Isha monks respond to allegations of being brainwashed... 

Lot's of people try to defame sadhguru. They will fail badly.

They have so much clarity...how can anyone say they are brain washed...proud of them

Appears to me that the dear parents are more brainwashed by societies' 'norm'. What is the parents intention- to 'free' the girls into marriage , children and so on? and in this manner? I'm a married woman and a mother and a working woman. I have been a mediator and a volunteer for 9 years and so I can confidently say with my personal experience that this allegation is utter rubbish. Look at those bright happy faces, I would be glowing with pride if my child chooses this blessed path.

Osho said that parents destroy their children, this is a fine example of how these kids have broken away from parents and saved themselves from destruction at the hands of their parents. Life is for experiencing and living, not for living someone else's desires.

from my experience, if at all anything, Sadhguru has always encouraged to question everything. neither being positive or negative but to be a realist. to see things as they are without distortion. this is why the most sckeptic lot, highly qualified and society's definition of 'successful' people get drawn to isha and Sadhguru. this allegation is ridiculous to say the least!!!

Its always sad when parents force their views of life on their children, even more when they are adults. These daughters definitely know what they want and have done a very noble choice that we should all be proud of! Thank you for dedicating your life to others well-being dear akkas!

I am determined to visit Isha foundation next Shivratri, I left my 9 to 5 job and doing my own work so that I can be free to go anytime and anywhere...

Many great men and spiritual institutions have faced oppositions and allegations through out history. So this happening to Isha is no surprise. It's a relief to know that in today's times there are people in the world who work for the upliftment of others. He is a Sadhguru in true sense.

A lot of parents have problems respecting choices made by the children that are not "normal." Societal pressures, their own expectations and fear of dealing with the unknown path are some of the reasons. I am sure if they have a constructive dialogue with their daughters, they will understand and respect their choice. I met two monks during our recent trip to Isha. One of them said eventhough his family was initially quite upset, now (after about 14 years) they are so happy with his decision that his mum and sister have moved closer to the Ashram so that they could not only see him often but can also be a part of Isha whenever they can.

It is really a privilege to get such blessed souls as Daughters. Isha yoga is a place where all mankind can find expression to their inner core.. I urge the media not to limit this possibility to people..

With due respects to this foundation, I must say that it is generally very difficult to distinguish between a brainwashed person and a normal person. Any devotee of any of the various Gurus who abound in India & elsewhere will speak in a similar language. They will profess unflinching devotion to their Guru and their conviction of the path etc.

Dear parents, You should be extremely proud of their decision and what they are with their lives. It takes a lot of courage to walk a path like this which is far greater than engineer, doctor, family life. These girls are part of a movement that is building humanity's future. The number of people who have been touched and transformed by Isha and its meditation courses are innumerable. Many people have cured their health issues and living peaceful lives because of Isha. Your children are much loved by so many thousand people. Please look at their lives a little deeper without comparison and you will see the beauty of what they are doing... Thank you for bringing such wonderful beings into the world!

I can see some repeated words in every platform that sadhguru 'brainwashed' them. Actually if something make sense ,we accept that. This will not come under brain wash category.. I think in this century nobody can brain wash us as we are very well aware of the society..Instead we should think how sadhguru is being a successful Guru for millions of lives. Watch his videos in you tube it will definitely make sense. We will start to live a sensible ,devoted and a percepted life. Thanks to sadhguru for transforming my life. Marriage is NOT for everyone. I realised this after 10 years of my married life. Lovely husband and a beautiful child none of them filling up the emptiness in my heart. Finally I found the way I belong through the teachings of Advitha Vedanta and through inner engineering technology offered by Sudhguru. Its too late for me but I would say these girls are very smart.

Parents are always dissatisfied with the decisions made by their children. If the child wants to be an engineer they want them to be a doctor, if he/she chooses one college they want them in IIT. They think they own their kids. Parents are only an instrument to bring the children into this world. Can't a girl decide what she wants in life? If she is bold enough to decide for herself I bet she can also decide whether she want to be there or not. How many parents are responsible for their daughter's suicide and failed marriages why doesn't the media talk about that. I've been a follower of sadguru for the past fifteen years. I look after my family and my children and I do pranayam and I'm at peace. And I know hundreds who like me follow him . No one is forced to do anything. It is become a fashion for the paid media to purposely throw muck on gurus.What about the mullahs and the Catholic priests who bring bad repute to their religion?

"U give us anything, we would say no this is what we want" What a word. I hv done services along with so many sanyas in Isha and they are really very intense.. My hands automatically namaskar them. If somebody is so very intense it's better not to disturb them. Please let them do what they really want to..That's where the true freedom is..we just speak about freedom and forget it but they took up that as their life time goal. That is to be appreciated:)

Lot of people cant understand Sprituality unless they experience the same...I can see these girls are enlightened beings...they are speaking in such a clarity and confidence even many top executive of the corporate today cant speak...they are very sensible, realised being and they know what they are knowing...even to understand them one got to be very smart...normal people who run pillar to post for 2 bhk house, a four wheeler and few bugs in a month cant understand their profoundness...

Sadhguru is a contemporary guru and is politically savvy too - I love that about him. That's the evangelicals are so mad at him. He is able to deal with all bad publicity very well. There are over 9 million volunteers worldwide so there must many more millions of followers - this alone proves how much he has touched our lives.

I have a friend's daughter who has become a sanyasi ...she stayed there for more than 4years & Sadgurudev gave her options either you get married & stay here or become a sanyasi she choose to become a sanyasi she was not forced & as I think she is very Happy there coz I have met her in the ashram she had no attachment towards anything ...not even her parents.. very much satisfied & content 🙏 I don't think Sadguru forces any one to come to him people go on their own will....I want to go to the ashram to do a six months program but I was not able to coz I did not fulfill the requirements ...even willing you cannot go so how forceably any one can be kept there.🙏

Really great! It is imp family members understand they are family and not just a controlling mechanism to use a family member. I am in a family and follow my guru having spent 14 years just in my husbands house he doesnt let me visit ashram even for a week! Hell suffocating. He has burnt it all forever by showing how meagre a mand trust can be! While he himself has travelled the world for work how could i just support him ? Nonethless i take responsibility for my growth and doing best to keepup my practices however it is in best interest of my kids. Glad to see you have chosen your will with Sadhguru's blessings🙏
