One big difference is in the phrasing. This version allows the singer to breathe rather than machine gunning through a phrase that is nearly 30 seconds long. Those tiny pauses to breathe create a whole different feeling as does the ever so slight syncopation that the pauses create.
A lot of people in the comments think that it's Isak's song, but it's actually a cover of Sia's song Snowman. It was just to clarify things 😊 Anyway, this cover is still beautiful, a masterpiece ! ❤️

@@jonlake9926 both are amazing, there's no need to be rude . In My case, isak's version makes me feel more nostalgic and part of a fantasy world. While sia's makes me feel happy and sassy (weird I know) also in christmas mood. (I feel that isak's cover is one More emotional because of his voice, but it's just my perception)

Sia has sing this and put it to a snowman video ( which is cute) but your voice suits it better and I've always loved you singing it Isak. Listened to it loads last year, my favourite song at Christmas.

I would never have guessed that this is a cover. The lyrics are perfect, the meaning is so deep and close to my heart and your voice, Isak, just fits perfectly. It's been a long time since I fell in love, but I know that if I ever do again it will be like this. Depressing? Maybe, but it's true. I just want to say thank you to Isak and every artist out there that make us feel less alone.

Do you not find thanksgiving incredibly patronising, considering? I'm from England and I understand parts of the history, don't get me wrong. People were starving, but we all could have done without the backstabbing and land grabbing. Thanksgiving should not be a thing. It's really horrific as a holiday. It's like saying "thanks for this land that you didn't want to give up because you worked on it for so many years, but anyway, let's have a feast". (I'm aware that England was massively at fault, I'm not playing the blame game because it's pointless, but my opinion still stands about thanksgiving)
