for my opinion, I will say yes to federalism, kasi bilang mag aaral at pangkaraniwang mamamayan, I believe federalism ay makakatulong sa equal distribution ng mga Government services pati narin sa mga basic infrastrucature tulad ng schools, hospital, mga Highways at tulay at iba pa... Sa current Government system kasi yung mga taxes from local to national napupunta lamang sa mga concentrated city tulad ng Metro manila kaya mas mayaman yung City nila kumpara sa ibang region na makikita sa Visayas at Mindanao, if the government will divide it into 3 states (LUZVISMIN) maaaring maaari na maka focus yung mga state government sa mga nasasakupan nila... at yung central Government yun yung need e maximaze at e strengthen para magmanage sa tatlong states, OO MAHIRAP TAYO, MAHIRAP ANG BANSA NATIN DAHIL SA UNEQUAL DISTIBUTION NG MGA BASIC SERVICES... FEDERALISM IS NOT ONLY FOR RICH COUNTRY BUT ALSO FOR POOR COUNTRIES... thank you love love lang po tayo ❤❤ hehehehehe

Yes to Federalism but I think we do really need to correct the constitution specifically for economic liberation

Federalism will promote competitions among regions that could result to increase of investors and jobs. Increase of businesses means more tax for the government, more jobs for the people, and income for businesses at mas Manila nating mababayaran ang utang pinas. It can also promote better services among businesses cuz of competition with other businesses

Federalism will uplift the Philippines like how it did to the USA when they started...democracy is bringing it down. Remember democracy (majority rules) is great when majority is educated, not easily persuade by money, False claim, false promises

i think federalism can be made in our government system but we need to fix first our government cleansing we cannot change the government as long as there are some people in power that are still sipping the funds of society like a water inside the bottle

I have an upcoming debate, and I did get some ideas from this. I have not seen other debates (posted by PTV) other than this but I do assume this is informal. While I do understand this is informal, I think the rule of respect, such as letting the other speaker finish first before speaking, still applies. They had thought-provoking arguments so kudos to that. Nevertheless, I'd say yes to federalism and stop sticking to the status quo. Change is constant. There is no such thing as perfect government, and arguing on that ground will be a waste of time. We cannot really say that sticking to democratic/republican would be best without even trying federalism. What we have to do is work our way up to that transition until the state is stable. Struggle is given, there is nothing we can do about that. One way or another, there will be issues and concerns from its constituents, and we just have to work our way up.

I will vote for candidates who will uphold Philippine sovereignty, protect national interest, rationalize foreign policy, advance Federalism, nurture nature, promote family planning & restore death penalty. I want federal presidential unicameral system. VP will head congress. Congress will appoint cabinet members. Federal government will focus on governance, sovereignty, fiscal policies, foreign relations, direct investments, multicultural identity and justice system. Local governments will have fiscal, linguistic & cultural autonomy & manage: trade, infrastructure, education, health, environment, industrialization, agriculture, employment and social services.

If the state is weak then why we can is it by further proposing by federal set up critics of a federal set ups sight the facts that various provinces here in the phillipines are an evily endope human and national resources . In one province with small unnual revenew becomes as self supporting under federal constructure this revenews will remains small in absolute term compare to big inrelately develope provinces regardless of the percentage retain by the revenews by the provinces thus there will be an even development 2nd thing its very expensive to have this kind of federal goverment well infact we do not enough funds bcoz we are still paying our debts we have already the LGU's and NGO's to monitor that needs people they have the power to equal to the national goverment we are making situition complicated if we change our goverment into federal . lasty the phillipines is a 3rd world country and according to survey only 25 out of 190 countries in the world have this kindfull of federal political system and 3 out of 25 countries are in asia it only indicates the 3rd country like us is not ready and cannot afford the like federal goverment.we from the negative side firmly believes that the phillipine should not adopt federal system we do not need here a change of a goverment all we need is to certain the centralize goverment Yes we do not debrive the people what best for them.but we do not let the people suffer for something that is an unsure it we will be suceed and will bring developement in the future
