Charles beat Justin and lost to islam. So we can't use his win against Justin to conclude he is the #1 contender anymore. Then he beat dariush with a KO, and Justin beat Dustin with a KO. Charles was careless and got hurt 1 day before he was flying out for a main event!. I have a feeling Charles will get the shot, but I agree Charles should fight Justin and winner take on islam or I would rather see Justin get the shot. These rematches are getting quite boring tbh, it's not like the first fight with Charles was competitive.

and oliveira is the biggest threat to islam by far. i could care less about seeing islam vs gaethje, thankfully the islam vs oliveira rematch is the biggest fight in the division by far, so there's a good chance they'll make that fight next.

​@@marblejar786he got submitted after throwing a half-assed jump knee and getting clipped and rocked. in the first round he neutralized islam from the bottom and made it back to his feet. he was clearly not at his best in that first fight. i get islam is a tougher opponent than dariush, but he looked faster, stronger, and sharper in the dariush fight even khabib expected a tougher fight for islam in the rematch, he's actually less biased than his fan base who claim your making excuses and "coping" if you point out the obvious fact that charles looked off in their first fight. islam could definitely win the rematch, but it'll almost certainly be more competitive, especially if it takes place in neutral territory.
