Being a student/ researcher & knowing how high the maternal mortality rate in Pakistan is, it’s really important that the issue is highlighted. #ZPKB: I agree with Aamna that every scene of this drama has a purpose. I think Meenu & Noufel needed a reason to team up together. Rani’s case & Mallik Nadir’s conspiracy will bring them together.
ZPKB(IMO): Rani's track will serve as a catalyst for the clash between Malik Nadir and the protagonists. The drama is unfolding its plot effectively. Overall, ZPKB is an enjoyable watch with a purpose.
Haroon is nothing without his father. If he wants to prove himself then he should work with a production house other than his father's so that people can take him seriously. Case in point, Hamza Sohail what a struggle despite being son of a great actor. And what a gem of actor he is!!😊
ZPKB: Dear Hassan, please understand the tracks you are talking about, be it Rani’s or Meenu’s druggie brother’s or Malik Nadir’s, are moving the plot forward as they are all linked to Meenu & Noufil. Those tracks aren’t incorporated just to teach you moral lessons. You really need to grow a bit of patience. This is what happens when you watch too much of trash tv.
You guys need to understand zard Patton Ka band is not another just romantic drama like there bin it's a story about the village life and problems of that village so its goes without saying that it will show more of village life stories not just lead couple romance
This !!! I think everyone including them have been fond of 2 episodes per week that they feel that 1 episode per week doesn't give much content and plot doesn't move although it does which goes for ZPKB
Exactly. I am not sure why people expect or like to see romance in dramas like ZPKB. The central theme of each Kash Foundation drama is to bring much-needed attention to the contemporary societal challenges. The lovely romance between Nofil and Meenu is just for the spice because the makers understand our people's mindsets. We want to see the romance in every freaking project, despite the fact that romance is absolutely not required in every project. So nobody should expect to watch the entire romantic track between male and female lead in dramas like ZPKB.
I agree! Meenu & Noufil scenes are my favourite too but sometimes a show is made for the bigger purpose. If that’s kept in mind, people will not have a problem with other tracks & its pace. And it’s not like the drama is dry, it’s really enjoyable
If you remember Hamza said they actually added more of his scenes later on. The romance was never a pivotal part of the story from the get go. It was added to bring in our audience who only want to see romance in everything
Thank god I didn't watch a single episode of Shiddat . After torturing women for almost 50 episodes they lived happily ever after Wowwww!!!! . I will again say this Geo doesn't have dramas with good storytelling except few exceptions . And which prime time drama has 50 plus episode I mean , geo should leave some distinction between soaps and dramas . Pathetic !!

Gentleman drama is solely surviving on its star-studded cast. Unfortunately, the writing, the portrayal of goons as gentlemen/visa-versa, and the lack of empathy for professions like journalism are quite disappointing. Additionally, the father's open acceptance of his daughter wandering, cooking, and meeting with goons (the society perceives them as goons), along with the deplorable and nonsensical dialogue, makes for a truly dreadful watch. It's disconcerting to witness a strong, career-minded girl lose herself in the name of love. The writer failed miserably by focusing too much on a love story (or stories as three men are in love with the same woman) and philosophical/preachy dialogue instead of illustrating the dichotomy between a real goon and a real gentleman in society. I had high expectations for this drama, but, my god, what a fall from disgrace it has turned out to be.

As someone from South India, Hassan, and Aamna, I really want you both to reintroduce Beyond Borders and start watching Malayalam films. They are class apart. Definitely, not all movies would be great, but there are gems there that need to be seen by a larger audience. Even Mahira Khan mentioned in some interview how she loves Malayalam films (Fahad Mustafa was also part of that interview). Please do watch Malayalam films, because our films are not about men flying in air. To begin with I would suggest (in no particular order) Kaathal- the core Manjummel Boys Kumbalangi Nights The Great Indian Kitchen Bangalore Days Charlie #Home Android Kunjappan And I would recommend these movies to the SH family as well. Sorry if i am sounding a bit unreasonable and rude but Ishq Hua does look very artificial and for me even the performances looks unnatural. I am not sure how you guys liked it and sounded more like a paid review. This is just my opinion. Definitely not for me and not going to watch it. As someone else pointed in the comments section, there is more to a South Indian movie than just men flying and ridiculous romances. Some of the South Indian movies especially Malayalam movies are the best movies coming out of India.
You’re right. The show offers nothing new. Even the lead actor doesn’t have the charisma to play a massy hero. 7th sky really wants to shove Haroon Kadwani down our throats. Either the reviewers enjoy trashy content or they were paid to give positive reviews. There’s no other explanation. I’m really starting to question the credibility of these journalists
Gentleman: when I heard the dialogues between Faris and Zarnab on phone, in which Faris use explicit language, it felt like KRQ is spitting venom against women. KRQ was speaking his mindset through them.

Trauma me memories erase hotha hai...my sister committed suicide when I was 18yrs old, since then I can't recall her voice & face. Only pictures can remind me her face. So trauma will erase memories 💔
If they will not give a closure to Rani's incident then the whole track will mean nothing....hassan I know people are more invested in main leads but hum agar is drama ko bhi drama ki Tarah Lenge then wo screens tak hi limited Ho jayegi it won't bring any change....har character ko closure milna chahiye jo wo deserve karta hai.....zpkb already is already making us experience a harsh reality of life with a soothing enough script..if this situations hurt us then we need to take that feeling for the reform to happen..... We have a hell lot of things for entertainment
No doubt we don’t like strict fathers in dramas or those who always bring ‘ izzat’ in everything to do with their daughters , but for the first time i saw the other extreme, in fact a new species of abbas in Gentleman’s Zarnab’s abba. The guy sang a love song in a hospital ward in front of his daughter sitting with strangers who were gangsters. Then he himself encouraged his daughter to go to Munna’s house where the entire gang of goons lived. She regularly took breakfast to him ( as he would not eat if she didn’t), and stayed there roaming about, playing with pigeons, and abba had no problem with it. Would any educated, liberal, sensible father allow that? KRQ glorified underworld.

He tried to impress the dumb with fancy worded dialogues that had no content, expect a few. KRQ kept on contradicting himself in the drama. Munna said Zarnab’s salary was the same as his money, since he looted the corrupt and Zarnab’s boss was corrupt. So the salary Zarnab took was the same as his.🤦♀️Bhai note pe nahi likha hota ke ye haraam ya halaal hae. It is the way you earn it. Zarnab’s boss earning may be haraam ki, but when given to Zarnab for her honest work, it is halaal for her as she will not be held accountable for her boss. But Money that Munna took by force from people is haraam earning as stealing is, irrespective of how it was earned originally. So absolutely wrong philosophy of KRQ. Contradiction: Faris took one crore from Rehmati to not arrest him? So why did they call Faris a gunda , and Munna innocent when both took money which was initially illegally earned, as per KRQ philosophy? The romantic side of the drama is even more ridiculous. Nothing makes sense. Can’t believe it is written by the same writer who wrote PYare Afzal. Everything in it made sense and fell into place. Here Zarnab leaves one gunda and falls for another.
ZPKB is still an impressive and enjoyable watch whereas a gentleman is full of cheap dialogues and Abdullah kadwani should better give good characters to his son rather than trying to make him a 90's Bollywood movies hero in 2024
Jaan Nisar: I understand that men may not be fully like the character of Haroon, but I have seen many Pakistani men in Pakistan and abroad to have that confidence that I can get any women I want, which is mind boggling to me. Not a men hater, but if women had half the confidence and self belief of a below average Pakistani men, the world would change for the better.

Being a Tamasha Freak I agree with you Hassan! This year contestants are not as smart as they need to be but I find BaadShah’s performance equally flawed. I mean he can word it better or explain them more or even demonstrate games. Also He is been schooling them like little kids and then complaining that they aren’t doing much and show is boring. I watch uncut too…..there is a lot of fun things they do but editors aren’t doing good job. First 2 seasons were definitely better. This season is boring n slow mainly because they are too scared to do anything. Zara si baat pe daant par jati hai. In the uncut episodes BaadShah is so rude sometimes literally yelling at them 😢 he shouldn’t go in that often
Hi Hassan and Aman. Another great episode! I just have to correct Amna, if I may, trauma plays a very important role on memory, it makes it patchy, fuzzy and sometimes completely erases it. It's a big premise in our Canadian refugee process and if you like I can forward you the research. Thanks
If anyone wants to know what love, romance, emotions and a real human hero is, and how these can be depicted in a drama, watch K drama, Queen Of Tears. It’s has the best written character of a hero. Pakistani romance and family writers can learn a lot from it.

Shiddat : Almost every criminal has a bad and pity past . Does that mean they shouldn't be punished ? What were they thinking when they concluded the drama like this . And the views OMG I am afraid people don't take this story seriously
Shiddtat is more like ShiTdat. Terribly written, such a disappointing ending. I used to be a huge fan of Pakistani dramas (I'm an Indian) I loved the storytelling and with time I've started feeling the same disappointment towards them like I've felt towards mainstream Indian dramas. It's so bad 😔
Dear Amna and Hassan, I agree with you both about the impact of dramas like Shiddat on our audience's mindset. However, it's important to note that if people had spoken out against such scripts when they first aired on television instead of giving them high ratings, we might not have dramas like Shiddat today. I am grateful that the audience expressed their disapproval of certain "six-episode series" that attempted to showcase certain damaging concepts. This makes me hopeful that in the future, such content will not be created again.
Ufff I kept scrolling to see if someone had commented on this. It’s disappointing that SH team continues to defend that 6 episode series at every chance they can get. You’re right, this was the first step towards normalization of deviant behavior in our dramas. The West started doing it decades ago and now gay characters are in every series, normalized, glorified, celebrated, sympathized with etc.
In tamasha the contestants are dumb in tasks but the main problem is of badshah he on that recent task he says one thing and then contradict it and confuse the contestants. He says the contestants to do something then when they do something he comes to school them

Gentleman was one of my favourites when it started, however, it has gotten so annoying and unbelievable that I have kept delaying watching it since two weeks. 1. How can a renowned journalist keep roaming around with ghundas all the time without it becoming a scandal. 2. No sane, middle class father can be so chill with his daughter hanging around in a house full of men yet alone ghunday. How she feels so comfortable over there is beyond me 😵💫😵💫😵💫 3. Is there no other person in her life whom she can marry who is socially compatible with her and still righteous. Matlab poori dunya mein aik gangster hi shareef bacha hay shadi k liye. 4. Her falling in love also doesn't make sense to me. Asal mein aik ghunda agar aik larki per itna meherban ho k uske liye goliyaan khale, she will immediately turn her guards up aur shukria keh kar jaan churayegi. Middle class, shareef people hope to never encounter a police station even, inke abba ghundon k sath mohabbat mein mubtala hain. 5. How is munna the greatest gentleman in the whole country. What's his source of income? what has he been doing the whole life as a gangster? How will he support her financially when married? Dunya mein aur koi shareef aadmi nhi hay kia shadi k liye. The love angle is absolutely stupid. So wanted to see yumna in a worthwhile drama, hope she signs one soon.
Even Faris Ahmed Assistant Commissioner of karongi, engaged n long tim relationship, roaming with Higher police officer 's Neice with out any scandal 😅. Bz of her He got transferred to Karachi/ she was behind his transfer for Norshi 🤪. Bhai , left his self respect n fell on Mifra 's leg 😅. Even he got promotion as DCO bz of her She came to his office to see his duty charge . So no scandal, non of officers didn't gossip (their affair) even Mifra's Uncle not bothering about that. Engaged Almost married man coming to his home to see his Neice n night time having dinner dates, tea dates, Late night Ice cream day. Faris using his Police vehicle to this 😅. So no scandal for him 😅. If he doesn't have any scandal. Y should Zarnab have scandal 😅
No one is interested in Faris & Mifra. Some sane viewers are interested in female lead character . We signed up this drama for that character. But when we get disappointment to see that character arc we just expressing our viewpoint. I just don’t understand why people are getting offended when few viewers are talking about the loopholes in the drama GM.

I just saw the last episode of #Raad. I can't stop laughing at the pointless twists and turns.. 😂 reminds me of the #terebin miserable plot towards the end.. they did the same with Raad.. where we started and how disappointed the finish was.

Gentleman - Faris’ dialogues “gundi” hain because look at the writer. He “beautifies” his hatred for women with “poetic” dialogues.
of course Trauma erases memories and he was only 6 years old that is very young - you end up blocking out the pain and trauma and your memory becomes a mix or reality and imagination
Tamasha has some serious editing issues. The final cut of each episode isn't as entertaining as the previous two seasons. The fights they have seem boring and look forced, as if they’re just put on for show. Badshah’s appearances are getting a bit much!! Please koi Adnan Siddiqui ko koi naya drama de do ya ussay chutti pe bhej do so we don’t see him so frequently. 😅
I agree with Aamna. We are not independent. If you closley listen to the anthem you get the true essence of why Pakistan was created not just to be sung on independence day with mili songs
Glad that I didn't Gentleman after first episode, the mafia genre whether in books or shows never attract me. Male leads who don't earn righteously and threaten peopep never intereste, I always find soft male lead better. Unfortunately, I know dramas like Ishq hua and Gentlemen will make situation worse and glorify goons and fake masculinity when we already know how men in India and Pakistan have male-ego high as sky. I do not agree with ZPKB, I think in last few years we don't come across as dramas like Udaari, DNUTH, YKS which wind different storylines focusing on social issues. Last few years, we only watched cringey and over the top romance that's why audience and even reviewers turn impatient when they don't see Romance as main premise. ZPKB is a drama with goals, I hope you all underastand this. I am enjoying it personally , apart rrom that KHKT is also doing good
I have to say gentleman is disappointing and i can hear KRQ's disgusting language in words like sali and make her dance something etc.. he is gross man and his ideas trickle down into his writing. because when it comes to writers you can't separate art from the artist.

Tbh , its ungratefulness to not consider pakistan azad, I have friends from Myanmar, loas, yemen, iran , sri lanka, aghanistan the problem they face in everyday lives thank God we dont have it. Its a blessing to have a country to call your own.

This year we should have had a silent protest by now going out and celebrating but to stay home celebrate at home privately. Whats left in gentleman ? It is completely flat these eps seem repetitive. Same rhemati faris plotting. Zarnab being extremely unrealistic at work. Munna openly challenging rhemati without actually dipomatically using power to bring the change! Zarnab and munna will have a confession in the end then he'll die.

Ishq hoa was hooked up. Sohail sameer was very good but looks like "Raees". Komal mir's outlook was good according to her parents' profession, kaam wale kapray. ALSO sets were appealing.
ishq hua : i was disliking it even before watching it but surprisingly i like it for now.. even i like the color grading .. different on tv screen. And memory erases after trauma.. i always think of kids who get kidnapped at age of 13,14 and are sold out but after many years they do not remember their parents name, their faces their siblings , it all becomes kind of a blurry or hazy. i've watched many real documentaries.

Jo mulk/desh apne aourto ko safety na de sakey, jaha ki aourtein abhi bhi qaid hai wo desh azaad nahi hai. Na in dono countries me education ki azadi hai, na health care ki azadi hai, na basic necessities humein asani se milti hai. Hum kha ma kha hi independence day mana kar dil ko khush karte hai.
