The cats he got are up there with the best behaved cats i have ever seen. They just need time and space from the dog. But having a puppy bark non stop, he's lucky the cats didn't straight up fight his dog.

I've own both of these animals and i know for a fact they shouldn't of been introduced like this. The cats handled themselves very well in this situation, I feel as though speed needs to have more control over his dog and understand the animals different body language, the white cat was happy at first but you can see him getting kind of over how the dog doesn't leave him alone. If you wanted to introduce them like this straight away, the dog should be told to sit and scolded if he barked at the cats. I get that this is probably a new experience for speed but he definitely should've looked into how to introduce them before actually doing it, so that both the cats and his dog feel comfortable.

Fun fact the first cat speed showed trusted the dog and was happy you could tell by its tail

The dog can use some training. As a puppy, there's so much energy but if the dog can learn how to sit or leave it on command, it will allow the dog to be calm when you need him to be. Training is a good way to bond with your pets. If the dog knows when you dont like something, it will know to stop. If you train and establish a way to communicate with the dog, it will know when you want him to stop barking when needed. One thing I noticed at the end is when you slapped him on the butt, it was enough to stop him from barking. That was you communicating to him and him understanding. It showed that the dog is receptive to your commands but you will need to put in the time to establish that relationship

20:00 Fr though - I kinda felt bad for the two cats, if I was taken and put in a room I'm unfamiliar with, by people I barely know, and had a dog twice my size getting in my face incessantly and barking - I'd be a little tense too. Those cats are amazing, the dog's good too, but the dog is a little too excited and pushy for the cat's liking - but if you keep them from fighting until they are somewhat used to each other, I feel they'd be fine - as long as they don't start a big fight. THEN you should worry, dogs forgive and forget, cats really hold a grudge - speaking from experience

The best way to introduce them to each other is letting your cats stay in a room while you let your dog roam the house because cats need to get used to a small area before you let them get use to the entire house, If you give your dog a blanket for a few days to lay on it should have their scent on there and then you can introduce that to your cats slowly so they get use to the scent. And then you can introduce them by using the door as a barrier to keep them safe from each other until they have become familiar with each other. Once you are done doing that you can introduce them using a fence or a gate to be more open but also safe. It should have been a slow introduction not a face to face one cause as you could tell one cat was getting agitated and the other wanted to throw down already. I also made the same mistake but just got lucky cause my cat was chill.

Lets give our bro advice In the beginning its always hard, They just need to be trained by a good cat and dog trainer, they will also need time lots of patience, introducing them 3 starts slow and at their level, start by separating them in secure separate rooms, the dog is very excited and barks which is not good for when meeting the cats, they dont all react the same at first, keeping them in separate rooms just enough for each other to smell and hear each other is a good start, just don't let any of them get to close through any seaping hole, or opening because remember they are still not in the same level of comfort, hope this helps

The black cat is not mean,he feels threatened by the dog..the dog keeps barking in the cats face,and that cat clearly feels stressed by it.i don’t blame it on the dog but you need to train your dog to be more gentle to other pets especially if its gonna end up getting himself ‘hurt’?and don’t put their faces together,just let them get along in their own time. (I have 2 dogs and 4 cats,it’s works eventually but not immediately)

We have four cats. You have to start them out in a room first and then about after a day or two you let them out and you show them their surroundings. The cat will get used to it quickly then you introduce the dog because it puts pressure on the cats to fight because of their natural instinct.

Let me give you some information.Cats are really calm around anything pretty much.But if they're near something, they can sense that it's really hyper.And they don't like things that is too hyper and jump.Buddy in all that stuff don't kind of I have 15 cats And no, they're not from an adoption cent. Try hard to keep the cat from menacing the dog (yes, that’s a thing too). Introduce them gradually, with scent and sound before actual contact. I use the ‘under the door’ method for introducing two cats but it also works for dog and cat. This is pretty simple, just keep a closed door between the two of them for a day or two and let them sniff each other under that door. It gets them used to the idea of sharing turf.
