabelle at five and a half and 19 pounds. I was so worried for her life. Where she had been she would have died. You have given her new hope. She has grasped that hope with life’s renewed vigor. Not only does she know where she is, but Jesus knows, and he knows that every life is precious. I am thrilled to see Isabelle so happy and healthy. Anything is possible for this little girl in the eyes of God. She now has love and meaning and purpose. Ashley god bless you and Stan and your beautiful family. And May Jesus bestow a special blessing on Mika Ella and Isabelle. Looking forward to more smiles and giggles.

I think the problem with China as can be seen in the ‘Dying Rooms’ is that you are facing a struggle on many fronts . 1 being the carers have traditionally been appointed & told what job they will be doing. So it hasn’t traditionally been a vocation or out of the want to care for children it’s government sanctioned & poorly paid. Hence it’s not that they are uncaring it’s just they apply the same work ethic as they would on an assembly line ie use the most efficient process to complete a task . Adding in cuddles & love , bedtime stories etc etc could be seen as unnecessary if you are solely task completion orientated😔… Likewise her head would be shaven to prevent lice & again it is more efficient as it means less to wash . However perhaps the most damming wrong is China’s discrimination towards people with disabilities . I’m sure I read the people in wheelchairs for the opening / closing Olympic/Paralympic ceremonies were not actually disabled but able bodied people. China is no where near western societies in terms of inclusivity & equal rights. Whilst it is communist & lives to the idea that all people should be equal - that’s not the case & as it opens its doors to the west & moves further into a free market it is creating a culture that doesn’t seem to know exactly where all the pieces go. Sadly Isabelle was always at a disadvantage - shes a girl , she has disabilities & as such is of no use to her motherland. Isabelle is very lucky to now be in a loving , kind & caring home where she’s not a burden & where her carers are not forced to provide basic care for a pittance & with no training in how to do so for a special needs child. … she has the most precious of gifts now - To be wanted, included & to be loved unconditionally forever. What a beautiful family ❤️ xx

I have to admit I'm not a believer, but what I believe is that you're great and altruist people that have given her another chance in life, and I'm so happy to know there are still people like you in the world. Whenever I watch your videos about how you treat your children, I can't stop crying out of happiness, because you give me faith in Humanity. I hope nothing but the best to your family.

I have a son like isabelle.. They are verry special my son is going to be 16 this September 24.my son can see but can't walk can't talk he can do nothing he can't even sit or carry his head. I'm happy seeing isabelle smile and hear her giggles

It's horrible to think of the fact this baby would have lived out her little life in a cage(crib) with no human interaction. Just laying waiting for death, even if it's years away. God hand picked this family for her. She is so precious.

The difference is that you see your 2 little girls as precious; how could a child fail to respond to that? Your service to God and these babies is remarkable. Izzy's laugh just makes me want to laugh with her. You are all so speciall; God must be greatly pleased..

Our middle daughter is 5 and 1/2 years old (same as Isabelle on her gotcha day). Our Lillie weighs 40 lbs so to see her so tiny and uncared for truly broke my heart. The fact that the orphanage just left her to basically rot & die in a crib all alone just because she needed help, makes me sick. What a blessing you & your family are to these 2 beautiful girls & visa versa.

...maybe this is not exactly in order, but I feel inclined to apologize to you, to apologize for so many people who seem to have made one general rule, one rule for every family involved with international adoption and/or adoption involving a child with unique needs... ...just know there are many of us watching, watching and admiring, perfectly aware that there are as many unique adoption stories as there are children looking for loving families. ❤️ Of course we can only ever see the parts of your life which you share with Facebook and RU-vid, but I am fairly confident, having heard you speak multiple times, that you are fully committed to your ENTIRE family and more importantly, to answering to the only One in a position to judge... ...I continue to "cheer your efforts on" in my quiet moments, feeling confident that, no matter how rough things get, you will continue to have the best interests of all six (7?!) at heart, from A. all the way down to I.
