I heard the bit about the farmer to mean that this is not for death but to separate the death from life and to explain that times of discipline are not forever but for a season and not senseless. The farmer tends to and cares for his crops as God tends to the people of Israel. God then from a place of love and with great intention separates the wheat from the chaff in us and around us. Praise God for His justice!
Happy Blessed New Year 2022 Pastor Paul, Family and Calvary chapel,Almighty God continued protection, provision and preservation to you all. Thank you for Teaching God Words the Holy Bible, truly appreciate. 💯🙏🙌🏾🙏❣
Thanks so much for allowing God to use you to break this down. I am currently in Isaiah and this has given me a better understanding. Blessings to you. Keep on doing the work of the Lord!! He is well pleased.
God has been calling me to work through the book of Isaiah during my quiet times in the last two weeks. This book and the book of Daniel are my favourites because of prophecy involved. These videos have been a helpful compliment thankyou :)
'Wherefore also it is contained in the scripture, Behold, I lay in Sion a chief corner stone, elect, precious: And he that believeth on him shall not be confounded. ' 1 Peter 2:6 Confounded: Confused; perplexed; unclear in mind or intent; bewildered
Amen… And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; Romans 1:28
Both cutting and irrevocably jarring, Isaiah’s writings carry about within them an inviolable resonance that prophetically renders such scripture with a contemporariness that makes it feel like it was penned in recent times for recent people. Paul, you are truly gifted. Thank you for all your tireless work.
“Gods wants our heart.” So I get confused when many Christians focus on the laws like abortion and they put so much focus on that and why God hates it. I get the impression that they overlook what God really wants. I don’t care if you’re straight, never divorced, or had an abortion. You can still go straight to hell for rejecting Christ. Yes I believe abortion is a sin but so is divorce and it’s legal. God wants your heart and I feel so many of my Christian friends forget to preach that instead.
Jesus said that you can divorce a person who communicates adultery, there are exceptions and i don't expect a woman that gets hit by her husband to stay with him....she might die. But you are right that you must be God-centerd and not mission focused.
7:40 Our God is not a "perfect balance" of justice and love. We do not belong to a "goldielocks" God with "just enough but not too much justice" and "just enough (but not too much?) love. He is one hundred percent FULLY just and one hundred percent FULLY loving. Okay?
