Thank you for this explanation of Old Testament prophecy. You've explained Isaiah's prophecies in a way I've never heard before (and I've been studying the Scriptures for a long time!) What you say regarding the veracity of the Bible and the ancient prophecies concerning the Lord Jesus Christ is greatly needed NOW. Please keep teaching. God bless you!
My beautiful wife went to heaven last year. I find myself obsessed with learning about heaven and God’s kingdom. Could you please do a study on heaven and the book of Revelations. Thank you
Considering Dr. Tour has sarcastically called Professor Dave “Mr. Chemist” and says that he’s a mind reader, it seems like Jim has a lot of hostility toward Dave. Considering Matthew 5:21-22: “You have heard that it was said to the people long ago, ‘You shall not murder, and anyone who murders will be subject to judgement’. But I tell you that anyone who is angry with a brother or sister will be subject to judgement…And anyone who says, ‘You fool!’ will be in danger of the fire of hell” and 1 Samuel 16:7: “but the Lord looks at the heart”, doesn’t that violate the 6th Commandment: Thou shalt not kill?
@@rebanelson607 freedom of speech doesn’t mean you can just spread misinformation, RU-vid is a private business they can do fact checks if you want. If he was spreading actual facts you wouldn’t be so worried
Dr. Tour has repeatedly stated that Professor Dave doesn’t know chemistry. Considering Dave makes chemistry tutorials Jim has admitted are useful, doesn’t that violate the 9th Commandment: Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor?
Not really - Dr Dave knows a lot of chemistry, yet Mr. Tour could well be his teacher. Likewise, I could teach a lot of Chinese to someone, but would make a fool of myself if I would not listen to a native speaker to correct me even in cases I thought to grasp.
@@mattisomersalo3118 What's concerning is that Jim is spreading information that's been proved to be lies. I don't know how Jim can possibly justify this since the 9th commandment quite literally means don't lie. Also, what do you mean "Mr. Tour could well be his teacher"? If you mean Jim has a Ph.D. and Dave doesn't, Lee Cronin and Andrew Barron also have Ph.D.'s
@@ianlee5812 We seem to disagree. I have heard Prof. Dave's name calling, yet find very little ground for it. Dr. Tour is one of the most honest persons I know. Now, when he refuses to continue debating with Prof. Dave about organic chemistry is due to Prof. Dave's hostility to Dr. Tour's person and his way to dive deep in all the vague claims presented about how close science is in understanding something about OOL by chance. Here is where real understanding of chemistry is needed. Anyway, that belongs to a totally different arena, not here where Dr. Tour is teaching about the Bible. As you continue listening to Dr. Tour, you will find out he is very sincere in his teachings, and ready to admit if he has been wrong in some way.
@@mattisomersalo3118 Professor Dave may be hostile toward Jim. But why should Jim be allowed to violate a Commandment because Dave did? Especially because Jim's using Dave as an example of how not to be.
