This top 10 hit power ballad was written by 70s artist Eric Carmen, who based the verse on the second movement (Adagio sostenuto) of Sergei Rachmaninoff's Piano Concerto No. 2 in C minor, Opus 18. Celine Dion recorded this song in 1996 making is a no 1 hit in America for 3 weeks.

Incredible. Incredible how this old, well known and rather worn song has become refreshened by Willemijn's voice and performance! I would not have believed if you told me yesterday I was going to be touched by "All by myself" :-O How she sings it! The emotion! The perfection! All these notes!!! And, last but not least - look at her face - it is beautifully acted!

Just to let you know Celine Dion was not the original however I agree her version is the best and although Willemijn is a great singer I have to agree Celine’s version is special ❤️
