Fifteen-year-old Isaiah loves playing basketball-and he’s really good at it! But he’s self-conscious about playing in public due to his nervous system disorder and worry of having a seizure while on the court. Isaiah wished for his very own backyard basketball court, which he envisioned as a safe, judgment-free spot to shoot hoops with his family and friends.
We brought in Ronnie2K and NBA 2K to help design a custom court for Isaiah. It was important to Isaiah that the design featured purple for epilepsy and green for cerebral palsy. For several months, partners from Truebeck Construction, Goodfellow Bros, NRG Experiential, and Creative Paving Solutions transformed Isaiah’s Daly City backyard into a bespoke basketball haven.
