Concerns have been raised over the Hui Muslim minority in China, amid claims their religious identity is being restricted.
Sky News has travelled to Hui communities in north central China, investigating reports of the Communist Party's encroachment into religious practice, including a pattern of mosques being modified to look more Chinese.
China says its policies protect religious freedom.

The evidence goes against your claim everywhere Islam went people kept their ancestors religions, compare this with Christianity do we see people worshipping Odin, Thor or Zeus? Or even native American gods in their countries? The answer is no. We can see Iran is probably the most radical version and people there even kept their pre Islamic religions like Zoroastrians and even the Jews that King Cyrus saved long before Islam came are still in Iran today, every other Muslim country is the same and people have kept their ancestors religion. Islam is like Christianity in that its a missionary faith that is based on worshipping the Creator and has no restrictions on who can join. Keep in mind it's alot easier to convince people to worship God than it is to worship something other than God.

It's well known that communist ideology has also caused the destruction of indigenous Chinese culture including the destruction of Tibetan Buddhist Temples & Taoist Temples. Communist party at one point even wanted to replace the Chinese writing system with Latin/Roman alphabets. Some CCP leaders after Mao's death did express regret over all that chaos under Mao but it's too late to undo many of the damage they did. Any foreign ideology that tries to replace or destroy indigenous cultures is bad.

Minarets and domes are 20th century changes. Prior to that, mosques in China were reflective of Chinese culture. That is, mosques originally had traditional chinese style roofs as an example.

Chinese government officials have no faith and are the best for all. Because they don't discriminate against any one religion. Look at the United States, which claims to be the most equal, and they say they don't discriminate!? Just ask the Palestinians. Americans say they believe in Christ and believe in God, but that doesn't mean they're not hypocritical, even if God doesn't allow him to do so
