A wonderful lecture indeed. I come back to it every now and then to remind myself of these wonderful reflections. May Allah bless Ustadh Nouman Ali Khan and grant him Jannah.
Alhamdulillah! I am so grateful to Allah Subhana wa ta’ala for you covering this topic. The idea of operating from my ego is so scary! I ask Allah ta’ala to help me with more humility. Ameen It is easy to get out of step with Allah’s way and slide slowly away from the example of the Prophet(pbuh). I pray that Allah Subhana wa ta’ala bless me to be careful of my intentions. As a longtime leader, I aligned myself with others who are more knowledgeable and seem to practice with less ego, h, this lecture has offered Quranic tools to check myself! These Tips to use are so simple yet effective. I need Allah Subhana wa ta’ala to help me become a better believer who has more humbleness and base my entire existence for the Pleasure of Allah ta’ala. Ameen I so much do not want to have any arrogance in me. I shudder to think that Ive often delivered from a position of arrogance. Inshallah, I’m starting today with a personal assessment. May Allah ta’ala bless you Ustadh p Khan for sharing this message. May this lecture benefit so many more. Ameen

(I seek refuge in Allah from the accursed satan. In the name of Allah, the Most Beneficent the Most Merciful) "He gives wisdom to whom He wills, and whoever has been given wisdom has certainly been given much good. And none will remember except those of understanding." (Surah Baqarah, 269) SubhanAllah. Alhamdulillah. Allahu Al Kabeer, Allahu Al Mutakabbeer. Allahu Akbar. Salamun alaykum to all.
By that standard millions of people have “monsters” on the inside. Except Allah only holds them accountable for their deeds. Their inner work is a private matter.

Change your mindset by understanding that all good comes from Allah swt. If you contributed to others by giving dawah, understand that you were only able to do that because of Allah swt and that the good could not even be without Allah swt.
im sorry there are muslim people out there that take advantage of the kindness or helplessness of another person. than they will play the your a muslim and you should forgive people. people have done stuff to me that has no words.
