Acts 20:7 is often given by the church as an example that the apostles met on Sunday. But in Acts 20:7 the word "day" and "after" are added, and therefore we have: “On the first day after the Sabbath…” - which would indicate Sunday. But the correct translation should be: “THE FIRST SABBATH…” And this makes a lot of sense, because the meeting takes place right after the Unleavened Bread, which we see in verse above (Acts 20:6) and before Pentecost (Shavuot), what we see a little further in verse 16. Here (Acts 20:7) it says that the disciples met FIRST SABBATH after the Feast of First Fruits. And this was the FIRST SABBATH of the seven that we count down to Shavuot (Omer counting). It's also a beautiful witness to the fact that the disciples continued celebrating all the Biblical feasts, not evidence of their rejection of the YHWH's Torah to celebrate pagan Sunday.

In a terrible twist of intrigue, politically, this sermon by Matthew Nolan on Isaiah chapter 56 regarding the vitality and command of Shabbat for the whole world by our Creator from the Beginning of Time, Week One (whether folks believe YHWH's Word is True, or not) was being given at the exact same time of the assassination attempt on President Trump during a rally on Shabbat here in Pennsylvania. YHWH is speaking about His Day of Rest, which He yet observes, and His Son Yahshua also, as He walked the earth as the Son of man. "O earth, earth, earth: Hear the Word of YHWH!" Jeremiah 22:29
