I feel like a dork wasting all that time watching those wood turning videos with wood & resin, not knowing any better, I thought those were cool. But after discovering this channel? Man, THIS is woodworking.

Your work always makes me want to build something, but I usually see your videos late at night. I need to put my computer out in my shop. Beautiful wood. Walnut is my favorite, I think. So happy to see you are making a success of your furniture making. It's nice to know high-volume is not the only road to success. Artistry and excellence still count for something.

Watching this piece of furniture being made and how simple pretty it is gives that sensation of wanting to cry not from sadness but from how pretty and calm and peaceful this piece is

I have to admit, your videos are inspiring. I haven't the skills nor experience at these levels, but it has given me the push to try new and challenging projects. The biggest thing I've changed? I've slowed down...it's already improved the quality of my work. Thank you for posting these wonderful videos. I know that they're not "how to's" but they are a reminder of beautiful handmade and skilled craftsmanship woodworking.
