Man, i was the same but I'm a little older so i was listening to this when i first moved outta home. Now I'm in my 30's listening to this and it's funny how different parts of it speak to me and favourite songs are ones that i didn't rotate as much back in the day.... music is a trip, life is a trip.
A masterpiece. A piece of art created by an introvert, for introverts. For the lost. For the traumatized. For the forgotten. It's not hard to tell Isaiah was at an all time low during the years of these songs. The way he beautifully portrays his life and inner thoughts through a spew of words is just unfathomable. From poverty, to troubling life as an adolescent, to love, to discovering passions and making ever lasting memories, there's not a better person to make this masterpiece than one without personal experience. I applaud Zay in every manner imaginable for putting his all into these songs. This is my safe haven to remind me shit will get better and the good times is only as far away as I make it. Forever thankful.

I started listening to Isaiah Rashad my junior year of HS. I'm turning 25 next week and still been following his career. Some of his darker, emotional music really hit at that point in my life.

Listening to Isaiah, Injury Reserve and Kendrick Lamar be real about depression and that whole nightmare has done so much for me right now. It's great how real and with a message shit has become.
I remember jamming this all day everyday when it came out, it also came out at the darkest time in my life and helped soothe everything, great artist and deserves all the success, Tut is next!!!
Growing up I dealt with a lot of pain, substance abuse, relationship problems, loss and abandonment. this album really made me feel like I wasn't alone even though I was. lost so many friends and I would remember listening to this album on repeat while on long bike rides, while skateboarding and playing basketball. Now looking back it was like the therapy I needed.

Though admittedly, there comes a time where we have to put aside the drugs because once we no longer are searching for answers, we must use our knowledge of self to achieve greatness. And great people/winners, do not take drugs.

I've never emotionally been hit by an artist until i found Isaiah. Naw i don't live the life he lives but i can definitely feel his emotions. The mood states he visually describes mirror my own. Mani Lux... dear god.
I know that but these tracks are way better than the standard mixtape quality. The production, subject matter, rhymes are like major label debut quality. A shame this couldn't have been his introduction to the masses. Making Cilvia Demo the groundbreaking sophmore album.
I found this 6 years ago, around the time my parents and I had to move. Stopped hearing rap around 2020 and now I listen to it from time to time. Still beautiful.

Play this literally every day and it still never gets old, this is what you call a classic, Isaiah has my mindset, his music has helped me so much through all the bullshit I've recently gone through and I can't thank him enough, this is already like 5 years old but still helps me out, suicidal thoughts swarm my mind but this is always there to remind me of harsher things people face and for me to face my fears and overcome them, I love music, I'd be dead without it

i used to listen to this tape every night in 2017 (i was 14) i was in such a bad place emotionally and mentally and i related to it so much. im 18 now and im finally okay, zay is about to drop 'the house is burning' and he describes it as an album of healing. it felt necessary to come back here to remember where i was before the release of the new album.

Listened to this album last year in July - August while going through a major heartbreak. We got back together for another year until it ended again in Nov of this year, and here I am again. Thank you Isaiah for getting me through.

I love how when i listen to Isaiah, I can really tell he's bein real. Too many whack ass rappers in the game only talk about dumb material shit just because they got nothing deeper to say. Isaiah is definitely part of a rare breed.

Acid Rap okay i do understand where you are coming from, but as a big Kid Cudi fan, i've stuck with his new music i personally love it. and if you actually follow him, he said himself, MOTM1 and 2 were meant to be his "HIIT albums", and then he was going to start making what he really wanted this whole time. His new music is quite distinct, and i understand why it's not for everyone especially for people who only like Rap/trap/hiphop, party kind of music.

Found this album in April of 2020. Every since my first listen it has been my favourite album ever. I still feel breeze I get when I used to listen to this album while talking a walk in the middle of day cause I had nothing better to do since the world was locked down.
